Dive bar vibes, with some fun games scattered around and on the tables. The bartender was friendly but not overbearing. The drinks they have listed are definitely more on the sweeter and more main stream but reasonably priced. It seems like a great spot to host big groups for a night out, bachelorette or bachelor parties. We sat at the bar to watch a game but didn't try any food.

This was unfortunately the middle stop on our pub crawl. Unfortunate because being the middle it was less memorable in almost every way. The drink was okay, the only food was a bag of popcorn we brought with, the service was good, but there's no ambiance to speak of, and we pretty much just got in and out.

Kind of a typical college bar reminiscent of rocket bar in Washington DC. Arguably one of the best places to get games and play and stay busy while you drink. They had darts beer pong, some weird putting game, as well as board games like connect four, trouble,sorry, and Simon, which ended up being pretty fun lol. We hung out here as soon as they opened and some of the first people in we played darts which required us to give the bartender ID, but were free to play, and then moved over to some of the other random games throughout the basement highly recommend checking out if you're someone that likes to stay busy while you're drinking and on vacation. Great service, reasonable prices overall awesome atmosphere.

GREAT BASEMENT DIVE BAR!! Came here for a phenomenal happy hour around noon on a Tuesday (across from the Prohibition Museum, which is an awesome tour). I think it was 2 for 1 drinks, which is unheard of these days. The two employees were the nicest employees we encountered in our week trip to the South. Very, very nice people. They asked us where we were from, gave us advice on places to visit, and made for great conversation. Can't say enough nice things about them.

This is a super fun place to go! A group of us went here on our underground bar crawl. There are so many things to do. They have games all over. They have large and small connect four, beer pong and giant jenga. They also have this game where you have to move this wand with a metal ring on the end of it without touching a wavy metal bar or a light will go off. There was also a fun two person game where one stand on one side and one side on the other. There are five see thru bars that light up. When the light goes out you have to be the first to grab the bar. So much fun. They have a nice range of draft and canned/bottled beers. There is also a large charging station for your phone!

This bar was our 4th stop on our Savannah Bar Crawl. So we did not order any food, but the drinks were really good. The bartender were very fast for the amount our people that walked in. They are also super friendly, and give good recommendations. The bar is very clean inside , and great space.

Great bar! Allowed our boxer to come in and chill out with us Lots of fun bar-type activities to keep people entertained! One of the several underground bars in Savannah. One of 2 five bars out of the lot. It was cool because they had games to play on all the tables. Don't expect the bartender to know how to make anything other than the basics. Husband liked the beer choices.

This underground bar and atmosphere is cool... Dive bar sums it up. Located in Savannah's downtown strip, it's one of several spots in the area with plenty of drinks on hand along with games to play while you get lit!!! The ring toss is the funniest to watch with people twisted because once they hit it, they act like they won a $1M Lottery!! This is a fun spot to swing thru for drinks and if you get caught in the ran, run and duck here!

I'm going to start off with the good...the drink was strong and great! But while i was waiting at the bar for my boyfriend, the two female bartenders were rude and honestly made me uncomfortable. They basically told me i was not welcome, my boyfriend ended up leaving a tip and I told him the specific words they spoke to me and he said he would never go back again. So we have been avoiding it, which is easy in savannah Georgia. Overall there are way better places to eat/drink read more

This is literally the best dive bar i have ever been to!! The service is great! Ask for jessica or vicky!! Both amazing bar tenders and always great conversation! I came in Saturday night and the service was excellent. I have worked in the service industry, and from my experience it was busier than usual. I haven't really been out in savannah ga in awhile, but I revisited and I was not disappointed. Nikki, my bartender, was so awesome and sweet and definitely made sure i was taken care of. She made sure I had everything I needed and really made me want to stay and hangout despite the fact im not put a lot and I'm and early riser! Lol! I ended up spending more money than I wanted to but experience was totally worth it! read more

This place was empty. But it may have been because I was in the bar so early. I went around 8 pm. Traffic to get to this bar was terrible. I was waiting forever to get a parking place. Once my friends and I got it we went to the bar and got a couple drinks. I had a blue mo fo. That thing was so strong it was crazy. If you want to get hammered, go there! My favorite part was the oversized games that they had there. They had connect 4 and jenga. I won 1 game and lost 1...! I will go again just for the games say least. read more

I'm definitely too old for this place anymore. It's a basement bar that's pretty dirty. Service was great (hence the higher star rating). I love dive bars, but I think this is one I've grown out of - felt like the frat houses in college - shamefully drinking in a basement LOL read more

Unless you enjoy being harassed by homeless people or are looking to buy some acid, there is no reason whatsoever to set foot anywhere near this bar. Sketchy owners, sketchy customers, and warm beer; you can find more class (and cleanliness!) in a strip club. The homemade apple pie shots are good, but unless you own a HAZMAT suit, steer clear of Pour Larry's! read more

Pour Larry is a pretty good bar if your looking for a place to hang out and chill. They occasionally have live music which is pretty good. But, the best part of this bar is that no matter what game you want to watch they will more than likely have it on! read more

Service was TERRIBLE! This stop was apart of a haunted pub crawl and while the history was lovely, I was disgusted by the service. The bartenders didn't acknowledge my sister and I until after they served several individuals that arrived after we did. I refuse to not leave a tip as is that is a waiter/bartenders livelihood, however the staff did not rightfully earn their tips this evening! read more

Bartenders were busting their tails, made AWESOME drinks, (their lemon drop shot and margaritas were fantastic,) prices were reasonable, and the two guys that were singing live were awesome, I could have have listened to them all night! Loved this little dive and plan on returning! read more

