I had a very brief, but very pleasant experience with this business. I had my wedding ring which had a piece of prong that was bent and causing snags on all of my clothes. I also had a situation where the prong was actually making the stone loose, so I did some research on what business would make the most sense and came across the jewelers guild. They were really conveniently close to me on top of providing repairs of that kind. I went in during their open hours to talk with the metalsmith that would be available. He was very friendly and very easy-going. He took a look and gave an assessment to my ring in less than five minutes. Provided me an accurate quote and let me know that I could come pick up my ring in a couple of days. They're a little old school and there was a paper receipt along with it that I brought back when I returned to get my ring, but overall everyone there was very friendly. They clearly are experts in what they do and my wedding ring is back to 100% shape and looking beautiful and sparkly clean. read more

Excellent custom jewelry operation, they also offer jewelry making classes. I had only a moderate project but they treated it very seriously and produced a veritable work of original art. It took a little longer than the projected (not promised, projected) timetable but considering the COVID-19 circumstances I'd say they were pretty punctual. It's hard to compare prices when reviewing a unique place like this but I feel like I got very high quality relative to what I paid. read more

These days, great customer service is not easy to come by, so when truly exceptional service is encountered, it needs to be celebrated. I am happy to say that when my wedding ring needed to be resized, I was fortunate to choose the Jewelers Guild. Their friendly service with a commitment to excellence blew away my every explication. As our30th wedding anniversary was approaching, my wife noticed that I had not been wearing my wedding ring. It simply had become too tight to wear. I decided that, for my anniversary gift, I wanted to have my ring adjusted so that I could start wearing it again. As I did not know a lot about jewelry, I was at a loss. I had no idea on where to take my ring to be resized. I asked my friends for recommendations and no one had any jewelers they felt comfortable recommending. My wife then searched for nearby options and was intrigued when she came across the Jewelers guild online. They not only offered repair but also specialized in teaching the craft of jewelry making. This sounded like exactly what we were looking for. A firm that not only offered repair services but also felt the importance in sharing their knowledge and skills to others. Upon arriving at the Jewelers Guild, my wife and I explained what we wanted done. While we were drawing up the paperwork to get my ring resized, they offered a free cleaning and evaluation of her engagement ring. Later, when we got to the point where we were discussing the time required for the repair and we mentioned that we were going on our 30th anniversary trip in just two days. If the repair would take longer than that, it would be no problem for us, but it may be a week or so before we could return and pick it up. After checking, they felt that they would be able to have the resizing done in time for our trip. I was amazed and excited to know it would ready in time for the trip. Shortly after the gentleman who had cleaned my wife's ring returned. He pointed out that the 30 years of daily use had taken a toll on my wife's ring. One of the prongs holding in the diamond was altogether missing and other prongs had deteriorated significantly. Upon learning that, we expected that we would have to wait until after our trip to have my wife's ring repaired. To our astonishment, they said that, although they typically charge more for next day turnaround, they would complete both rings in one days' time, at the original price quoted. It was clear they understood and appreciated our rings importance and wanted to be sure we had them in time for our trip. The next afternoon, we received the call to come in and pick up our rings. When we arrived to pick them up, we were delighted to see the care and craftsmanship that went into the repairs. My ring looked as good as the day it was first purchased and it fit perfectly. It was impossible to tell that the ring had been made 2 sizes larger. My wife's wedding ring was also repaired with the same care attention to detail. It gave us great assurance knowing that the diamond was again properly mounted and was ready for the next 30 years of use. Best of all, we had them both rings in time for our trip. I simply cannot say enough about the Jewelers guild. Their craftsmanship and helpful friendly service exceeded our every explication. This place is amazing. I have been meaning to check out the Jewelers Guild since they moved into St. Francis as my engagement ring needed to have some repair. My ring had a crack in the band and two prongs were bent. The did an awesome job for a very reasonable price. My ring looks brand new! I highly recommend this place for repairs. Nothing special for watch clasp repair. Took Gucci watch in on a Thursday, was told I'd receive a call with a quote for the repair. I finally called the following Wednesday, & was told that afternoon it was ready (no quote). Simple repair was completed, but watch hadn't been cleaned as I had been assured it would be. I'm willing to drive further and pay more (although he charged plenty) for a jeweler who is willing to go the extra mile for me. read more
