I went to the dealership to look at some trailers. Same experience as other customers (Jen R., for example) has complained: Before letting you take a look at any trailer, they asked you a lot of questions: how you plan to use your rv/trailer, what's your planned monthly payment, etc. It has been almost half year now so I forgot the details of the questions, but it makes you feel extremely uncomfortable and makes you feel that they are in control of you. They simply don't understand that when people are starting to look for this kind of things, a lot of time they have a rough idea of what they want, but they will change as they see more units, they will eventually change their own opinions about the floor plan they want or the budget they want to spent. Giving customers enough opportunities and the relaxed atmosphere to explore different options is a key to draw customers. One question I do remember clearly is that they asked me at least three times "what's my monthly payment budget on buying a trailer". I told him not to worry about this because finance wise it is no problem for me, but he just kept asking. Asking for "maximum tolerable monthly payment" is a common trick that auto/rv sales person to deviate you from the real price of the vehicle to how much you can afford (so you are paying based on how much you can afford instead of how much this thing worth). Very shitty practice and very poor experience. read more

There was NO miscommunication,the salesman would only talk to my non disabled partner and refused to talk to me. In fact, when my partner walked away the salesman quit talking and threw his hands up in disappointment even though I was standing next to the salesman. I will not contact this scumbag manager. He is a liar and is only protecting his own interest after his salesman was discriminatory. Again buyer beware this company will screw you anyway they can and lie about it. read more

I left my new RV for warranty work and a new Awning on August 1, 2014. As of today, September 23, 2014 the work is still not completed. I have spoken with over 5 people, including the General manager, and have been given the run around. For example, being told parts have been ordered, only to find out they were not. Parts came in but are damaged, and have to be re-ordered, it will take 10 more days....nothing. This is the worst service I have ever incurred in all the years of purchasing boats, cars, and another RV. read more

Updated review - [After the sale]. Now that they have our money, its clear that we don't really matter all that much. They were great and stored our camper until we could pick it up. We called to make an apt to pick it up, confirmed the time we would be there and when we showed up the next day - they didn't have it ready. They eventually got it ready for us and were able to help us a bit, but it seems they misplaced our second set of keys and promised to contact us with a second set. Its been nearly 4 weeks now and we haven't heard back from them at all. We also found quite a bit of misc manufacturing materials in the camper and a leak in one of the water pipes that hadn't been tightened. I was excited because I thought I had found somewhere that really cared about their customers, but it seems that the caring stops once the money is handed over. They have great selection, but I would recommend being very diligent on the condition of your trailer / RV and the follow up process once your have purchased your camper. [At the sale] Chase, Dave and Dana were a great team to help us make our camping dreams. Chase was excellent at showing us around and stayed late to give us a tour of an extra trailer, Dave was friendly and made the purchase process easy to understand and Dana was the tech who walked us through all of the details for our new RPod. I went to Poulsbo RV looking for a Roadtrek Agile. The staff was friendly and treated me like family. First my salesperson Randy was very nice and was eager to make sure I was taken care of. Next was Brian in F&I he knew what I was after right away and made it happen. I did purchase a 2019 Roadtrek Agile SS My delivery with Randy and Tech Skylar. Skylar went over the coach in detail. Skylar was very patient. I asked a lot of questions to made sure I understand. He went above and beyond with a great attitude. Right before delivery I went to the parts counter and I am sorry I do not remember the parts counter persons name, but he was awesome. He recommended the parts I needed for the coach. I'm looking at the negative comments, some of the people conveyed that they were asked the same questions. I understand if people felt that the salesman was prying but to me and my husband these are excellent questions to ask to a potential buyer, but to each their own. Ok on to our review. If you are looking for the type of sleazy salesman that make you feel like you're in shark infested waters when you want to buy something, then this is not the place for you. I have never, ever had such a lowkey wonderful buying experience like this before. We are hard working people and this was a big purchase for us and while I was very apprehensive on buying (my husband was not), it was so easy and painless. :) There was no type of anyone making us feel like we needed to buy, no pushiness, no hey buy this "more expensive model" instead of what you can really afford, nothing like that at all. Our salesmen Michael and finance "whiz" Dave were very honest and forthright in what we could afford and how they could help us to afford this. We gave Michael the parameters on what we wanted and Michael showed us what he thought we needed and it worked. Excellent customer service from beginning to end. Special kudos to our service tech for giving us a very thorough and informative tour on how to work our RV. Also, we so very much appreciate your help with our "trailer hitch" issue. I have been super pleased with my experience with Poulsbo RV's Service Department. My 2015 FR V-Cross Platinum TT has spent literally weeks in the shop here throughout 2015 for poor build quality issues. I still cannot believe the POS Forest River delivered. But Scott and his team at Poulsbo RV have been diligently thorough at getting things fixed and holding the manufacturer to their warranty, which to me means accountable to their negligence. Had it not been for the excellent customer service and their genuine desire to take care of me, I don't know where I would be with this rig today. Likely in Lemon Law mitigation with Forest River. The most appreciative thing for me though, since I didn't purchase the RV here or in Washington State, is that they take care of me like I'm one of their own. Thank you Scott! Brian Gehl and Michael Ware in the service department were excellent! We purchased our new RV from Poulsbo and needed to have some warranty work done. They kept me in the loop the whole time while giving me updates as to how the process was going. At one point, they even went to bat for us with the manufacturer and the whole dealership made it right. I'm giving this rating based solely on our experience with our salesman Jeremy Cramer. From the moment he greeted me and my husband at the door- he was attentive, sincere and easygoing. He listened to our RV concerns, needs and hopes. He then showed us some options that met our criteria. He didn't try to up-sell or pressure us into looking at something outside of our checklists. We did a ton of research into the type of unit we were interested in, but still had a lot of questions. Jeremy either knew the answers or made inquiries on our behalf and shared the info that same day or the next day. When we finally decided on a unit, he took note of the things that needed fixing before our PDI. I knew he would make sure they were taken care of- and they were. He's just that kind of person- he listens and pays attention to the details. We would recommend Jeremy to our family, friends, neighbors, coworkers- pretty much anybody interested in buying a RV. He took amazing care of us and am confident he will do the same for anyone we send his way. We hope the folks in the service department are just as awesome! If they're anything like the technician (Andrew) who took care of our PDI, then I feel good about any future repairs. read more

