Great spot. Falafel is made perfectly, and their sauces are wonderful! Fresh veggies and very clean. 10/10!

The best falafel in Vancouver is as superbaba hands down. I asked if the falafel was baked or fried…read moreand I was told I could pick. After requesting to have it fried I was surprised to see it come out of a microwave. Considering it's also the same price as superbaba I would suggest that of you're looking for a falafel save your money and go elsewhere. Staff were polite and place was clean for what that's worth. Hope you chicken lovers find something decent but if falafel is what you're seeking this is a hard pass.

Probably the most disappointing falafel experience I've had in Vancouver. I had the Vegetarian…read morePlate and nothing tasted fresh. The tomatoes in the Greek salad were on the verge of being mushy (I ate them, but considered discarding them, and if they'd been any more mushy I would've thrown them out), the hummus was grainy, the pickled onions tasted kind of funky, the samosa wrapper was not crisp, the dolma filling was weirdly dense, the pita was store-bought and very thin (I recognize this is intentional and a style some people like, I just prefer a thicker pita for dipping). The toum was really good, but that did not make up for everything else going on. They get a second star from me because when I ordered I also bought a bottle of their ayran to drink later, and that did end up being pretty good, so I feel my rating should acknowledge that there was something that wasn't a complete miss. But I definitely wouldn't eat here again.

Saw an instagram post about this establishment so stopped by. It is on the corner of Fraser St and…read moreBroadway and there is plenty of free street parking in the area. Opted for the chicken donair with tabbouleh, tomatoes, lettuce, hummus and teziki. Quick efficient service. The taste was great...and it is a good value lunch at $13.49. I do find it challenging to eat a donair and not have my hands covered in the sauces at the end so highly recommend plenty of napkins...and ideally a place to wash your hands after. It was a positive food experience.

It was one of the best falafel plates I've had in a while: big falafel patties smothered in flavourful sauces on top of qabuli rice with loads of juicy raisins (so great that qabuli rice is an option), fresh and tangy salad, smooth and rich hummus. I am very picky about baklava and so usually skip it, but theirs looked promising and I didn't regret getting it - it was appropriately moist but not cloyingly syrupy and the filo layers struck just the right balance of flakiness and melt-in-your-mouth softness. It's open until midnight so I was able to count on them for a late night meal. I took mine out but there's two tables inside and I think a few counter seats. The attached convenience store also looks like it has a big variety of snacks, candy, cereal, ice cream, etc. I've only actually shopped here once when I was in a pinch for some white chocolate for a recipe I was in the middle of baking and didn't want to run to the grocery store, and they had it - yay. The staff is nice in my experience.

Good all-vegan Middle Eastern place in a very industrial area…read more There's no store front, so if you order take-out, you have to ring a bell and they bring out your order -- works well enough. I ordered a few things online and specified a time for pick-up -- I got an e-mail half an hour early saying my order was ready. This isn't cool, especially for a place where freshness matters. Luckily, I live close and was able to go early. When I told the nice woman about this, she didn't apologize ("good to know"). This service aspect could obviously be improved. Now, the food: -Soy curls shawarma ($14). This was nice, but rather acidic -- there was a pickle inside that probably didn't help with this. However, everything else as very nice. The soy curls were spiced and textured nicely, and the rest of the filling was solid. The wrap is served with 3 dipping sides, 2 of which were really nice. 3/5 -Quinoa taboleeh ($14). Very fresh parsley, complemented nicely by tomato and green onion, but I didn't see any of the pomegranate seeds in there. It's served with a nice mint-infused olive oil dressing, which was nice. Solid. 3/5 -Beetroot hummus ($7). Really nice hummus, with excellent, smooth consistency, nice flavour depth, and good balance. It's served with pita, but not nearly enough and it's not fresh; this aspect could be improved. 4/5 All in all, I'm glad a place like this exists close me. With a bit of improvements on the execution, I'd adore this place. As of now, just moderately recommended.
