Today, I had the opportunity to try this place called Potbelly. They had some old local guy in there with his guitar, amp and voice adding to the experience. I ordered the skinny two with a ham and Swiss on flat bread, and the chicken enchilada soup. I must say that both were very good, filling and worth the money. The Italian seasoning that they use on the sandwiches added the right kind of kick that I was looking for. The soup was amazing as well. With the oyster crackers that they provide it was just enough and had a nice little kick to the flavoring. All and all, money well spent and will definitely be back for more in the future. read more

I have thought long and hard about posting a review today of my experience with this store, given the COVID challenges that restaurants presently face, but have decided to do so after much thought. I arrived to a thankfully "customer-less" location at the time, and proceeded to place my sandwich order. The gentleman who started my order was friendly, had a mask on, and greeted me/helped me right away. However, while I waited for the initial toasting of the sandwich, the problems occurred. Another customer entered wearing a mask loosely covering his chin, and not his nose or mouth. He walked back and forth behind the order line within one foot of me, with the staff saying nothing. I could not wait to get out of there, but had to wait for my sandwich to finish toasting. When it came out, another female employee took over and asked me what toppings I wanted on it. I told her, and she finished making my sandwich, put it in a paper bag, handed it to me, and then walked away to talk to a co-worker. I was left at the counter with no one to ring me up so I could pay and leave. The whole time I stood there, while the initial male employee, female manager, and she stood in the middle of the conveyor, not manning the register, and just talking together. To be fair, this was maybe a total of several minutes, but who wants to have a hot sandwich in their hand and just wait to pay for that long with only one other customer in the store? Finally, she returned, and after making my sandwich, asked me what I ordered so that she could ring me up. Didn't she just make my sandwich herself?? She asked me twice what kind of sandwich I had and if I had ordered mushrooms and bacon additionally (I hadn't, and clearly wasn't on the order she MADE HERSELF - that's how long she "checked out" for) and the checkout process took longer than making the sandwich itself. I was trying to support a food service business with my dollars during this time by hopefully safely quickly getting in and out, but this was not the case. All the while, the man with no mask kept walking next to me behind the line with nothing said by employees. It was clear that most of the staff there today were not concerned with COVID protocols, nor getting people in and out quickly, nor customer service. The young woman who made my sandwich, then kept trying to upcharge me for ingredients not on my sandwich, clearly didn't even care to remember that she personally made it for me. Aside from the nice young man who started my order, not professional, not friendly, not hospitable and not safe. Definitely will not go back to this location any time soon. read more

Best sandwiches! Employees are friendly, especially the manager, and the line goes quickly - even when it's long. Love the atmosphere and also that they have some outdoor seating for when it gets extra crowded inside. But even the indoor tables open up pretty quickly. Great location! The food was great. I love how it's made to order, and hot from their toaster. However... The girl making our sandwiches was disinterested in her job, the employees were joking about how she didn't want to be there, and she acted like she was inconvenienced because she was having to work. The tables and chairs were sticky and had crumbs on them. We stopped at 4 tables before finding one that was acceptably clean, and I still had to wipe it down with wipes I keep on hand. I think I would definitely get something to-go from here again because the food is truly good. Unfortunately, the dining experience is not solely about the food you're eating. This was my first time visiting this particular Potbelly's but it was a delight. I tend to make up a sandwich when I go to PB, and of course they delivered. This PB is in my area so I am sure that I will go again. It's relatively new, extremely clean and at the time I visited, it was not crowded. Also, the sandwich I design is the same as the one I design in DC. However, it cost a lot less than the DC prices which does not give me a fraction of what I ordered here. read more

Horrible place! My 1st and last time here and this is the worst experience! All the fountain drinks came out clear and when I told the people who worked there, they did nothing! They also let a whole bunch of squatters sit in the dining area not eating just socializing! This place will lose their business if the owner has ever seen how it is being ran! LOVE THIS PLACE! Highly recommend. Staff is always polite and courteous. Charise went out of her way to help me one day when I was desperately craving PotBelly but didn't want to drag my prego self and 2 toddlers out of the car. I had asked for delivery to my car in the parking lot; but they don't offer delivery on the weekend. She said she could bring it to my car after I told her my situation. I tried to give her a tip and she said they didn't accept tips and it wasn't a problem at all. Their subs are really yummy. I think it would take me a long time before I get tired of this place. Get your subs with all ingredients and potbelly vinagrette and ranch on the side as dipping sauces. When I looked at the receipt, I noticed that the prices here are slightly lower than the prices in NY. When I ate potbelly in NY, the same meal would be about $10-$12. Came in with my family the other day and the first thing we noticed is how surprisingly dirty the floors were. You can tell it was shift change because employees were coming and going so it was hard to get something you needed without waiting but I would think it would be spotless before the night shift came on or even because there was only one other table. We love potbelly, food has always been delicious. We ordered a meatball and mushroom and the mushrooms were absolutely disgusting. We also ordered enchilada soup which they were out of again. Shakes are freshly made, the bread is tasty and the fixings are awesome. The service amazing and the place was clean to eat in comfortable.

Again came in and ordered two sandwiches and a strawberry shake. Actually I ordered the shake first. The order taker yells "Shake" but when I get to the cashier there is no shake (again). I've told them repeatedly that screaming shake does not cut it but they keep doing it. And I would love to get hot peppers on my sandwich but what they have for hot peppers is what they term their garden variety with all sort of crap in it that I don't like and don't want to eat. I notified corporate, AGAIN, about the problem but they tried to put the blame on the store. The General Manager sent me an email offering me coupons and I sent him my address but now coupons ever showed up. I keep telling corporate that the shake problem is something that needs to be resolved at corporate level, not tossed off on one store. Especially their garden variety hot pepper.
