Called shop on a Tuesday to see if they could help with my starter battery as well as an engine code that recently popped up. I was told to drop it off the next morning so they could check it out. I drove it over first thing and took an uber home as my wife was out of town. No calls or updates, so I reached out Thursday afternoon to see what was going on since we were going away for the weekend. I was told they 'didn't have time' to look at it and to just come pick it up. The next morning we had to scramble to try and get it before work, and of course when we went to pick it up, it was dead, and they said they had to keep jumping it to move it out of their way. Yeah - it died - that's the reason I brought it to you two days prior. Ended up being an hour late to work after getting the truck back along with $30 in ubers. Not a fan of shops that waste your time. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but they just did a horrible job. I took my truck there to get the under valve cover harnesses and connectors changed back to Ford brand ones because my new IDM suggested doing that when installing it. Sure enough, my truck ran like junk with the new IDM and the crappy Dorman harnesses. I had it towed to them where they said it wouldn't be a problem to put the Ford ones on. After a few days there, they said that one of my brand new injectors was bad and needed a new solenoid, so I paid for them to fix that as well, since I wanted the truck back in 100% working order. After a few more days, I was told it was ready, so I went to pick it up. It was smoking like a chimney and stumbling, so I told them that I was not comfortable taking it back without it running properly. The guy agreed to keep it and get it running. A few days later, they said it was ready again. I went down there to get it. It was running better, but still not normal. I was told that it was smoking because the injector was pulled and it takes awhile for the fuel to burn off, which is a legit excuse, but it was still hesitating. They said it would work itself out once it got about 100 miles or so on it. Well, I drove it to Fontana and back and it had way low power, it was sucking fuel down at an enormous rate, and it was blowing out white smoke all the time. I popped the hood to inspect things when I got home and it was still using Dorman harnesses, plus 3 valve cover bolts were missing and it was leaking oil because of it, and one of the clamps from my air intake was missing. I took it back and they now said there was a short in my wiring harness, that the mechanic must have forgot to put the bolts back in, and they admitted to breaking the intake clamp. They said they would order me another harness, but they are hard to find for a 2000 7.3, but they said they found a good one. A little over a month after initial drop off, I finally got it back. It ran good up until about 65 mph, when it started down shifting like crazy and redlining until it got back below 60. I figured that maybe something went wrong with the refurbished computer that I had just installed prior to dropping my truck off there. When I went to pull the computer and put back my original PCM, i noticed that they had taken my brand new one and replaced it with a used computer from an 03 Econoline van, according to the PCM code and markings written on it. Once I installed my old computer, it could finally go freeway speed, but the overdrive light would flash during city driving. I eventually retrieved my stolen PCM from them and put it back in, but still had the overdrive light problem. I did also realize that they had, for whatever reason, also removed the rubber gasket that holds the PCM and the connector to the firewall, which explained the wind that I felt on my leg while driving. After some lengthy diagnosis, I found the problem was that the "good" harness they installed has a short somewhere in the alternator power wire. I bypassed the wire and that solved the overdrive light issue. While diagnosing that, I began inspecting all the connectors in that "good" harness and it's a joke. Valve cover connectors have insulation missing and he tabs that lock them in place are broken. The ICP connector is frayed (i had put a new one on my old harness, same with the fuel bowl heater connector). The EBP sensor harness is frayed. And the engine oil temperature sensor harness is frayed. I would highly advise going to another location for repairs. What should have been a day repair turned into month long nightmare that just keeps giving me more headaches. read more

The techs here may do good work. But sal is a terrible business man and shop manager. Took my f250 in because the oil had coolant mixed in it. Brought it in on friday may 8th. He let me know they were busy and couldnt work on it until monday the 11th. No problem. Come june 10th, after calling once a week asking for updates, do i barely get an estimate!! Zero work has been done to the truck. At this point i am so frustrated with having to wait 5 weeks simply to get a estimate, i inform sal i will be picking the truck up and taking my business elsewhere. I asked him to draw me up a bill for the diagnostic, and have the truck ready for me to tow the following day. 8 more days go by and no response again from sal. So i text him this morning letting him know i am headed down there and will be picking up the truck at 10am sharp. I show up at 10am on the dot and guess what..... truck still inside the shop buried by a pile of other trucks!! Absolutely zero communication, zero customer service. And to add insult to injury, not even a single "im sorry" when i picked the truck up today. 