Tasty donair place close to Capilano Mall. Parking is available on the street as well as the strip mall lot. The interior is a bit grungy. Reminds me of those late nite places along the Granville strip downtown. The place has donairs, koobideh, joojeh, and platters (meat and falafel). Portion sizes are pretty filling. Quite tasty. The lamb meat was a bit saltier than I would've liked, but mixing it with rice solved the problem. The platter also comes with hummus and Greek salad. Will be back at some point.

Visiting Vancouver and decided to stop by here. The Koobideh and Chicken with bread was "YUMMY". The fresh basil was a nice touch and the side onion was also fresh. The only fault I would see is to increase the amount of basil as it is not intended for a garnish but rather an ingredient of the meal, just like the onion which there was plenty of. The restaurant itself was clean and the staff were courteous. This is not a full service - sit down restaurant (although there are a couple of tables with some bar stools one can dine in, but it is more like a quick grab-and-go. The menu itself had great variety which I liked.... For the calibre of business they're in and its aimed purpose....I'd have to say...Well done!

More like yucky. Absolute garbage. The chicken they serve is cut in tiny little pieces and it's full of fat. It taste like shit. They dont even have onion sauce only garlic sauce. They also dont have potatoes only French fries. I would not recommend this dreadfull place. They should check out Amir's menu and find out how to make real libanese food. Just grossed out by their food. I would give a zero on 10.

I am writing this review soley based on an experience I had when I ordered a mix donair with a combo. The price on the board says $8.99 plus add $3.00 for a combo. When it came time to pay the total was 13.64. Thinking Ok taxes etc I then looked at the paper bill and realized the sub total said $12.99 when it should say 11.99. I promptly asked the cashier who talked to someone in the back and said prices changed a month ago. Unfortunately they have not changed it in the display which is a TV display. The owners can increase their price all they want but have to change it on the advertising board. Have taken some pics and will post here.

    Koobideh on sangak ($6.99)

    * Persian fast food * North Vancouver is home to a lot of Persian places. This one is a bit off the normal cluster near Lonsdale, and instead down off Marine Drive. It also is more of a fast food style (order at the counter subway style) type place instead of a sitdown restaurant. Persian fast food, if you like. I ordered the large koobideh on sangak for a very reasonable $6.99. It is also available in a smaller version (one skewer and one tomato instead of two of each) for an extremely reasonable $4.99. After ordering they fired up the skewers and tomatoes on the grill and prepared them fresh. Nice. When they were done cooking they removed them from the skewers using a nice piece of very fresh sangak (I think I saw them baking sangak in the back industrial sized kitchen as well!), add some fresh basil leaves, and a chunk of raw onion to make a very nice overall plate: http://www.yelp.ca/biz_photos/XpbVHJk_c5krLBFiHPsNAA?select=NWmzypC7t7S71kxC6d26tQ#NWmzypC7t7S71kxC6d26tQ The koobideh was well seasoned and cooked perfectly so it was very juicy, the tomatoes had a nice char with the tender soft insides, and the ton of fresh basil added a nice flavour dimension. Wrapping a piece of the koobideh in a ripped off piece of sangak with some basil and a little bit of onion was such at treat! Why couldn't all fast food be like this? I'll definitely be back.

    Double koobideh..get in my belly.

The Lamb Donair was fantastic. The dip that comes with the fries is very tasty. I keep coming back.

It's the cheapest brunch buffet I've heard of in vancouver and they offer a great variety of savoury and sweet dishes. The quality of the dishes was also good. They have vegetarian and meat options. They also have warm and cold breakfast dishes. Along with a nice variety of pastries, fruits, breads, and toppings. They also had live music from 10:30 I think. They had a duo playing guitar and singing English songs and another duo singing Persian songs. The only problem I had was that the plates were very small so you either had to put small amounts on the plate and make a trip every 15 minutes or use multiple small plates on each trip. The cups were also small. I had to get up every 15-20 minutes and walk across the room with my cup, fill it with water and come back and do it all over again. Service 5/5 (the staff was friendly and were continuously removing the used plates and cutlery from the tables) Parking 4.5/5 (free 1 hour street parking) Food 5/5

Seems like the Pan items take longer to prepare, so it took awhile for the order to come out. Worth the wait in my opinion though. I loved my Vegetarian Denver Omelet Pan. It was piping hot, and the Omelet was so fluffy! This dish was a definite winner for me. One of the best things I've ordered in all the times that I've come here. Next time we came I ordered Fries and Cheese, with a bowl of Levantine Lentil soup. Mom had the Shawarma Chicken Pan, and my daughter had the Pesto Avocado Egg Wrap. The first thing that came out was my Levantine Lentil soup. I wished that they had brought it out later though. I don't like eating before everyone else's food has arrived, and it was quite awhile before the rest of the food arrived. Probably due to the Shawarma Chicken Pan since as I said before, that the Pan items seem to take longer to prepare. I took a few spoonfuls of my soup every few minutes just so I could enjoy at least few spoonfuls of it while it was still somewhat hot, but I would have much preferred for the soup to have been brought later, together with all the rest of the food. I felt guilty taking those few spoonfuls, but then the longer I waited...the colder my soup got. Next time I will tell them to bring the soup out later, when all of the food is ready to bring to the table. My fries and cheese came out after the soup. This also came before the other orders were ready. When it came, the server said she would bring some forks for us to eat the fries, and also some sour cream to go with the fries. Holy smokes...she took ages to come back to us. How long does a person need to go grab a few forks and a small container of sour cream?! I think the Shawarma Chicken Pan didn't look quite as impressive as the Omelet Pan I'd had earlier in the week. It was just chicken in the Pan. My Vegetarian Denver Omelet had been a lot more colourful than the Chicken. The dish did come with fries and they also gave my mom some bread as well. None of it very colourful though. I think if my mom wants chicken at this place, then we'll stick to ordering wraps for her. They seem to do very nice wraps at this place. My daughter had enjoyed the Pesto Avocado Egg Wrap before so this was her second time ordering it. For Pan dishes, I'd recommend the Halloumi Pan that I had on a previous visit and the Vegetarian Denver Omelet Pan.

There were samples of some kind of wrap at the front door of the restaurant. They were generous portions for samples but we didn't really like it. The inside of the restaurant was clean. With one person working at the cashier and another one only in the kitchen, the wait time was somewhat long. I get that the wrap/bread is baked fresh. Nonetheless, should they not have one more person working in the kitchen considering it's a Saturday? The chicken tawouk pan looked quite sad when i opened it up. Sad looking pieces of chicken breast with a tiny bit of mushroom slices. It came with some kind of cukes, garlic sauce and hummus. The menu stipulated juicy chicken breasts but the chicken was very dry and bland. Good thing my dish came with sauce otherwise it would have been difficult to have it passed down my throat. The kafta supreme was nicely presented. The menu definitely looked extremely tempting so my husband and brother both ordered it. Despite the nice presentation, both of them said it was extremely bland. My husband added sauce from my chicken to his wrap but my brother ate it as is. Yes the bread was freshly made and that was probably the best out of this wrap. Tim Hortons flatbread tasted better than this at a fraction of the price.
