The food was really good. The Happy Hour Menu was great. The Old fashioned Could be better. The service was fantastic, very attentive and accommodating. The Ambiance is relaxed and warm. If you are in Vancouver, definitely stop by

Located across from the historic Gastown Steam clock, it's worth a visit. Elevated bar food with decent GF options. Solid happy hour menu (try their scotch egg which they are known for+ a nice fennel flavor) and on the regular menu, the chicken tenders were finger licking good. Drinks were tasty, as the clover club and espresso martini did not disappoint. Service was friendly, but were hesitant on substituting items (although were able too).

Scotch eggs were just pure bliss. Crunchy outside with a juicy inside. Egg is not overwhelming and folds itself in to the flavors perfectly. I also tried the pourhouse burger. It is pricy, but man oh man was it delectable. Juicy, medium rare, just a great great burger that is well worth the price. The crab cakes are small but a great way to start the meal. They are not fried, more of a cream texture. Vibrant crab flavor. Pro tip: tell your server to bring the food out as it's ready so you can space out each item nice and hot.

Great chill atmosphere. Very old building. We got the lunch special that comes with a burger, fries salad and a drink for 20 bucks not too bad. Friendly service . Check out this place when you're in town.

Ambiance: vibey with live music for a Sunday night Drink: Amaro Long Island ice tea - tasty with an after taste I can't quite put my finger on but overall pretty good and doesn't taste like a Saturday night binge Food: steak frites - got the steak medium rare, came out perfectly. The fries were amazing and abundant--couldn't finish them all in one sitting. Tried both the au jus sauce and peppercorn sauce and they were okay with the steak but overall I preferred the simple taste of the steak alone. The coarse salt on top was the only touch it needed Overall amazing meal and experience. Will definitely be back

Great vibes! Feels big due to the layout but it's actually a cozy nook. The cocktail menu and knowledge staff really elevate this place - vast array of drinks to choose from. Food menu is lean, but quality. Three burger options. A few salads. Snacks. Appy. Spaghetti. The burgers were EXCELLENT. My Gastown Double was melt in your mouth patty with delicious bacon and cheese. Overall, just a great vibe and a well run establishment. Solid date night / casual dinner spot.

I have loved Pourhouse for a long time, but as of late they're definitely not the same anymore. Their burgers are still great, especially the Pourhouse burger. The pork belly and whole grain mustard are a great touch, with a hefty pickle on the side for pickle-lovers like myself. However, the other menu items are not as remarkable. I ordered the fish and chips and it was probably the only time in my life I was served a fried fish on the dark side of brown--and it tasted like it too. The portobello burger that my vegetarian mother ordered, while I appreciate its inclusion to the menu for vegetarians, was also off the mark. I think the original allure of the restaurant for its upscale burger/pub vibe is a beautiful concept, but it's not executed as cleanly as I'd like.

We came in on a Friday night without reservations, and ended up getting a table right away. Great location in the Gastown neighborhood. The vibes here are exactly what I would expect from a Vancouver restaurant, dark and moody but comfortable and slightly upscale. We ordered cocktails and Bulls in a Blanket appetizer, which were delicious! The everything bagel seasoning and wagyu hotdog were a great combo. For dinner, I had the steak frites. Steak was cooked perfectly to order, and fries were crisp and seasoned well. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Service was a bit slow. It took about 8 minutes from the time we sat down until someone came over with water and to greet us. The food was delicious. I do wish the burger patty on the happy hour smash burger was a bit bigger to cover the entire surface of the bun but for $10 it wasn't a bad deal. The truffle tater tots were the highlight of the meal though! We sat outside on their patio which overlooks the gastown steam clock and got to watch it go off. It's also dog friendly. The inside wasn't busy either which was surprising given it was a Saturday, happy hour and there were 3 cruise ships in the terminal. Overall, I will be back to try more items and also for those truffle tater tots.

One of my favorite spots in BC. Had to write a review this time. A cozy, beautiful place with the best comfort food. The Scotch egg always draws me back, but the service and flavorful menu keeps me coming back for more.

Espresso Martini! So smooth! One of the best I've had :)

Pourhouse is a gem in the gas town area! Not only is it beautiful on the inside- it has great service and a warm armoshpere. If you're looking for a nice drink and a place to chat this is your place! I will admit the food was all a bit salty but they tasted great and would've been perfect with beer (we had cocktails mostly unfortunately). Highly recommend getting the tater tots! Overall great place, great food, great drinks, and great vibes!

