Strawberry Green Tea with Milk Foam and the Four Season Green Tea with Milk Foam.
    Joyce W.

"Adapting a new slogan of 'creativiTEA is Brewing', we strive to embrace vibrant colors in the TBaar experience to create a young, fun, and energetic ambiance" ― tbaar.com I'm usually one who believes that there is no such thing as a bad boba drink. So when I was handed what was said to be Four Season Green Tea and I took a large swig, I didn't expect what would follow to be a guttural, "Bleh!" Truly a one-of-a-kind boba experience. Four of us had a shared experience of the worst boba drink we ever had. I had ordered a Strawberry Green Tea with Milk Foam and another ordered a Four Season Green Tea with Milk Foam. Some had found my strawberry green tea to taste chemical. I found it to be more artificial. Neither opinion goes towards this review, though, because the Four Season Green Tea with Milk Foam was both the protagonist and antagonist. It was the most offensive tea I ever had in my life and I laugh about it 'til this day. I'm sure Tbaar has some lovely and amazing drinks that I wish I had the pleasure of trying but the drinks that we ordered and tried weren't it. In a city full of bubble tea options, I just don't see myself coming back.

TLDR: Pretty good hidden gem spot for boba, juices, and smoothies. I tried the boba Tbaar when they first opened and it was pretty good. This time around, I tried 2 of their smoothies, which had no extra additives (no sugars, no syrups, etc.) and it exceeded my expectation. I personally don't like Tropical Cafe Smoothie or Jamba Juice because they put fruit syrups into their drink but Tbaar did not do that. They had a juicer, which created the appropriate fruits for each drink. I saw the worker did not include any other additives, meaning the drink I ordered was exactly what it said on the menu. The service was okay, I wouldn't say it exceeded my expectation but it wasn't the best service I had received. The shop is located inside a small plaza (right next to Sweet talk), which a lot of parking available. There was a lot of seating inside and the ambiance was pretty quiet inside, so I could study inside if I wanted to. Overall, I would recommend this place to my friends, especially to get their juices and smoothies. Pretty good hidden gem place in my opinion.

My green tea with sea salt cream

My trip to Vegas for this week consisted everyday going to a different boba tea shop. TBaar had the most flavorful green tea of all the shops I visited. I got basically the same thing, a green tea with sea salt cream or cheese cream. Some the tea was very light brewed not enough tea flavor, some were not sweetened right. TBaar had the best brewed tea and flavor. Very fragrant and tasty if your a tea drinker you'd know this right after the first sip. This will be my go to place for green tea salt cream brew. if I'm in the area. Another plus it's next to a dessert shop that's convenient.

I love love this tea shop!!!! I came here for the first time and im so glad i did! The fact they only use 100% all natural fresh fruit and no added sugars are the main reason i chose them out of all the ones i went to! The quality is there and the drinks are super tasty and refreshing. I got the super fruit tea, watermelon milk smoothie with boba and tropical black iced tea. All for under $20 , They all were soooo good and you can taste the real fruit i loved it! They also have board games to kill time with a cup of tea ;-) i recommend

TBaar is finally in Vegas! We've seen a surge of chains from LA and NYC open up here lately, and TBaar is one I was really looking forward to. I don't have boba tea or smoothies often, but when I do, use of fresh fruit and the ability to get options with less or no sweetness are key. Tbaar nails those and then some. Soft opening BOGO offer allowed us to try a few different things. Their brown sugar milk tea, as suggested by staff, was not my favorite as it was overly sweet and not as good as other places. However, the smoothies and teas they're known for were a better fit for my taste. The Dragonfruit smoothie (also made with strawberry, banana, and a beet juice base) was the right consistency and not too sweet. So many other places use powders or purees, and here they actually chop up a fresh dragonfruit for your order. We also tried their Fresh Fruit Tea, which was a bit too sweet for my liking but made with, again, fresh fruit. I liked that the drink was still tea-forward instead of tasting like a fruit juice as elsewhere. Location is small but super clean. Even making all drinks to order, service was quick and friendly. Large parking lot is a plus in Chinatown.

Since my last review, I've given this place another try. ok, let's keep it real, I've been back plenty of times for their matcha smoothie with white pearls. Yum! I'm a matcha lover and so far, I've liked the way they make their smoothie. It's not too sweet like other places. It's just right. At least for me. :) I also, like how they now offer a stamp card, which I've filled 3x already. Lol (buy 6 drinks, get your next one free) oh refills of 50% is now ALL DAY. I believe that before, it was only during a certain time 4-7pm) and it was free.

