Now, I normally wouldn't think of reviewing a smog place.. but, their customer service is OUTSTANDING. I was in there last Saturday around noon, and I was in and out within 15ish minutes, and that's including my retest. I can't say enough good things about the man that helped me out at the front desk, he was extremely friendly, smiling, laughing, and joking around. Definitely made me at ease while waiting for my car to get smogged. As I was in my car, ready to leave, the mechanic personally came out and let me know I should add coolant to my car. That was pretty nice of him, especially since the man who rung me up let me know that also. But, they really do have a good business going on here. Then I meet Dave the owner this guy was one of the coolest people I have ever met in my life! He was so helpful and friendly. I've taken two of our family cars to Poway Smog Station. Both times, a friendly technician greeted me before I have even stepped outside my car! How nice is that? The waiting area is air-conditioned, clean, and comfortable, and the customer service is excellent. They also have free wi-fi which was nice because I was able to work while I waited. I will only be using them because of the customer service and awesome staff. I love working with Jessie at the front desk. She's a sweetheart. My first time at this smog station and I didn't expect any different from other stations, but today I was proved wrong. I was warmly welcomed and comfy in a very roomy and clean waiting area, with access to some nice cold water and a vending machine with some good stuff...Reese's peanut butter cups! The techs were very friendly and treated me like a member and not just some customer. To top it off, I was in and out so fast that I didn't even get a chance to take out my phone. I was just there today and had the best experience ever. I work close by and only had 1 hour to drive 5 miles (through poway, yikes!) and back so I was hesitant to even go today to get a smog check. After reading a few reviews, I called and a man answered the phone and he was very straight forward, "yeah, no need for an appointment and it will take about half an hour", he said. DEAL. Went during lunch and they got my car checked in 15 minutes, no joke. I went to the bathroom (which was decent btw) and by the time I came out my car was done. These guys know how to run an efficient operation! I called them at 4:15pm on Saturday and asked how late they would be able to take me. They said that so long as I arrived by 5pm, they'd make sure to get my car smogged. The woman explained the pricing up front as well. I got there at 4:30 and was done in 15 minutes. They have a large, clean waiting room and took care of the check very fast. I will go back there for every smog check I need and will recommend friends to use them as well.
