They have a variety of finger food and salads. Food is good and something to eat. Limited shelf bar, but they have your basics and red and white wine. Prices were reasonable, but not cheap. Went for the first time Sunday for a date. The food was amazing and all for a very affordable price! The Crab Dip was addicting. The Big Bang Shrimp was busting with flavor. And the Bistro Burger was nothing I've ever tasted in a regular burger before with its bacon jam. (I added fried egg to my burger to make it more of a brunch special.) On top of great food, the service was just as equally awesome! Our waitress was sweet and down to earth. And we got to meet the owner too who seemed hard-working and humble, making sure we were good all the way up until the end. Will 1000% be back for a round 2 to try more of the menu. read more

My parents are very fond of the corner bistro for drinks and dinner. It's awesome this place is in town, which is unlike a lot of the other restaurants. I had a plain vodka Moscow mule, although they offer them with flavored vodka. I was a little hesitant to mix ginger beer with a flavor, but it was recommended by everyone I asked after I ordered. My mom has the cucumber mojito, which I sipped and loved! My dad tries a different beer almost every time we go in and is consistently impressed with the variety. For dinner, I had the Ultimate Turkey sandwich! Aside that I missed it had mayonnaise on it, I loved it! It's a little sweet and salty so a great combination. The fries were good. So I was at the golf course on business on a Sunday when I caught a glance of the brunch menu at The Corner Bistro. Everything look pretty decent and the prices were very reasonable. So I left the club and went home to grab my family to take them to brunch. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the lovely weather and my wife and I sipped on a couple of mimosas. My kids had chicken tenders and fries while I ordered up a 6oz cheese burger topped with bacon and a fried egg. The food, drinks, the prices and scenery were on point. We loved it. Definitely a little diamond in the ruff sitting their in Hampton. BTW, they have this house sauce that I used fir dipping my fries. CRACK!! read more

Basically something for anyone here. I usually try the specials, or something from the menu that I haven't tied before, but I have to admit, their burger with the bacon jam is probably my favorite burger around. If I'm in the mood for a burger, that is the one that comes to mind first! This place shocked me. The food was so good! The bang shrimp was perfectly fried. My mom had the fried chicken salad and said it was delicious. I had the Italian sub and it was one of the best I've ever had!! The service was great and the view of the golf course was amazing. The scene: Sat 930a. I review the menu as we're on our way. I decide to call because Google says open and Yelp says closed. A man answers the businesses phone, I ask if we need a reservation--top of their menu says call ahead for reservations--his response "we're not that kind of place and yes we're open". I end the call and decide to focus on the amazing reviews rather than his tone of irritation and disinterest. We park and walk in, two men are getting drinks at the bar on their way out too . Outside of them and us, the lounge area is completely empty and silent. There's a single man behind the bar, two braids in his goatee, tall, lean, glasses--I'm describing him because of my negative experience and interactions with him. He stares at us, either wordless or presenting such little effort in communicating that my partner had to initiate the conversation, mentioning how we're looking for breakfast. The response was "we don't serve breakfast". Frustrated now, I said "online it says you're open 9a-3p and you serve breakfast, I'm confused?" His response you wonder? He shook his head and said "we're operating on a very limited menu". I thanked him because my mother raised me right, and we walked out. Been here twice in the last week, and both times were great! Food was delicious and they have a good variety of beer offered. So far, I've tried the Shaolin Chicken Sandwich, fish tacos, Red Pepper Tomato Soup, and Chicken Salad Sandwich. All were great, and I highly recommend! This area has needed a specialty bistro like this. They have a limited menu because they only serve the best foods and variety is an easy trade for quality. I've now had everything on their menu and many of their specials. I recommend you eat the specials because they are often seasonal and will not make the regular menu. The most professional service I've ever experienced and the beer selection and drink specials are second to none. They recently started serving a Sunday brunch and while I haven't tried everything on that menu, what I have tried is the best gourmet food for offer. The specialty Bloody Mary drinks are really appetizers bordering on meals and the specialty brunch beverages target a wide audience. The Corner Bistro & Catering is a small but intimate dining environment. Myself and a friend had lunch today. The service was very friendly and prompt. They didn't seem very busy. It is located underneath an apartment complex and you cannot see it from the street. You definitely have to search for the venue. I found it on Yelp. My girlfriend got the special which was shrimp and grits. The appearance was tasteful and sleek. It came with mixed wax beans and cornbread. The main dish had bell peppers and sausage as well. Once all mixed together, the dish was very flavorful. The cornbread was not authentic cornbread as it was a cakey cornbread. I ordered the CBLT. It was very delicious and flavorful. It had two thin chicken breast filets that were seasoned very well. The cheese makes the sandwich though. It came with their seasoned fries. They were thick cut and crispy. Well cooked! Overall good choice for lunch. They have a variety of alcoholic beverages. They have a variety of different "Mule" drinks sponsored by "Deep Eddy Vodka". My lunch favorite is the Tee's Turkey Sandwich (Thanksgiving in July) and soup combo. Great serving size, sufficient but won't leave you in a food coma when you return to work. This place is ridiculous. The first few times we went were pretty good. The last couple were terrible. We went in today for brunch and it took over an hour for the server to come over to inform us that our order was just being started. At that time I asked for another drink. After 20 minutes of waiting for it I cancelled it. Ten minutes later it was brought over. When the food finally came it was barely luke warm. I let someone know and he was very apologetic and did comp the bill. Awesome little bistro. I had the ultimate turkey sandwich. It reminds me of Thanksgiving left overs and its perfect! My fiancé had the bistro burger. He orders burgers all over town and said that this is his new favorite. He loved the relish that was on it and the sauce. He said it has his favorite kind of bun as well. We will certainly be back to sample the whisky and appetizers during happy hour. The service was prompt and polite, and the restaurant was clean and fresh feeling. Excellent! Everything I have had here has been delicious. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you can tell everyone enjoys working at the bistro. From the Ultimate Turkey sandwich, Fried Cod sandwich special, Chilli and Grilled Cheese, shrimp and grits, and the soon to be famous Bistro Burger, everything was seasoned to perfection and cooked perfectly. The smoked chicken wings were great! I love dry wings so I got a sauce on the side. My husband got the penne Alfredo and the sauce was one of the best Alfredo sauces I've ever had at a restaurant. He also had the French onion soup. The soup was mediocre. The cheese should have been a little toasted on the top and maybe seasoned a little more. Not many onions either. My daughter got the meatloaf and it was pretty tasty. The gravy was a little different but not in a bad way. The dish could have been a little warmer though. The side of spinach she had was garlic flavored and delicious. My youngest had the grilled cheese and chips. Not hard to mess up. It was also good and the chips were kettle. Over all the dinner was great. I gave only 4 stars though because after ordering the broccoli with the meatloaf, the waiter came back to say they needed to save the broccoli for the special so she needed to pick another side. Although I appreciated the honesty, he could have just said they were out or knew it before we ordered. Communication with the kitchen is essential for a smoothly run restaurant. Overall I would recommend it. The layout is a little different and the table closest to the bathroom should be separated better from the one toilet bathroom. read more