6 weeks total down the drain and now i have to start this process all over again. That place was recommended me back in the days by my neighbor. He had a sensor replacement there and was happy about it. So I tried to work with that guys to, but have a tons of problem with it. Here we go, my story. I had replacement EGR BulletProof, OEM cooler and ODAWG air intake on my Powerstroke. All parts is legal in CA. I asked about the price by a phone, told what kinda parts wanna intall answer was - $1300. When I arrived in the shop. Showed all the parts again and checked price for labor again - $1300. So, finally everything is intall and ready to go. That's how I thought in that day.. That start with new updated price for labor - $1600. On my why price rise up, answer was like a we are installed extra, what extra they are installed I still have no idea. My truck was parked outside shop, about block away, just on the street. Pretty all front interior was dirty af. I founded someone else truck key. I like let me check what in under hood. Pretty everything was oiled. I thought in that moment maybe they are drop some oil or something. When I back home, in Malibu, that's about 50 miles away for the moment. I figured out that oit not a some drops, that freaking leaking as fuck. Besides that I founded not installed air sensor in my air intake, cracked pastic parts, and more stuff like that. I returned in few days back in the shop, cbuz long weekend. They are replaced my sensor and tried to tell me my sensor was cracked later. When I asked about refund, owner guy start to intimidating me about parts, which was installed, not a legal for CA. In that moment mechanic start to say to him hey, all parts are legal, actually. Story didn't finished. On next day I found fuel leak from my pressure gauge. That gauge its new and didn't gave me a problem before. Looks like someone just hit that gauge.. So, spend about extra $600 to fix all that's stuff. If you wanna have fully clean your truck and not be sure about start your truck in same day after service, please, use that service. Sal lied to me. My fuel filter was stuck. He told me he would break the cap and it would be a $60.00 replacement. That's okay. But he ended up breaking the entire fuel filter housing. Okay...shit happens. I rented a truck, told Sal I wouldn't make him pay the full $700.00 replacement cost. I told him that we could split the cost. On Tuesday...he order the part and told me it would be extra $40.00 to have it delivered by Thursday. Thursday came he said oh don't worry it will be here on Friday and you don't have to pay the extra $40.00. Okay I said. Finally the part came on monday. HE FU#KING LIED. FU#K YOU SAL. I went to the dealer picked up my part.....Sal made me pay for the whole thing. Even though he broke it. The dealer says oh the part has been sitting here since Thursday. So now I have paid for the part that he broken, AN Extra $200.00 for car rental and the $40.00 overnight shipping that he told dont worry about it. When I called Sal, his attitude whatever I'm not paying for the part at all. I have been a customer of this business for xaabout 5 years. I am NEVER EVER FU#KING EVER COMING BACK. I Don't work with liars. And he has the balls to look at me and say I do your next oil change on me.....like fucking hell u will. I won't let u touch my truck. I found these guys almost 3 years ago now and man am I impressed. I've invested tons of money into my 6.0 and I'm never disappointed when it's time to pick her up from the Powerstroke guys. Just recently the time came for my 6.0 to be bulletproofed. I let Sal (one of the owners) know that I needed my truck in 2 weeks from the day I dropped it off for a long trip I was going to be making. He assured me it would be ready. To my surprise I got a call a week later from Sal letting me know my truck was ready for pick up! When I went later that day to pick her up I let the guys know I was shocked on how fast they got the work done. They told me they wanted me to get the truck back at least a week before my trip so I could drive her around to make sure I was satisfied with the way she was running and if there was any problems we still had an additional week to fix anything that might need adjusting! I was having several problems with my 2007 F250 6.0 diesel truck. Loss of power, white smoke and intermittent check engine light coming on. I had Sal work on the turbo when his shop was in paramount last year. The truck ran really well and I was happy with the service. When I began having the smoke and check engine light issues a couple months ago, I drove the 30 miles to his new location in signal hill. Sal suggested I "bullet proof" the 6.0, he installed a heavy duty EGR cooler, oil cooler, head bolts, water pump and the heads were redone including new valve seals. I also added a stage 1 turbo and had the truck "tuned" to maximize power. It now runs better than when it was new, the power and performance is amazing. Sal knows how to work on these trucks, even though his shop is 30 miles away, I will continue to bring my truck to him for future servicing, it's definitely worth the drive! read more
