Oh I live for spots like this! A small, family-owned business where everything is fresh and homemade. The vibe is so warm and welcoming when you walk in. They are always supporting the community and donating $$ to local causes/charities. It's hard not to love and support a business like this. I usually order a breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg & cheese) on an onion bagel or I get the onion bagel with one of their homemade spreads, like the bacon scallion cream cheese. I really like their coffee too. They have a lot of flavors to choose from and I love all of the ones I've tried so far. They also serve lunch which I'm looking forward to trying next! Great little award-winning cafe in South Weymouth with very personable staff. They have many breakfast and lunch sandwiches and a nice seating area in which to eat them. They're probably best known for their Irish soda bread, available all year long, not just St. Patrick's Day. This morning I tried a Finnish pastry that's sort of like a cinnamon roll without the cinnamon. It had a slight lemon nuance, and the dough was soft and light. I liked it because it was sweet, but not cloyingly so. The server recommended heating it in the microwave for 15/20 seconds, then cutting the pastry in half. You can find a variety of baked goods, delicatessens, and many kinds of drinks. The decor is very nice, and it feels generally welcoming and comfortable. There's also several sanitary accommodations like sneeze shields, hand sanitizer, n other precautions if u look around to take notice. This place is actually a vintage location, n has roots in the culture of the 1800s, but has kept up with the times. I come here often to grab breakfast sandwiches (which are the best around) or lunch at least once a week. Everything is always awesome and the staff is super helpful and always friendly. Tourist in town. Googled for a place for breakfast and found Ma Reilly's. I walked into a homey feel. The staff greeted me with smiles and was very patient with my questions. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, irish sausage, and egg on an onion bagel. Bagel was toasted perfectly, crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The sausages were not salty and paired well with the egg. It was very filling. I also got some scones and a crumble cake to go. I'm glad I found this place. read more

I love the variety of baked goodies and sandwiches they offer. The staff is always so cheerful. They are very helpful in explaining the different flavors offered that day, as they do change based on what Linda wants to make that day. You can also purchase packaged items, many that come directly from Ireland. There's even a small seating area where you can sit and sip your drink before heading out for the day. Would you look at this place?! No Lays or Cokes or Wonder Bread, instead favoring classic snacks from the UK. And cans of beans, because obviously. But I only had eyes for the baked goods. A bit picked over at 11am, there were still a bundle of raspberry hand pies and hecklers, a treat billed as "a cinnamon roll meets a croissant." Flaky and cinnamony under an opaque glaze? Gotta get one for the wife. Iced coffees aren't cold brewed, but they're made with New England Coffee and their myriad of flavors, rotating daily. The lovely gal behind the counter held my naive hand through what was available, how much milk I wanted, what sweeteners they had (yay for stevia!) and finally gauging the drink's color, which hit me as being extra attentive. Had I overmilked, she would have started over. Wish I could say they same about my exes... heyo! End result: a great iced, and fairly tasty pastries. Hand pie won - wait for it - hands down, with a copiously abundant raspberry jam, floral and not overly sweet, made perfect with a light toasting. The heckler, though, just didn't do it for us. It looked like a roll, but the cinnamon was a non-factor and the glaze was only okay. So, imagine a coffee roll with the texture of an oil croissant. Maybe it was a flakey fluke, who knows? I recently went here to grab breakfast and ordered a sausage, egg and cheese on a sesame bagel and a grilled blueberry muffin. For a drink, I got an iced tea. The breakfast sandwich and iced tea was good but what really surprised me was the grilled blueberry muffin. The blueberry muffin was full of plump blueberries and moist. After moving to the area about 6 years ago, we started going here a couple times a week for coffee and a breakfast sandwich after checking out some other subpar places nearby. This place was our go to and we made sure everyone knew about it so they could get awesome sandwiches, breakfast, and coffee. I couldn't say enough about how much we loved this place over the years. Unfortunately, as their business has grown so much and gotten so much busier, quality has seriously declined. My few most recent visits left me quite disappointed. Egg and cheese sandwiches served cold, not even warm on the inside... how? Orders consistently incorrect, or just simply not made, so I have to say something to remind them. Then I get questions from the cashier asking about whether or not I'm sure I didn't get the order yet. This has happened twice. Edit 6 months later: Started going back, and have enjoyed the super fresh pastries and coffee. This is a great little sandwich and coffee shop. The owner, most days, in right in the shop, she knows her regulars, she is very friendly and creates a warm inviting atmosphere. They serve nice hand made sandwiches, many options from cold cut meats to straight veggie only options. This place is fun to bring kids, it is right near the commuter rail trail tracks, so if your kid likes trains, sit and eat, usually a train will pass within the hour. They also have a great selection of baked goods that are freshly baked every day. This includes scones, coffee rolls, cinnamon rolls, muffins, assorted fruit and more! The staff is super friendly, and always makes my latte perfectly, no matter who it is, and if it is not correct they will remake it! Along with the great staff, the owner Linda, is awesome!