Called three days in a row for services but kept getting voice mail and left the same message, "Call me back at (number) regarding service on my RV." Still waiting for a call from them. Update: I guess Poulsbo RV reads these reviews. Good for them! (Posting update about their services forthcoming. Hopefully, I can give a higher score.) Just after posting a negative review, I noticed there was a message to call Poulsbo RV and see what problem I had. This phone call was very pleasant, so much so that I was scheduled to bring my RV in the following day for a diagnosis of the problem. The problem was diagnosed the following day and I approved the repair cost. We received the RV back two days later. This was exceptional! I am overwhelmed by Poulsbo RV's response. Perhaps they will just fix the problem of someone leaving repeated messages with no follow-up because I feel a live person talking to a customer is much more responsive than leaving a call-back number and hoping that someone will return their call whenever it's convenient for them. read more

Very disappointed with the way they constructed business compared the multiple dealers we have been too during our buying process. Rather then having a list of what each RV cost to make things quick and easy, the sales rep had us look it up on our phone because he didn't know. He said they don't know when the RV's, go on sale until a customer usually tells them because that's the way their sales department handled things?? How are you going to sell me something when you know absolutely nothing about it?? Of course all the RV's were locked so we had to ask him to open each one that we were interested in, and then have him tell us nothing we couldn't figure out ourselves?? Not surprised now after reading the reviews. After my visit I decided to leave a comment for others (as a warning). My only comment is this, if you are a person of color, look non-white, then you will definitely be discriminated against. The sales agent kept saying he was trying to ask me questions to identify the best fit for me, yet he asked me the same questions like 3 different times. I had seen an RV I was interested in purchasing, so I drove to the Kent location. After the interaction with not only the greeter lady who looked at me up and down, and then the salesman clearly state I couldn't afford what I wanted (without him knowing me /running my information/or knowing my income). He assumed I would be unable to qualify based on visual observation, or maybe he was a racist. Either way, worst experience. Made me want to leave this comment for others. Would never buy from Poulsbo RV EVER. Especially after reading the reviews, and then my own first hand experience of being discriminated against. Took my 2014 Winnebago Via in for routine service and to have flooring repaired. (Flooring had started to lift and subsequently ripped, when slideout was used.) Corey, the Service Representative was attentive to detail, took care to ensure that the flooring repair was done expertly and even had it redone, when it did not come out well the first time. Bought an expensive RV here, sales and finance people were great. We weren't able to use our RV for awhile so it kinda sat in our driveway for a month or so. When we did get around to using, learned systems slowly as we used them and read manuals. As we used it more we decided to hook up the satellite system and bought a couple of Dish receivers from Camping World. Camping World offered to install but we decided we could do it ourselves,.... Easy right. With all the wires, we quickly found better left to an expert. So because we bought it at Poulsbo, figured they could do it best. Got an appointment and showed up to have the work done. How hard can it be to connect two receivers to existing wires. Five hours later, with patience almost gone I wandered out to see what's up. One service tech working on three coaches, I wondered how his labor was being charged. The receivers were connected, but that was it. The cabinet door holding the receivers was not replaced, inside the cabinet there was a 'birdsnest' of wires. I did not get a feeling of confidence talking to the service tech. So I decided to take what I had, paid the bill $500, and left. Every time I think of Poulsbo RV I feel disgusted. I wrote a formal letter advising my disgust to the Service Manager, never got a response. I did receive a letter from the salesman fishing for friends who might want to buy an RV. Fortunately there are other options for service work. I will write to the coach manufacturer. read more

