This is a nice store at Alderwood. I don't shop here much because it's not in my budget...I have four kids that are very active...so I plan on having nice things when I'm dead. The store is very clean, employees are helpful. They have so many things that I would love to buy...when you walk in those beds are so inviting...if they wouldn't notice, I would definitely crawl in and give it a try....you know...just for an hour or so. They have some nice furniture pieces, fun little items, and stuff I can afford...like bathrobes, or knick knacks....lol I usually walk thru Pottery Barn to get to the Sephora because of they way parking is in that mall (which is terrible). So I "window shop" more than anything else.

My daughter purchased a glass vase at Pottery Barn a few years ago. I broke it accidentally. Though she said "that's ok Dad," I knew that she really liked the vase. The next day I went to the Lynnwood Pottery Barn, hoping to find a suitable replacement. After showing the sales women the broken vase, she (Associate # 219897) asked if I could Wait a bit while she looked for one in the warehouse/back room, as there was none on display. She found the exact vase, for which I am indeed grateful. Henceforth, I am a Potttery Barn customer for life, as this saleswoman defines customer service.

The staff are all friendly and I love to chat whenever I pop in. They have a good selection for the size of the store.

I'd gone to several…read moredifferent furniture stores and narrowed down what I was looking for in terms of style and color, and the fact that I definitely wanted the brand, Stanton, but with the long lead times for all ordered furniture, was referred to Furniture World because they have access to a large number of styles in stock. Specifically, with Stanton. (If you're not aware, it's a furniture manufacturer based in Oregon with great quality and fabulous warranty.) Anyway, I went and Brandy was the PERFECT combination of available, helpful, and not pushy. I was able to explore and try different pieces, ask questions, and she gave great recommendations. She was beyond patient while I FaceTimed my husband, shared dimensions, and even helped me drag cushions outside to see the colors in the daylight. They have great availability for arranging delivery, and it's very reasonable. Another quick side note that just made me pleased to shop here: A gentleman came in while I was there looking for office chairs, and while it's not a product they sell, Brandy still gave him recommendations and advice on where to go for a good selection. Finally, the atmosphere among the people working there was exactly what you'd hope for. It's not a team of salespeople competing against each other for a sale, it's people that seemed to genuinely enjoy each other's company, chatting about life outside of work, what you'd hope for in a work environment. Highly recommend Brandy and the team at Furniture World!

The wood for dining tables, coffee tables, headboards, etc is all REAL wood which is hard to find these days. And there is a GREAT selection. The furniture they carry is all classic. It will still look good in 20 years. After 20 years of having the dining table we bought there, even though it looks amazing still and never had any issues, we went back to get another one for a refresh. We were lucky in getting to work with Phillip who very sincerely friendly and happy to help. He also was there when we needed him, but also kept his distance when appropriate to let us talk and look at products. His product knowledge was very good and if there was a question he wasn't 100% on the answer (once maybe?), he went and verified which is very appreciated. Most people these days would just say what they know as the truth rather than doing the double-check in this situation. He wanted to make sure we got what we wanted / needed. He wasn't pushy or rushing us like many sales people do. They should clone him :) When we need another piece, we will be sure to keep going back to Underhill's and will request Phillip:)

I love HomeGoods and shop at many of their locations often. I was at H-mart across the street and was delighted to see a HomeGoods across the street. I decided to go in but quickly regretted it. One of the first problems with this location is that they are overrun with inventory. This isn't a large store, so I don't know why they have so much stuff. There isn't enough space in the store to display it all in a safe and neat manner. I used to work retail many moons ago, so seeing unpacked boxes hanging out on the floor, as well as a wall of unpacked cardboard boxes in the lighting section, tells me that their back storage area must also be full. There were also about 5-6 tables outside of the store with tons of stuff on them, all clearance that they were trying to get rid of. The store looks sloppy and unprofessional. It's like the manager and the staff just to give a damn. The shelves are also a mess and the merchandise was sloppily hanging on the shelves. There was one aisle that had pillows on the floor. There were so many that they were blocking the way. You couldn't get through without stepping on them or tripping. Are they trying to get sued??? Honestly, there was just shit everywhere in and out of boxes. Even if this was just a bad and busy day, I will never come back. The location in Queen Anne on Armory is much nicer and better run. If you want a nice shopping experience where you aren't at risk of injury due to store items on the floor, don't shop here.

Always a joy shopping at this particular location, staff is always happy and helpful!read more

In long We need a better recliner for my lovely bride, and maybe a better bed. She's dealing with pain and immobility since her stroke last year, so these are big necessities. We've checked a couple other places, and the chair she likes here has all the same features and comfort but costs 30-50% less than the other stores. The adjustable bed is crazy expensive, but probably is anywhere. The showroom here is huge, and they have filled it well. It's a bit scattered in terms of where each type of furniture is, but it looks nice. The salespeople here are pleasant, and they can answer every question without having to run to the back over and over. That's a plus. They carry tablets to run numbers and look stuff up. The big downside is that they clearly train everybody up to never leave a second of air in the conversation. They never, ever stop talking, even if you're trying to talk amongst yourselves for a second or need a second to think or whatever. I suppose it could be worse, but not all of us need that kind of handling. Still, I'll take a well-trained staff and better prices over a calmer conversation. We'll be paying for this stuff for a while, but we need to be in the store for less than an hour out of our lives.