My fiancé and I went because they were one of the few bars carrying the UFC fight which we really appreciated. Outside of that, I wouldn't go back. It was loud and overly expensive. The drinks are cold but the crowd is pretty rowdy and not great to watch a fight with if you actually want to hear it. read more

There is no need for the bouncer to be so rude. I get it. Tons of college idiots roaming around. But when I walk up clearly pregnant with my husband and get crap for my ID not looking like me...Really? So it's that my face looks fat now? The real reason I was walking into this disgusting, sticky floored dive was in hopes of getting a non-alcoholic beverage and to be able to use the rest room. Wet Willies a few doors down didnt have any non alcoholic options. But the level of disrespect was uncalled for. If you have an issue with my ID then call the cops. I'll gladly let them verify it for you. Luckily after giving me a hard time, we were both admitted entrance and I used the restroom and we bounced. I was in there long enough to observe how foul the entire place. What is this NYC? Boston? I'm from the northeast and that's where I expect men to be downright rude and hateful toward women. But the south?? Savannah, GA? God help us all. Save your money and your life by skipping this one. Wet Willies was clean, immaculate, and the staff at least were friendly. Pour Larry, poor you. Truly the BEST BAR in SAVANNAH!! Every bartender at the establishment was friendly and can make some GREAT drinks. Service was the best we had the entire weekend we were in town! We bar hopped and the bartenders at this establishment just stuck out to me. We come to Savannah a few times a year and I am excited to come back to this place. I have no idea what is wrong with the bouncer at this bar. I went to go buy a drink and he didn't believe that I was the person on my ID... (i have a South Carolina id by the way) when i asked for it back he wouldn't even give it to me until i got the police involved. The manager came out offering me free stuff that no one would ever want but this place is just rediculous. I wouldn't come if my 80 year old grandmother had her birthday there... read more

Wow. Where do I begin?? Mouse turd in the water, the special was creole shrimp over grits with a side of collard greens. Don't even. The shrimp was fishy tasting, the grits had no taste or flavor, the collard greens were way over cooked and had no taste. We had an appetizer that was edible, but nothing special. We stumbled in to this basement bar. The bartenders were wonderful so I'm not sure about the negtive reviews. They had some live music that was AWESOME! The drinks were nice and cold. The only negative was they didn't have scotch which is my husband's choice. Other than that I would recommend it read more

The Moscow mules were also tasty and extra brownie points for being served in a copper mug! Tasty place no matter what you order on the menu!

Cute food truck and signs were very understandable and you got to add on or take off what you didn't want on your burger. They don't have fries so if you are a burger and fry person they don't have a fryer on sight.

Saigon Cafe on Waters Ave. closed, and that was the last place I knew in Savannah that served that exquisite, clear soup. I always get chicken soup (pho ga). The new owners are doing good work, but I'd been spoiled. The broth doesn't have the depth, and it isn't hot enough. It's gotta come smoking, fogging glasses, clearing sinuses. But Boomy's brings the broth. I've been there two or three times, and it's my new pho go-to. The noodles are wider than At Saigon Cafe, but that's fine; they hold their bite longer without getting mushy. Please note: Boomy's is a bar on Congress Street in Downtown Savannah. It's wheelchair accessible and laid back. A Dad out with his two young boys asked if one kid could use the bathroom and was welcomed ... no purchase, no hesitation. And a lady in a wheelchair with her companion and her dog ducked in for a soft drink and a rest. Everyone's welcome. Nothing about its façade or dive-bar vibe suggests it serves bangin' Vietnamese food. Waitstaff is quick to show you the burger menu on the back, in case pho isn't your jam. Because they serve Thai food as well, they're careful to have you choose your heat level. They're happy to give you pepper flakes on the side and Sriracha at the table. But my pho didn't need it. My lunch companion got the rare beef pho. The hot soup came with thin slices of beef wrapping in foil on the side. Drop it in and it cooks. Looked delicious. My pho ga was amazing. I rarely can eat it all, but I did that day. My only minor complaint is that the bean sprouts looked a little less than fresh, but I'm not a big fan of them in soup anyway. Didn't slow me up one bit. But I AM a big fan of their cucumber and tomato salad. Cukes, chopped tomatoes, grated carrots, and maybe grated radish were all dressed with fish sauce, maybe rice vinegar, and a little sugar. If I'd had some cilantro I would have added it; cilantro is expensive these days. Can't blame them for not including it. It may be available by request. Oh, and try the cocktails. I had the tequila cooler and subbed watermelon vodka for cucumber vodka. So refreshing. Go to Boomy's. Get there on one of the few remaining cool days of spring. Or if you come down with a spring cold. Or if you work downtown in an office meat locker, go to warm up from the inside out. It's worth the hunt for parking.

This said, I do think there is inconsistency based on staff at the restaurant. On one occasion they have accommodated a request, and on another I was denied the exact same request. I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Overall- it's good food, decent ambiance... but there are soooo many good options in Savannah. You have to be exceptional to stand out in that city.

My wife and I have been to Savannah a many of times, and have never had such a good experience as this time. We stumbled down to Pour Larry's this Saturday and had an amazing time, and met THE BEST bartender, hands down, we've ever encountered. Kamie was the nicest, friendliest bartender, or even local we've ever met. And she knows how to make one hell of a drink! So sad to see her leaving, but looks like we've got a new vacation spot in Alabama to visit her at the next bar she 'tends at!