We dealt with Steven Sullivan who worked with us figuring out the perfect Mercedes Sprinter Van for us. He was meticulous in taking down our information so he knew exactly what to show us based on our needs, activities and wants. We did settle on one model, but were not ready to purchase at this time as we're still in the researching phase. As it turns out the van we loved had just been sold, so it wouldn't have been available anyway! Long story short - This place is very disappointing to work with. The sales guys will tout how they want you to have a good experience, but as soon as you get though finance they couldn't care less about when you actually get to pick up your new RV. The story is, my Husband and I have been looking for a camper to fit a short bed truck over the past month, not the easiest thing to find. We finally found a used one that we liked at PoulsboRV and signed the papers Wednesday - Andrew (the finance guy) told us that we could take delivery on Friday. We thought perfect, no better way to celebrate our anniversary then to take our new camper out for the weekend. So my husband rushed around looking for everything we need (e.g. Turnbuckles and a pad) paying extra money just so we had them for Friday's pickup. Then on Thursday night we got the voicemail that we are not getting our camper until Tuesday. My husband tried to call and ask them if they could deliver when they said but the guys simply didn't care and said they had other things they needed to get done. Looks like another disappointed customer - should have read all the yelp ratings beforehand. read more

I was extremely unimpressed and disappointed with Poulsbo RV. Some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. We just moved to the area and needed to have 3 small issues with our Motorhome fixed. Called to make an appt for the next morning and we dropped it off and left the keys with the sales dept since service was closed, as directed. The next day late in the afternoon, we called to check in. They had not looked at it yet, said maybe they would get to it tomorrow, argued with us that no one there had admitted to even making an appt with us, and informed us that they would charge over $100 PER diagnostic (x 3). Why would we bring it in as directed if we didn't make an appt, really? But he proceeded to be rude and didn't really care. So I called around and found another RV service repair center that could guarantee to look at our RV the next day and would diagnose it for FREE. Sold! We went straight to Poulsbo RV, they barely said a word to us as they tossed us the keys, and we were out of there. We were looking to purchase a new Motorhome in the next year, and I can promise you we will never take a look at Poulsbo RV. Maybe they have some nice motorhomes on their lot, I don't know I didn't really take a look, but with their pompous attitude and disrespect for their customer I will never give them my business. read more

We agree with the earlier posts - All they want is your money. They are over priced so offer 30% less than asking and stick to it. They lie so get all material in writing, don't let them claim it is an internal use only - get the Due list and demand all items be clearly spelled out on the Due list. The salesman stated as facts things that he didn't know and kept telling tall tails about the performance of the coach. They want you to sign before you inspect it. YOU MUST MAKE any offer contingent on a test drive, etc., with all deposit fully refunded if for any reason you don't like your coach. We traded in a RV for $45K and learned from the new owner they paid $60K which included a detail of the RV and engine oil change, which it didn't need. It took less than a week to sell. Wow what a markup!!! Our emails and letters expected a full tank of fuel on a new RV. It was 1/2 a tank and when requested to fill, totally ignored. We brought our coach in with nearly a full tank and a full tank of Propane. It's all about the money for them and not the customer. The coach had a paint chip and we asked it to be fixed, talking with finance guy and was assured it was done - not so. We arrived and the chip was not fixed and the touch-up paint was not included. We also live closer to their Everett site which is where the unit was which we ended up purchasing. However, we started at the Kent headquarters and had to drive our trade in down there AND pick up the new unit down there after they put that many more miles on it. John at Roy Robinson in Maryville is a great salesman and had they had a competitive product that is where we would have bought. We should have run fast after the first visit and found the same coach at a different dealer. Recommendation is to avoid Poulsbo RV! We don't plan to ever return to the facility. read more