Nice, quaint tea place with pretty good menu options for teas and toppings. I have to say though that as far as their "fruit teas" go, it's not tea at all; not a tea mixed with a juice or anything but instead it is just a light fruit juice with toppings. It doesn't taste like any sort of tea and when i had asked, they weren't giving a clear answer. Also, sugar levels can't be altered. Nothing stood out from the spot that made me want to go back and try their other options.

First, they have a dairy-free option that isn't fruit-flavored!! I was so happy when I saw that their dairy-free flavor is chocolate. And, it's really creamy and chocolatey. Second, the toppings bar is so unique... and there are so many options: fresh fruit, boba, cookies, cinnamon churros (incredible), Mexican candies, U.S. candies, and a variety of drizzles and sauces. The customer service is five stars. The owner was working the cash register and she was so friendly. And, the ambiance was great. Comfortable chairs and nicely decorated. Will definitely visit again any time I am in the area. Two recommendations: 1) Label the dairy-free flavor as dairy-free. If I hadn't asked and just saw the flavors, I wouldn't have known the chocolate was dairy-free. 2) Label all of the toppings. Some toppings were clearly labeled, but others didn't have a label. For example, there were two bobas: one was red, one was orange. Since they weren't labeled, I didn't know if it was strawberry and mango, or cherry and guava, or strawberry and passion fruit, etc.

They have three different styles which include ah boong (served in taiyaki), upside down (taiyaki in a cup), or just a cup. The taiyaki also has a variety of fillings to choose from. And variety toppings can be added without extra charge. Of note, this place is cashless! I just wanted a cup so I did not order any additional taiyaki. I got ube soft serve with an addition of biscoff crumble. The staff prepares your order really quickly within a couple minutes, even during busy times. You can take your order to go and leave, but they also have some seating in the shop if you want to stick around to enjoy your cold treat. It's styled similar to high school bleachers where the seats are made of wood. Plenty of lighting to take pictures, along with a decorative wall if you're into that! Fairly kid friendly place too, where they can sit and enjoy their soft serve; I would not recommend having them run freely as there's not much room especially during busy hours.

They always have really good flavors and combinations, and this visit was no different. I actually really appreciated the vibe of this location too! It almost reminded me of a cool coffee shop--the kind of place with good music where you'd want to sit down, hang out, and maybe get some work done...except you're here eating ice cream instead. They have this really cool stepped, almost bleacher-style seating area that I thought was super innovative. The space itself isn't huge, so it creates a lot more seating without making everything feel cramped. Grab your ice cream, find a spot, listen to the music, and just hang out. I liked it! And of course, the taiyaki was delicious. Nutella is ALWAYS bomb, and most importantly, my son loved his dessert--which is always a win for us. The only thing bringing this down to four stars was the service. Man...our girl did NOT crack a smile. There wasn't anything necessarily wrong with the service, but there definitely wasn't any warmth or friendliness either. But let's be real: we're coming here for the dessert, and the dessert delivers! 4 stars from us. We'll absolutely come back. Just don't necessarily expect amazing service, expect amazing ice cream.

On our visit, there were several sketchy people in the lot and some going to the adjoining liquor store. While most of the customers were nice family looking people, a few of them were on the sketchier side too. If this were the only issue, we would go back, but there were other issues as well. However, for the positives, parking was limited, but sufficient. Business was good and there was both a line and numerous people waiting for their food. The order area is well lit at night. Most of all, the servers are very friendly, helpful, and patient. Unfortunately, the rest of the downside are the most important things. The serving cup size is good, but the ratio of custard to hot fudge/toppings was way off. Most places do not give enough fudge/chocolate sauce/toppings, but here the ratio was half and half. This MIGHT have been ok if the fudge and toppings were layered as at other places that do not skimp on toppings, but here the fudge/toppings were the top half of the cup and the custard at the bottom. This made it difficult to get the custard and to get a proper ratio of custard to topping. Kind of like rationing your meat and rice or potatoes so you have some for each bite--you could not do this with the custard and toppings here. The custard quality seemed like it might be ok, but it was hard to tell due to the ratio and serving structure. Overall, Nielson's custard has the more standard concretes with mix ins and a larger portion size than Luv-it. Freddy's frozen custard, although not as good as Nielson's was still also better than Luv-it. If Luv-it could either layer its toppings and you have concrete custard consistency, then it could be rated higher. As is, you are better off driving the distance to Nielson's or just going to Freddys. Still, if you must go to Luv-it, just be aware of your surroundings and you will still get an ok dessert.
