This is just another name for a Tj Maxx. They have the same pricing stickers and the furniture is basic and def isn't for a forever home. Great for renters though. Affordable rugs and decor but this place is messy and shelves are packed almost like a puzzle. If you take one thing down it was probably holding something up. I'd come again for gifts and maybe decor but nothing serious. Workers didn't seem to care about the mess, I watched them just pile crap onto the shelves without moving anything to make it look nice. read more

I love this store so much. It's split between HomeGoods and TJ Maxx. I could do without being asked if I want to sign up for a credit card every time I'm there, but the employees at least aren't pushy about it - just doing their jobs. I like to come here and just walk around. TBH I don't buy stuff every time, I just like looking. But every once in a while you find something too great to pass up. Like this pretty glass flower bowl I got for only $6. And we got a nice ottoman style storage bench on clearance for $80. They have another store from this company in the same strip mall called Home Sense, which focuses more on bigger household items. read more

Always fun to shop at HomeGoods and this location is my second favorite after the Wethersfield one. Definitely a big store with lots of options, you will never walk out of here without picking anything. Plenty of parking and helpful staff as well. During the holiday season it gets PACKED and the checkout lines are long, but keeps moving fast with the number of counters and staff they have. Always a fun place to shop. read more

If you see something you like grab it, sometimes I see something and want to think on it, and when I return in a few days it's gone. Great assortment of seasonal items and cute gifts for under $10. Somehow I have either deleted my review for here or have always just been so excited I have always forgotten to leave one, because this is hands down my most favorite HomeGoods in the state of CT. And I've been to them all. Literally. Every single one. This store is jam packed with anything and everything and I have never seen it looking sparse in the 7 years I've been going here. It was one of the first stores I went to when I first moved to CT, so maybe I'm also biased, but I've found all of my house's larger decor items and furniture here over the years. Their snack section is totally on point, and they have the best cleaning and laundry room supply selections of any of their sister stores. If you're in the Manchester/Vernon area, you HAVE to stop in here, even if it's just for snacks instead of house type goods. read more

I don't think any store makes me feel as unstable as when I step foot into Homegoods. My brain becomes so overstimulated with colors, fabrics, and thousands of items that I'll never need but want all at the same time. This store is so ripe for impulse buys that it nearly makes my head explode. In the best way possible. This store, in particular, is a goldmine of excellent style and great deals... Today, I left with an awesome lamp, bar tray, and even a toothbrush holder for less than $50. Love it! read more

I usually enjoy going to HomeGoods but this location is just too chaotic. Stuff is everywhere, you can barely walk down the aisles, the shelves are overflowing and poorly stacked. I've wanted to look at a serving tray but couldn't get it out since it was on the bottom of a stack that was way too heavy. The most disappointing thing is when you go look at the clearance, there are items that are so badly broken it isn't even funny yet they are only a few dollars off. The goods are already so poorly made from HomeGood retailers in general and them selling completely broken items on top of it is just unacceptable service. read more

Definitely seems to be the best home goods in the area, and there are you obviously have to shop around in it to find a good deal.. There are plenty of them to be hard and there's a lot of variety. There's particularly a large selection of decorations and kitchen type items, as well as candles, furniture items ( though mostly too expensive for the quality in my opinion) picture frames and paintings and other wall hangings and bath & bedding stuff, lamps, etc. It's also next to (and shares the registers with) TJ Maxx. As you'd expect, to TJ Maxx is geared much more heavily towards women like they usually are. For example there's a way more women's clothing, and there's no men's shoe section last time I checked. There's still plenty of good deals to be had here though. The parking lot here is huge, which I seem to comment on in a lot of my reviews.. But I don't like parking your other people damn it! read more

I really like this homegoods by far this is the cleanest and most organized location. It didn't used to be like this, but its clear they may have changed management. They carry a large selection of lighting and furniture, most importantly the largest selection of oversized art under 150$ compared to the rocky hill store where the larger art seem to always be damaged. Plenty of staff on the floor constantly organizing everything, so walking in now I can clearly see where things I need are. They already have the biggest selection of seasonal decor out which is great if you want a head start on replacing those broken glass ornaments. Lots of parking, located in a plaza right off the highway. I was never impressed with the TJMax side, seems their goods have been slim, not the best brands, not a lot of men's goods either so I still have to go to the Silas Dean Marshall's for Ralph Lauren suites, ties, jackets etc. the men's collection at Tj's seem to appeal more to the younger generation, by that I mean lots of jeans you can let hang down your butt and oversized Shirts and layered looks for those skinny insecure guys who always wear 2 sizes too big apparel thinking it makes them look muscular when really it just makes them look like stick figures in unflattering pants... You get the picture.... All and all you won't be disappointed with the homegoods side read more

TJ Maxx used to be a great discounter. But this particular location seems to have a thinning of the inventory lately. I don't see where they're replenishing stock in men's as they've done in the past. It's really interesting. I wonder, are vendors no longer selling overstock to TJ Maxx like they used to? Nevertheless, I was able to find a car holster for my iPhone for cheap. I've been looking for one for ages...finally found just what I wanted. HomeGoods side of the building is always a mess. It's haphazardly organized and cluttered. But this store is busy, so I'm sure recovery during the day can be an issue. Checkout lines are very good. But get the wrong checker and she/he will badger you into opening a credit account. Ask once, peeps...more than once is really, really annoying. read more