Do Not Use these People for Service! They take forever, don't do what they say they will and charge HUGELY INFLATED PRICES. We had a roof inspection last year and it came out fine. They also, at the same time did some minor body work at the back top end because of backing into a carport. This year, terrible leaks at the back of the roof. Right where they did the body work AND inspected the rest of the roof. At first, the service manager shook my hand and assured me they stand behind their work and all would be taken care of. Bought a new RV last year from these people. I requested a satellite antenna that would allow me to watch DirecTV well I was driving. I parked at a rest stop and turned it on. I lost the signal as soon as I drove off. The dish was in fact a auto locate dish but not a inmotion dish. I realize the inmotion is more expensive so I called them and requested that I switch and I would pay the difference and then I would get what I wanted. Their response was You signed off on it and we aren't going to do anything for you. Oh my! I went to the Poulsbo RV in Auburn and they were outstanding and jumped right on it. I'm very happy with my new satellite dish. Please, never go to the Kent Poulsbo RV. They are bad. No customer service. Auburn Poulsbo did charge me labor. I didn't like that. read more

Went to look for an RV today and received ZERO customer service. It was clear that unless we were going to buy today, they had no interest in allowing us to look at their inventory. We plan to purchase a new RV however, it will not be with this company. Sorry, sir. You are not entitled to know my income in the first 10 minutes of the conversation. Bad move on your part. Dillon in parts is great. I bought a 10 year old used motorhome and the Thor dealer, camping world, and every other vendor I called or went to, was less than helpful, and most wouldn't help at all. I only needed a couple small parts but would never buy my next motorhome, where you can't get any help after purchase or from the actual dealer. This is the difference between frustration, unknowlegable service staff, an knowing I have a firm I can get what I needed. He was polite, worked hard, and got it done. Can't ask for more on such a large expense as a motorhome. So many seemed to be overworked, understaffed and rude. One of the largest expenses I've ever invested in, and couldn't get a part for a window screen. read more

WORST experience ever! To start, it took them almost 8 weeks to get the RV ready, then once we got it and took it on our first trip, NOTHING worked. Spent 250k for the worst pile of shit. Their response was to bring it in to assess the problems and have it sit in the shop for who knows how long. They would not buy back, they would not do anything. I will never buy a thing from them again and will let everyone I know to stay away. They obviously did nothing in the 8 weeks they were so called "getting it ready" as they did not address or fix any problems and sold a faulty vehicle. read more

We got top value for our trade in, what we could have made selling it on our own. We got deliver with in 5 days, and our walk through was thorough. We bought a brand new Tiffin Allegro 33AA Red last Sept. Alex, our salesman was great!! Over the winter I developed a long list of warrantee items, most small. I scheduled my appt over a month in advance and expressed a desire to get the coach back quickly. It took over 5 1/12 weeks and not all things were repaired satisfactorily. The coach was filthy as they didn't clean up their own mess and gave some lame excuses for some items not repaired. I will now need to mess with these jokers to complete the warrantee repairs read more

I am writing this review because of the outstanding customer service we have received over the years from Mike Virkler ( Service Manager). Each time we bring our RV in for service he is pleasant, very friendly and knowledgeable. If he does'nt have the answer he gets help. The last time we brought our RV in we needed an emergency repair. The cover over our bathroom roof had come off while driving. We could not recover it. We had to put plastic up to keep rain out as a temporary solution. When we got to the dealership, Mike told us there were no service people available. He knew we had driven a distance in traffic. Returning on a different day was not an option.He told us he had the new cover and he would install it. It was more difficult then he anticipated. He had to climb up onto the roof to complete the repair. He did it with no complaint. That is Mike! We will continue to get all of our service work done at this location. K & J A. read more

Their service department sucks. Oil change took over 3 hours today. Was quoted "out the door in less than 60 minutes" when we made the appointment. Price was also more than they quotes on the phone. They made my husband miss a half day of work and sit there for over 3 hours for a stupid oil change. They could have simply told him it would be a long time and communicated like human beings, but they aren't that intelligent either from what we can tell from interactions with their staff- top to bottom. They were also supposed to fix and order a part for a broken headlight-- which they didn't do. We complained, and got a call from the "manager" who did pretty much nothing other than offer lazy excuses on why it took THREE hours. Instead of making things better by being given the opportunity to call us, he actually made it worse. Would have been better to not call us at all, buddy. Won't be back. Never ever giving them another dime of our money. They should be ashamed to call themselves a "service" department. Wish we could give them ZERO stars.