What a wonderful place for a special dinner. We were wandering around Gastown and luckily stumbled upon this place right next to the parking garage we were in. We were quickly seated at a quiet table in the bar. The cocktail menu is amazing - so many choices to pick from, and you really can't go wrong. Everyone was ordering the huge plate of olives so we had to. I love olives and these were buttery and not super salty. The burrata appetizer was fresh and delicious. And since it was our anniversary we splurged and got the tomahawk to share. It was perfectly done, with compound butter, sprouts and broccolini on the side. Definitely recommend for a nice night out. The next time we will come for the burger and tots everyone was raving about!

We came here for their famous cocktails and the scotch egg. We taste Sazerac, Old Cuban, New York Sour, and Ashton Lane. Overall a nice place to spend time in, but a bit pricy. Do not forget you come here for good quality cocktails. Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Price: 4/5

We came here for a Winnie the Pooh Afternoon Tea. Oh my goodness...it far exceeded my expectations!…read moreHats off to the kitchen staff for coming up with such a creative and whimsical afternoon tea. First thing that caught my eye was the cover of the afternoon tea menu. It was red with a picture of Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin printed upon it in a shiny gold colour. When flipped over, it had the menu for the afternoon tea printed upon it. I was super impressed that they even had a separate menu printed for Vegetarians. (I opted for a Vegetarian menu). There was a cute little ceramic jar that was shaped like a Honey pot, and it had sugar cubes in it! Then there was this booklet that was pages long, and divided into Chapters. It was basically the menu again, but in the form of a small book. Each Chapter of the book described different foods from the afternoon tea. The last chapter listed all the different tea flavors one could choose. When we sat down and read this menu, I heard more than one person at the table say that they wanted to take this menu home. Guess what? For the price of $25, one could take this menu home as a memento of this extraordinary afternoon tea? Maybe I'm a bit of a sucker, but how often does one get to go to an afternoon tea as special as this? And I've always been a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh. So I coughed up the $25 and brought one of these menus home with us! Food was sooo good. I loved how warm the scone was when I cut it open. This was one of my favourite items. The sandwiches were amongst my favourites as well. As phenomenal as the experience was, I do think there are a few things which could have improved the experience. For one, a bit more service would have been appreciated. I had to wave my hand in the air to get our server's attention so that I could ask her to refill our tea pots with more hot water. Would have been nice if she'd just come around a bit more often and offered to top it up for us. Tea cozies on our tea pots might have been another improvement. A lot of my tea cooled down by the time I got to it. I like my tea hot but I didn't get in very many cups of hot tea as there was a lot of food to eat and by the time I was ready to pour myself some tea to wash down my food, the tea was...not so hot anymore. Oh, and while most of the food was appropriately sized, there was this one chocolate cookie sandwich that was really gigantic and suggested to be eaten last. We were so full already from all the other foods in the afternoon tea, and then to squeeze that giant cookie sandwich in...right at the end? A smaller and daintier cookie sandwich would have been preferred. It was overall a truly phenomenal experience. Yes, I do think it could have been slightly better, but I do emphasize the word "slightly". The points lost were so minor...I would still highly recommend this afternoon tea to anyone. It was well worth the money. It's offered every weekend for now but not sure how long they'll keep this around so if you're interested in a Winnie the Pooh themed afternoon tea, I'd make a reservation for it ASAP!

The setting is cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Staff was lovely and we were not rushed. Unfortunately they require full payment at the time of booking including a tip % automatically applied. We had been there less than 10 minutes. We were told at that point (for the second time) when we had to leave by. We selected a top bottle and when we ordered were told what time we needed to vacate the table. At that point I had enough. I wasn't prepared to spend that much on a beautiful bottle of wine (and dinner) to be harassed the entire time we enjoyed it. Very embarrassed I had to ask my guest if we could leave. Went to Cin Cin on Robson and had a proper dining experience with professional service. I will NEVER return to sequel despite living a block away with significant disposable income. For dinner we shared a diavola pizza and smoked salmon parpadelle. The pizza was good but the crust was soggy. The salmon parpadelle was good but I think it would have been better with another pasta - spaghetti, linguine or fettucine as the pasta could not be twirled with a fork and spoon and had to be cut up. The service was excellent. When our server Malaka heard that we were coming in from Abbotsford she said that she would give us the "best seat in the restaurant".
