Fire pits on the patio, bar, open tables, and friendly staff.

Upon entry, my server Kaylee greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile. After showing me to my table, she gave great suggestions from the menu. For an appetizer, I chose the deviled eggs. It was a nice presentation of a hard boiled egg white that was then deep fried then filled with a creamy yolk however, it lacked flavor. For my meal, I chose the Mushroom smash burger and it was the complete opposite. It was full of flavor and came with a side of seasoned fries. I will return again for a different menu item and the very friendly service from Kaylee.

Clean, large airy dining room with a sports bar vibe. Service was great! Food was good. Very relaxed casual atmosphere.

Meatloaf Sammie and Orings. Pickle and bbq sauce

I got the meatloaf Sammie. I say this not out of spite but it was bland. Had one bite with poblano which was the best bite. Barely had any slaw and it was tasteless. Could've use some grilled onions or something to flavor it up and more peppers. The onion rings are some of the best I've had. All in all I will still order from pour fellows and try more on the menu.

PF's delicious smash burger and fries!

Was going to write a review the first time we came here for lunch, but third times a charm! Dang! The PF's Smash Burger is sooo good! Not greasy, perfectly smashed, cooked to perfection and I love the chopped onions in the burgers! Many compliments to the chef(s)! The fries are def my kinda fries...crispy on the outside and lightly salted/peppered. A little ranch dressing for dipping and mmm-mmm good! Can't really comment about the inside of the restaurant because we have sat outside under their covered patio all three times...so lovely! Lots of seating and fire pit tables to keep everyone warm during cooler temperatures. Service has always been excellent. Be sure to check them out...highly recommend!

    BBBLT with Fries

Husband and I had lunch here for the first time. Dark, sports bar interior. Friendly staff. We had the BBBLT sandwich with fries. I was eager to dive into this sandwich when it arrived. Although it was good, my husband and I had different opinions. He liked that it plenty of bacon, as the menu stated. My reaction was that it was just okay. Why? The sandwich was a little spicy. I wish this was stated on the menu as I would have tried something else. After several bites, all I tasted was spicy. I ended up letting my husband eat the last half of my sandwich. The fries are coated and seasoned. They are very good. We both said we'd eat here again. Husband said he would order the BBBLT again. I will not. But the menu is large and there were several items I'd like to try.

Deviled eggs, great concept, poor execution...

We came by for lunch and some drinks. The tap beer list is quite disappointing with only about 6 brews with Coors and Coors Light being two of them. The wife ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich which was battered chicken strips that (as she put it) didn't remind her of buffalo chicken. She actually added Tabasco for added spice. I got the smoked beef sandwich which arrived lightly toasted and well dressed with both horseradish and truffle aiolis. The beef was nice and tender but for 15$ kinda lacked substance and smoke flavor. The fries and onion rings were very good and well seasoned.

The marinara sauce it came with was extremely bland it tasted like tomato paste with no seasoning. The caesar salad on the other hand was amazing. It came with a lot of chicken and the croutons were fresh. For an entree we split the Reuben. The reuben and fries were slightly above average quality wise. The meat was fresh but it could've used more thousand island dressing. Overall this place was pretty average. It was a nice little stop on our road trip. The food wasn't bad by any means but I would come here if you're looking for middle of the line food with a menu with lots of options.

My wife and I were passing through town for the night and just looking for somewhere near the Colorado National Monument to kill an hour. Handlebar Tap House turned out to be exactly what we needed. A lot of places claim to have a great beer selection, but end up pouring the same tired distribution kegs week after week. Not here. They run 24 rotating handles, and whoever is doing the ordering actually gives a damn about curating a balanced board. I was stoked to see they had a special local collaboration beer on tap called The Ocho. They brewed it up with the folks over at WestCo Brewing to celebrate their eighth anniversary, and it is a phenomenal, juicy IPA. The pour was absolutely spot on, complete with a perfect two-finger head that left thick lacing all the way down the glass. The hop profile was incredibly bold and fruit-forward. We were really only planning on grabbing that quick beer, but we caved and ordered the beer-battered cheese curds. I can be pretty picky about bar snacks, especially when trying to save room for a big meal later. Most of the time, fried cheese is just a heavy, greasy mess where the breading completely overwhelms the actual dairy. These were a massive surprise. The beer batter is light and super crisp, practically shattering right when you bite into it. It gives way to a perfect, hot, melty pull while somehow still keeping a bit of that authentic cheese curd squeak. We polished off the entire basket in minutes. The atmosphere hits that sweet spot between a lively local joint and a relaxed gastropub. The service was fast, which is crucial when you are watching the clock for dinner reservations, and the bartender actually knew the tap list inside and out. The whole vibe is completely unpretentious. It is just a proper pub doing exactly what it should. If our travels ever bring us back through Grand Junction, I will definitely be stopping in again.