It doesn't matter when you come --- mid-afternoon midweek, the day before Christmas, or a Saturday morning, you will always wait in a line. They have like ten cashiers open, but, still, there's always a line. It moves pretty quick, so don't be scared away. The best part about HomeGoods is that they carry Glutenetto gluten-free Ameretti cookies, though, the last two times I stopped in, they were out of stock. This makes me sad. Restock, HomeGoods. I am genuinely surprised at how awesome Homegoods is! I rarely find anything at TjMaxx, and on one fateful evening decided to take a peek around on the other side. I'm glad I did, because I have had more luck on this side of the store than I ever have on the TjMax side. On numerous occasions I've been able to find really sweet things for my kitchen. It takes a good amount of digging around, but usually I end up with something just right. Food organizers/containers, different variations and sizes of mason jars, a coffee table, dried spices and even a bench- some really cool finds for just the right price. Just last week I was able to find a sweet vanity mirror and some kitchen bar stools too! Granted, the materials aren't always the sturdiest, but you get what you pay for. If you can look past the trendy/stylish/hip, you can usually find something that serves both function and form. Conveniently located right off I-84 on exit 65, it's really easy to get to and parking is rarely an issue. read more

There are not enough words to profess my love for this HomeGoods/TJ Maxx location. This store has truly something for everyone. Luckily for me, and sadly for my wallet, It is very close to my house and I am in here quite often. Before moving to the area, I had never even heard of HomeGoods. I was familiar with TJ Maxx, but I think what makes this location stand out so much is it has HomeGoods and TJ Maxx together. You can do all of your shopping at once! I have walked in to look for a specific clothing item and walked out with velvet hangers, wall hangings, bakeware. You name it, they sell it here. Sure you may have to do a little bit of of digging, but in stores like this I think that is half the fun and oftentimes yields some unique items you would never find elsewhere. The store is very organized, clean and easy to navigate around. Located right off of exit 64 on I-84, you can't miss this store from the street. Parking is ample and located in front of the store. read more

Great TJMaxx HomeGoods! Very similar to the Marshalls/Homegoods in Wethersfield, however I think this is larger. The Homegoods portion is without a doubt. Great prices on household items and always a unique selection of gourment snacks, cookbooks, crystal and china. When I'm in the area and have an hour to kill this is a great shop for browsing. The TJ Maxx that is attached has a very large kids toy section and decent shoe area. The ladies purse/cosmetic section is also on the larger side. Clearance sales, as is typical with this chain, are excellent if you are patient and not picky. read more

This place is a Homegoods-TJ Maxx combo store. The Homegoods half is excellent--its consistently FULL of awesome stuff. It takes me a good hour to scope everything out, if only I had a $100 bill in my hand every time I went... Or maybe even $500, because a week ago they had a gorgeous designer bed marked down from $2000 to $500. In reality I'm not in the market for a new bed--but it was beautiful. Beautiful silk flower arrangements, tons of kitchen accessories, lamps, frames, and they even have an aisle for dog stuff now too! Dog bowls, beds, books, toys, etc. The TJ Maxx part is pretty hit or miss, I usually swing by it since they're connected. I bought a Calvin Klein evening gown there a few years ago and saw Fendi sunglasses in 2008, I've been kicking myself for 2 years for not getting them. Took off one star because there is no bathroom...or if there is I haven't been able to find it in the last two years. And usually when I go there, there are teenage employees flirting with each other and trying to hide from their bosses behind deco couch cushions. I'd ask them where the bathroom is, but they're too busy making plans to go across the parking lot to Denny's after their shift. read more

They have everything here that you need and for some really great prices too. I think the men's clothing is hit or miss but maybe that's just the layout of the store. But you really can't go wrong with TJ Maxx Homegoods. The checkout process is mastered and they always seem to have plenty of staff on which makes paying a relatively easy and quick process. read more

I absolutely adore HomeGoods and go here on a regular basis. What's great about this store is that they are constantly getting in new items, which means every time you go, there will always be new things to see. This can also be a drawback. If you see something you like, snap it up. When you go back for it, it might not be there. Lesson I had to learn the hard way. There are a lot of good deals to be had and they sell basically everything you need for the home. Lamps, sheets, pillows, rugs, vases, plates, furniture, baking pans, towels, etc... HomeGoods is one of my favorite stores to go to when I have extra time to wander around. There are some gems to be found in the aisles. Cards and stationary, tea cups and plates, that kind of stuff is my favorite and they have plenty of styles, colors, and options here. So many unique and cute items. Great prices as well. read more

I went to this store on 12/21/2016 and bought four identical microwave food covers. One of the covers was priced slightly higher than the other ones even though they were all completely identical. The cashier( who was very courteous) called for a Manager(I presume thats what he was) to come by and check. He had no intention of helping me even though he agreed that all the items were identical. He insisted I still had to pay a higher price for one of them just because that's what it was ringing up. He is either incompetent and has no idea to change the price on the computer. Or he is completely unwillingly to help customers. I strongly recommended the store to retrain their managers in customer service. I've worked in retail before and I know that this could have been an easily fixed problem. read more
