Observed over serving drunk patrons. The bar owner decided he doesn't care because he owns other bars in Calgary. The owner is not local and let the staff do whatever they want because they do not come out to see what they are doing. Like the environment, its okay for a dive bar... do not like the staff and will NOT go into this establishment unless they get rid of the poor staffing. I would visit ANY location in Cochrane besides this place, there are WAY better options with lower pricing and staff that actually care and pay attention. This is a wonder place for breakfast, lunch or just a coffee in Sundre. In a place like Sundre…read morethat celebrates its cowboy culture I certainly didn't expect to find a trendy coffee and sandwich shop. I ordered the soup and sandwich special. The soup was wonderful and thick. I can assure you that this soup didn't come from a can. It was cabbage soup with a few perogies thrown in for good measure. The sandwich was partially my own creation because you choose all the ingredients of it from the bread type to the condiments (I had horse radish, mustard and sauerkraut). There's password protected WiFi to help catch up on the latest stuff on your phone. Inside is tastefully decorated with murals and other things to keep you busy. The washrooms are downstairs so that might be an issue for anyone who is mobility challenged. This is a place where I definitely will return to if I pass through Sundre again. I had RSV followed by COVID and for over a month I ate nothing but soup…read more Initially I was concerned about getting nourishment while trying to recover. But, family started dropping off Primal soup for me and I realized with the variety available, it would be fine. The soups taste like your Baba or Nonno or Nan have made them on a stove with love. My Favorites were borscht, the mushroom varieties, Thai chicken, Turkey dinner, lentil and curry ones, but truly I liked every single one I tried. It usually took 2 days to finish one container. When I started to improve I served half the shitake mushroom soup (which contains wine) over wild rice with chicken and that was amazing. I will continue to keep these healthy and scrumptious soups as part of my normal routine. I will also keep them in mind for when friends are sick!

I do appreciate that the restaurant indicated that this is an Asian fusion. They serve Filipino, Indonesian, Singaporean and Thai food here. They also provide parking and a clean washroom.
