It's as big as a Lowe's or Home Depot and as jam packed with goods as a Hobby Lobby. Furniture for every room, wall hangings, kitchen and bathroom goods, glassware and dishes and silverware, closet accessories, home décor, lamps, clocks, even food and toys. I purchased a sectional from Bob's in September 2024. From the beginning, the mechanism of one of…read morethe recliners was broke. After a repair person "fixed it", it still was not working properly and the chair was crooked. We looked at it ourselves, only to find out there was one screw holding the mechanism on and it was the wrong type of screw. What kind of workmanship is that? I did purchase the Goop warranty and submitted a claim because one of the sectional pieces is wearing. It is only one year old and used, maybe two hours a day. The fabric is wearing creating strings. My claim was denied stating it is "normal" wear. Why would anyone buy furniture at Bob's when after one year, the additional warranty doesn't cover unacceptable wear for one year of use?

We visited this store a few weeks ago after my daughters urging and at first we felt like we were going into the depths of a dungeon. Once down inside the basement where the store is we could not stop looking. Everywhere you turn something catches your eye. Memories from the past as a kid were incredible. I kept telling my wife that my mom and dad used to have this and that. A fun time. The guy Scott knows his items. Very friendly and kind. I must say that we have been in many many shops across the country and I can see the craftmanship and work that they put into bringing these pieces back to life. I am not sure how many workers they have restoring these pieces but whoever does then I take my hat off. You can find some higher priced items if you wish but the low and reasonable prices are everywhere. Some of the wonderful pieces were even less expensive than Ikea. We were just in the area from San Francisco and we will be back around September and I promise that we will be shopping and seeing what they can do for shipping. I will keep you up to date but in the mean time if you are nearby or not far away then you should really check this place out. Awesome. Talk with the guy Scott and I have the feeling he will help you in any way he can. Hopefully he knows shipping also for our sake. This is not a fancy hoity toity store but you can feel at home every minute. This is a good old fashioned vintage antique store. Affordable rugs and decor but this place is messy and shelves are packed almost like a puzzle. If you take one thing down it was probably holding something up. I'd come again for gifts and maybe decor but nothing serious. Workers didn't seem to care about the mess, I watched them just pile crap onto the shelves without moving anything to make it look nice.

World Market is such a beautiful store. There are isles of international cookies, chocolate and other goods. There's also beautiful furniture, pillows and kitchen items. I personally wouldn't invest in a couch from World Market because it's typically very expensive, and you can find similar items at other retailers. But they have unique accent chairs and small attractive furniture items. My favorite thing to get here, in addition to the chocolate, are the Christmas ornaments. They are so, so beautiful, and so unique. There is so much detail in each one. Now that it's after Christmas, they are all 50% off, making each one around $2.50 - $4.00. If you have a World Market in your area, I'd encourage you go and check them out. While some items are more expensive, the unique items, hard to find items and the nostalgic items are what it's worth stopping for.

We purchased items from them before (floor lamp, coffee table, outdoor furniture) and were very satisfied. The store is beautiful and very easy to browse through. Joe and Mary are helpful and knowledgeable and put no pressure on you. Mary even encourages you to take fabric samples home before committing to a purchase. Joe and his colleague delivered our sofa and took away our old one. We have many narrow doors and stairs to negotiate and they did the job so carefully and with such patience.
