Everyone was very welcoming at the front desk. I signed a waiver before class and got a pair of grip socks which the studio allowed me to borrow for free (I returned the socks back after class). BARRE CLASS -- The instructor Roni was awesome! She provided great cues/directions for all the different lifts and moves. I loved the addition of small weights, a ball, and a resistance band. I most likely won't be back for a barre class just because this type of workout isn't for me. I prefer high intensity training classes, sprints, and lifting weights. The best test for your current fitness status is a DEXA SCAN (1-2% error rate) which evaluates your fat percentage, lean muscle mass, and visceral fat using low-dose X-ray. Alloy uses "InBody" (3-4% error rate) machine. InBody provides an electrical scan using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) to estimate segmented body composition analysis. I've never been to a gym/trainer that provides you with this analysis and helps you tailor a fitness/strength training program to fit your goals. The training staff here is educated and focused on seeing you meet your goals. This place wants you to return every week and misses you when you're not there. I encourage anyone that wants to improve their mobility, balance, stamina, strength and overall fitness needs to check this place out.
