It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Almost milkshake-like. (Not frozen, just thicker and sweeter than a traditional matcha). I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an earthy or classic matcha. The texture was a bit grainy with some settling at the bottom, and I did get a small clump in one sip. Not a big deal, just noticeable. If I had to guess, they use a pre-sweetened matcha powder. They don't advertise having pure or ceremonial matcha, so I'm not too pressed. Just sharing my experience. Service was quick and I got my drink within just a few minutes. There's plenty of indoor seating plus a spacious, dog-friendly patio. The vibe is very social and family-friendly, with lots of conversation, families, and groups. I personally wouldn't come here to study or work, but it seems like a great spot to meet with friends or family, or just a casual coffee run. I'd come back when I'm in the mood for something sweet. They told me they use Olympian beans from Washington and the flavor was good. Not too strong and relatively smooth. The milk in the latte was slightly over textured (more cappuccino than latte) but still tasty and she was able to produce a small amount of latte art which given the shape of the mug wasn't that easy. The staff is friendly and it is a nice place to come and either talk or do some quiet work. Would recommend if you are in the nearby area.
