May 29,2025 Nashville TN My generator purchase and install, along with the follow up was fantastic from the initial consultation with Dan Cooke and my conversation with the Nashville area General Manager, Cory Hooper. Purchase was made, crew arrived just as planned and they went to work. A few hours later the generator was installed and a 20 minute test had been successfully completed. Chad is awesome as are several of the other guys on that crew. The area was smoothed and I declined their offer to reseed the area, instead I laid sod and began throwing the water to it. Fast forward The generator comes on every Thursday for a 20 minute run and has been flawless. Last night, 5/28/25 at 11:57pm, over 19k people were suddenly and without warning, left in the dark. I heard my battery operated UPS beep telling me that the electricity was off. Literally within less than 15 seconds, the generator started and was supplying electricity to my home. The air conditioner, lights, spotlights etc. were on and the generator was quietly purring along for a few hours until NES was able to restore power. Everything was seamless and the investment I made to ensure that my family would be comfortable in the event of a power outage was well worth it. The service I received from Cory and Chad was excellent. The Kohler 30RCLA generator is high quality, and came with a 10 year warranty from Kohler. I was given Charlie McCarty's name from a construction contractor friend and called. He answered and scheduled to meet me at my home the next day. He not surveyed the electrical panel, but inspected each and every outlet in the house. He agreed with everything the home inspector stated in his assessment, and even added a few things that needed to be addressed before St Louis County sent someone for an Occupancy permit inspection. Charlie's computer died the night before his visit, but it did not stop him from meeting me at the agreed upon appointment time. He kept in touch with me as he got his system restored. He sent a crew to the house to handle all the work required after getting the necessary work permits.
