We ate here today and had a really good experience. I would say Potbelly is kind of similar to Firehouse. It's in Stonebridge Mall and is on the outside (south side) of the mall. There was plenty of parking. It was raining, but we noticed that they did have patio seating. The restaurant was very clean, and the employees were very friendly. I ordered "A Wreck" and my wife ordered the "Mediterranean." Both were very good. They had a big variety of bottled soda from IBC root beer to Jones'. They also had a soda fountain and oddly had both Coke and Pepsi. I also noticed they had some notes on the wall about donating to local organizations and a flyer for Toys for Tots. We really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be back. As we finished up and headed out a man was setting up with a guitar but we left before he played. My only complaint, and not really a complaint would be that Potbelly is like Panera in that they nickel and dime you. The dimes (two dimes to be exact) if you ordered flat bread. They added mushrooms to her sandwich and that was 50 cents. A dollar something for chips, and $2 for a soda. I know a lot of places are like that, and I realize it's not a McDonald's where it's a "combo" but it's also not a place where you order a steak and the potatoes are extra. It wouldn't stop me from going back of course, but maybe less frequently. I realize that's silly --the restaurant was clean, service was friendly, food was good and there seems to be community investment too. read more

A great experience this week. I was embarrassed to have a gift card that somehow was not loaded. The manager was very nice to accommodate me and my guest. Of course the food was as always amazing. The pizza sub rocked. Great customer service! read more

It might be because this place was so talked up by friends my expectation was to high however while good subs it was just that good. The drinks are interesting but i like normal sodas so nothing special for me there. The sub was good i enjoyed it and have been back twice now and while both times good nothing to write home about. read more

I am a huge fan. The sandwiches are far better than your average sub shop. I had the Mediterranean sandwich sans chicken and a coffee milkshake. Loved them both. Went in at 1130 and they were super busy in house and with takeout/delivery orders. Staff was uber friendly and I was in and out within 10 minutes tops. My new fav sub shop!!! read more

The food here is good, but nothing special. The staff is nice but there was really no wow factor or anything impressive. I've been here twice to give it a chance. They do lack accuracy on the orders. Both times I've been here I've asked for avocado on my sandwich which was also forgotten each time. I would under stand if it was crazy busy or hectic (it happens) but it was just about dead inside both times too. read more

Extemely annoyed. I tried to order from this place 4 times. Every time there was some excuse to why they can not deliver. Today there was finally no excuses BUT there is a $25 minumum for deliveries..... WHAT?? So your telling me that I need to order like 5 sandwiches in order to get a delivery?? SO ridiculous. You lost my business 4 times already and i kept calling back. I will never call back again. read more

A friend made a to go order and I picked it up. When I got there they said it wasn't quite ready and gave me a complementary drink while I was waiting. The different salads and one sub were enjoyed by all. They even called later to my friends phone who placed the order to see how everything was - Great customer service, especially employee Jamal. read more

I have always been a potbelly fan even before this location opened in woodbridge. My husband and I grew up in fairfax and visited the location there frequently and have nothing but great things to say about that locations. However since we moved to the area the stone bridge location is the closest I had no problem with this location except that over the last few months customer service here has been beyond horrible from teenagers with attitude while ordering to just plain being ignored while standing ready to order. But after the experience I had a few weeks ago I don't know how I will be going back to this location I am 7months pregnant and had a serious craving for a potbelly sandwich I looked at the store hours and they posted to be closed at 9:30 so my husband and I rushed over and arrived exactly at 9pm well within 30 minutes of closing time . To our surprise the doors were locked and inside were 3 young employees 2 young girls and a younger boy. As I tried to know On the door a passer by said why are they closed 30minutes before closing time? So I knocked on the door again and one of the girls come to the door with a nasty attitude and said can't you we are closed! Thank you for the obvious but I politely pointed out that the sign said 9:30 and that it was only 9pm I asked why are you closed early? She rolled her eyes at me an Said we are closed because we have not supplies to make food? Really?!? How is this possible so I asked her you are out of everything? She said yes and when I explained I would call and find out why they were out I everything the next day she rolled her eyes at me and said ugh just come in and make it quick!! Really !?!?! So you were not out of anything and while in the store I over heard one of them say so much for our plan! So because you didn't feel like being open another 30minutes you took it upon your self to close? That has had to have been to most ridiculous customer service moment I have ever encountered in my life! Not only as a customer but wonder if the owners know what their younger staff is up to at night! With all this said I still don't know if we will be back to this location. read more
