Myself and a group of friends were in town for the weekend and checked out many different bars and this one was one of my favorites. It was such a fun atmosphere as they had a variety of games to play such as darts, giant operation,golf pong, Simon, connect four and much more. It was like traveling back to my childhood with adult sized games. My only complaint was the sangria I had. It tasted like apple juice and just was not good. I just want to start off by saying, I've never had any issues with Pour Larry's and I actually like it. Not my first time going , been there several times and enjoy it but I happened to have a bad altercation with a certain security guard while there the other night. As soon as I enter I head straight to the restrooms. While waiting someone got locked into one of the bathrooms bc there wasn't a handle, so security came and got them out. So they block it off with a trash can. Im in the need of a really bad piss. So, I asked my friend to just watch it while I'll go in and use it..... bc it's just the lock that's messed up nothing else. Not thinking it'll do much harm. Soon as I try to remove the trash can, the security guard starts yelling, barging in my direction "YOUR NOT ALLOWED IN THERE, YOU SEE THE TRASH CAN !" Let me mention this man is not small, he is 6'2 body builder built, bald, bearded younger man, very intimidating ! I try to explain to him, that it's just the lock and I wanted to use it just real quick. He wasn't not having it continuing to harass me. When I was just trying to explain to him. I say, You need to chill and back up. And put my hand up He looks me in the face and says, YOUR A BITCH ! And try's to walk away. I immediately react, exchanging words which resulted in me getting kicked out, bc I felt that was just unnecessary. Thankfully I was refunded. Which is very professional to me bc they didn't have to do that at all but I was in there only 5 mins. and I wasn't drunk. I liked Pour Larry's, however I think the security guard could of handled in a better manner instead of being disrespectful over a bathroom. He took advantage of his job positioning and tried to be little me, which was insane. If there had been a man with me he would of never said or did what he had done. I have thought about calling making complaint, just bc it was very very unprofessional how he handled it as his job and embarrassed me. read more

How is it that no one recommend it to us?!?!? By far our favorite bar in all of Savannah that we tried. Tuesday's are BOGO on everything! Fun games fill this place to keep your drunk self entertained. Board games, giant Jenga, operation and connect four! Please check this place out! I can't remember the bartenders name (I'm wanting to say it's something with an M) but he was fabulous! Even got shots for us while we played games, recommended things to do in town, real down to earth and great to talk to! I'm so serious when I say you HAVE to check this place out!!! Pour Larry's is a fun, underground bar in the middle of City Market. The security team, management, and bar staff were all very welcoming when we walked down. There were a variety of games to play and we were able to request our favorite songs with DJ Savage. When you check it out ask for Brian, he is one of the nicest bartenders/security guys there! Always a favorite when going downtown Savannah. The bartenders are fantastic and are great at offering suggestions. Ivory did an amazing job of making some of his own recipes for me to try, saving me from having to decide. Highly recommend for locals and tourists alike. The highlight of the night was the cute bartender that was at the bar closest to the entrance. My buddy kept buying shots from her lol we came on a night where they were playing some classic Hip-Hop, so the music and vibe was nice. Rude staff. Staff cannot read signs. Example: sign reads "3 dollar bud light" . I get charged 6 dollars. I explain to staff, he is illiterate. Wonderful. Ufc fights are fun. Games fun. My bf and I went in to have a drink and omg I fell in love with this bar! You have to walk downstairs like you are going into a basement so I was sketched out at first. Once I got to the the bar area I was in love! They have various games throughout the bar for you to play such as jenga, checkers, ring toss, you name it! The bartender was super sweet. Made jokes about drugging us (wtf?) and then tried to convince my friend to have a threesome with him and his spouse. This is cool spot to hang out with for some time and play some games. They have dart boards, arcade games, board games and more. The bar is small and it gets pretty full but to be expected for a downtown savannah bar. It's got multiple rooms so it's easy to get away from the crowds if you need to but still have different games to play with.
