Plenty of stores to choose from clothes to high-tech products, and of course food. A restaurant called 110 Grill is open and the Village Restaurant Pancake Factory (owned also in Pleasant Valley). Many stores come and go over time, which makes it difficult to find what's needed and for enjoyment. The anchor stores hold a shine to this day except for JCPenney and Sears which closed, bringing some less traffic. New stores have opened recently involving a lot of entertainment activities for kids and young adults, such as the Space Adventure Mini Golf course featuring arcades. With more openings happening, I see the Galleria still being a busy mall in the next several years or so, but the vibe has changed so much compared to the mid-late 20th century.

Although I still don't come into this mall every day, every so often I do come in. It's still got…read moreits entrances outside, but now it's got a lot more choices I tend to use, so now I do tend to visit maybe once a month (although I've missed the last month and a half). While I've not shopped in any of the little stores between Dollar Tree and Chinese Restaurant (mentioned momentarily), I've visited the Dollar Tree and Stop and Shop locations on occasion, but here and there I stop in at the Chinese restaurant (almost right next to the S&S). The Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union bank location nearby is also addressed to this mall, although it is unattached and easiest to get to via Kessler Dr just to this malls' north, across from Farm Ln across US-9/Albany Post Rd.) However, although I've been to the drive-up, it's not an everyday occurrence that I use it now. Careful of the Dunkin Donuts and small strip mall, it's addressed to this mall in spots, but it has not the same branding as it was redone not too very long ago, and I've stepped in there more often than most of the others. I rarely see anyone who tends to manage this mall, but the parking lot isn't problematic often. People come and people go over time, and there's little in terms of trash in the parking lot, but what about all the stop&shop and confusing lanes within the parking lot there that makes many (including myself and my brother) turn in circles trying to find the quickest ways out from a given point while avoiding the median. With the traffic light at the corner now, and the traffic flow from the former Shop & Save/Hannaford/ShopRite non-existent across the street, and the cross-traffic from St Andrew Rd and even the tiny mall and Dunkin Donuts in what seems like another area of the parking lot, things seem to flow really well now...Just hope that pattern isn't going to change as soon as this review is seen.

The main attraction, Price Chopper, definitely draws in a lot of customers, considering it a popular store and also being there for many years. It's gone through some changes throughout time in terms of different stores (with TJ Maxx and Home Goods relocating), renovation, construction, and McDonald's which opened a while ago. The services that are provided seem to be in good shape. Traffic is okay for the most part, but can get busy at the traffic light getting on and off Route 9. Some paving needs to be addressed in the parking lot, which will up my rating a bit.

In that case, be careful of students and staff who are constantly walking in the parking lot. Traffic for the most part while driving isn't too bad, despite the layout being a challenge when getting on the plaza roadway, when it's busy. In the main parking lot, there is plenty of room and space to move around, which I've had no trouble at all. The only time I've seen it fairly full is during the weekends and holidays. For the most part, I'm impressed to see everything move smoothly. With its services offered here, take caution of your surroundings.

Stop & Shop and Big Lots are no doubt the big grabbers. The parking lot is in somewhat good condition but not the best due to some paving that needs to be addressed. Traffic, for the most part, can be a nightmare, especially at the stoplight near Big Lots, as it can back up to the intersection. We have been coming here for many years and have never had any serious issues. Check your surroundings, and everything will be okay.

The most recent closures have been Kmart, Burlington, and Silver Cinemas (which all had a long run for many years) along with smaller space stores at the new strip mall. There have been some opening of stores in series, but I do know for a fact that some spaces haven't even opened up yet since The Shoppes at South Hills existed. The costs are probably really high, making it challenging for these businesses to open. I believe the location off Route 9 doesn't have the best visibility since it's up on a hill to make it a success. There are not that many stores to offer, but with enough open now, it can still be the potential to last for many years, just in a slow process. The opening of At Home Furniture Decor is set to open soon in the former Kmart space. I was recently in a car accident and fractured my sternum and three ribs. I don't live in this area but use the CVS by my house and this one is close to my mother's, where I'm staying while I recuperate. My doctor called in a prescription for pain medication and the pharmacist originally said she could only fill 7 days of the script due to insurance (ok, fine), then she said she had to talk to my doctor because of the nature of the prescription. If they had known this, why didn't they call when I spoke to them earlier? Then she refused to fill it! Gand they FINALLY filled the script. If you expect decent customer service or help because you're in pain or sick, DON'T Go to this CVS location, you won't find it here!

They sell items such as manufacturers, extras, and closeouts. If you see something you like, snag it, because there's a good chance it won't be there the next time you come in. The "treasure hunt" aspect is what makes it fun. They have clothes, hardware, kitchenware, pet supplies, toys, and the list goes on and on. The prices are also very reasonable. I bought an extremely comfortable, fleece blanket, and quite a few clothing items that I would've probably easily paid over $100 for out the door at a regular store. I only paid about 50.
