Some jack@ss stopped short and we ran into their bumper causing extensive damage to the bumper, grill, driver side lights and side panel. This is a 2007 Nissan Altima with 150,000 miles on it. We were debating whether to fix the damage (out of our own pockets) or trade it in for a new car. When the dealerships offered us $500 for our car, it was an easy decision to fix it. Mechanically, this car is still perfect. Dr. Ed estimated that the damage would cost about $2500 to fix. For $2500, we wouldn't have repaired it. We went to J&J anyway to see how much it would cost. The owner was very nice, Jerry. He said he would call around to see how much the parts were. Within a couple of hours, he called us back. He estimated that it would cost $1100 to get it all done in a day. And if we didn't want to paint it (since we told him we didn't want to put too much money into this older car) he said he could do it for $800. That was 1/3 of what Dr. Ed estimated. It was music to my ears. We also had a large dent caused by our unscrupulous neighbor who ran into our car and then denied it. Damage was done overnight in our shared driveway--who else could it have been?! Karma is a bitch. They'll get theirs! I digress. I asked them if they could pull out that huge debt and they said it would be another $50. We immediately agreed. We dropped the car off on Monday morning at 8am and by 1pm, they called to say that the car was done. Fantastic! I quickly drove by and was so pleased with the final product. I thought it would look ghetto with unpainted parts but since our car is dark, it blends in fairly well. We are relieved that this was all done so quickly, professionally and at such a reasonable price. We hope to never ever see them again. But if we ever need Autobody work again in the future, we would not hesitate to go back to this place. Everyone that we dealt with here was professional and courteous. Jerry said he's been at this location for over 40 years. If you need Autobody work done, I highly recommend J&J!

I explained to person in charge, his name was Jason I think, my problem, which was every time I pressed the brakes there were screeching sounds. He immediately inspected the vehicle and told me that the brakes and rotors needed to be changed. He told me how much it would cost for labor and parts. In this instance, I'd like to give David's Auto Repair a whopping top-shelf rating of the highest high. My review are based on many factors. 1. I've been going here for quite some time now and the service is very consistent, hence my review took so long. I observe for a while and then, I put pen to paper. The mechanics knows what they are doing and they don't second guess themselves. 2. The owner (Dave) is very friendly and knowledgeable guy and his sister (Anita) is basically the backbone of the company, she handles and run the business very efficient and smooth like car oil. You can also asked them anything and don't matter how busy they are, they'll always make time to try and help you or give you their undivided attention to lead you in the right direction. 4. They don't lie after diagnosing a problem either, they tell you exactly what's wrong with your vehicle, some other mechanic might fabricate or exaggerate a problem just to make extra money on you. Many times I wanted to fix things that I thought were bad and they quickly brought me back to reality, saying that "this is money you don't need to spend because there was nothing wrong with your car, it was just a minor fix" and it turned out to be true. 5. Brought in my car to this shop because the brakes pedal felt spongy and soft. I had an extra set of…read morebrake pads in the trunk of my car in case they were needed. That was not the case. The pads they replaced DID NOT need to be replaced. The old pads were still almost new and I have the old pads to prove it. I did not instruct them to change any brake pads. I asked them to see why the brakes felt spongy and soft when applied. The Owner of this repair shop Dudley, completely disregarded the original problem and just slapped on the new brake pads and charged me. Now the brakes still have the original problem with a constant squealing now when the brakes are applied. When I questioned him he became defensive and basically did not want to deal with my car unless I spent more money to now replace all the brake rotors which is ridiculous. They now have created an added problem with this car. If he could not solve the original problem, all he had to do was call me and keep informed of the situation, not just go ahead on their own to charge me to replace something which they had no business replacing
