A place where your best post coffee reading ends up. A John. A Library like place. A shrine to your favorite inspirations.

Ok, sometimes we need to go back and redo the past . Coffee has always been close to my heart, Grouchy's Coffee used to make me smile. After rediscovering the past, now in the present it's time to relive new memories here. This coffee shop is a special gem that needs to be on your list. The lobby will grab your attention for hours. Where are the Star Wars themed fans? Come on over and hang out here. They have coffee and all sorts of drink offerings. Their coffee is the best! How about a cafe au lait with oat milk? They do it all! Avocado toast, donuts, muffins, shakes. Come and find your fancy? The staff here are so sweet! They make ordering so easy! They have the best customer service and experience ever. Wow some things get better with time. And this is why we go back and have to pay homage to the best of coffee now. Shall we get the day off with a smile and love.

I stopped in because I was down the street at a Yelp experience and I really needed some cold coffee to keep me going. I've never been to one of these coffee shops before so I went with an OG iced latte which is a salted caramel and vanilla drink. The drink was good but tiny at 12oz and I paid nearly $9 after tax and tip. It was also filled with ice and I feel like I had four sips in total. The shop is pretty big and does offer a lot of different seating but I was on the go so I didn't hangout. I think there are much more affordable options that taste good and aren't as expensive as this place. Service was friendly and fast since there wasn't anyone in line in front of me.

I've been to Grouchy John's before but this is a sign I'll be back more often. The drive thru was quick and tons of options. I have been inside previously and it's a huge space and decently quick if you are trying to get some work done. I ordered an Iced Hazelnut Latte with Almond Milk. Tasted great. Not overly sweet and the quality of coffee was good. Price also surprised it didn't cost $8-9 especially since I added an alt milk but paid a little under $7. Will be stopping by here more often. They also do have a selection of pastries and food items.

I had an appointment in the area and needed a spot to finish up some work towards the end of the day. I had earmarked this spot for awhile, but hadn't had a chance to try it yet, so I figured I'd finally stop in. It's located in a parking lot with a few other businesses, but thankfully I didn't have an issue finding a spot. Immediately upon walking in I was greeted with rock music and funky decor, I knew this was a spot for me! The barista greeted me and I told him I'd need a few minutes to review the menu. I asked if their chai was spicy or mild and he advised that while he personally had not tried it, he believed it was mild. Accordingly, I opted to try the cinnamon dolce latte instead as I like a really spicy chai. While I was waiting for my coffee, I settled into a table and started working. To my surprise, the barista hand delivered my drink (and everyone else's) versus just yelling your name to grab it. This was a small, but very nice touch. My latte was good, with the warming spice of the cinnamon and the subtle sweetness, rounded out by espresso. I usually opt for almond milk and it's not always handled well in iced drinks, sometimes it can leave a funky aftertaste, but they handled it perfectly to where it just provided the creamy backdrop. This is definitely a place I'd stop into again to get work done, just not any meetings as it is a bit noisy- as most coffee shops are nowadays. There are a lot of coffee shops in Vegas, but between the vibe, service and quality of the coffee I'd place this one towards the top.

Hubby and I have come here a few times. It is not too far from airport, looks small but huge and cozy inside. Lots of seating available and there are games and books to use/play. They also have a bathroom that was very nice and clean and easy to access in the back. The service provided was fast and friendly. I ordered the 12 oz mild roast coffee with a splash of cream and stevia. It was so delicious and hubby enjoyed his nitro brew. This place will most likely be on my list as a go to for coffee always when in the area.

While in LV we ran into this coffee shop and ordered Nitro and drip coffee. My wife liked the coffee with a Splenda and splash of cream. The Nitro was okay I wish it was colder would be my only negatives. The place has plenty of seats and tables and very welcoming. The service also was good. A good spot to get a cup of Joe and refreshed.

Finally got to try this coffee shop after so long!!! They have a variety of drinks and food items on their menu. I got their grouchy John ice coffee and the almond roca ice coffee. They were both delicious. We also got their breakfast sandwich and avocado toast. The avocado toast was extremely simple and pretty pricey. I would just stick to getting coffee here and not food

Will you be open on thanksgiving?

Hi, We are closed on Thanksgiving and will reopen at 5am on Friday.

Is indoor seating available 24/7 yet?

As of now they close 9pm everyday, but drive thru is 24/7

Is this a good place to study? If so are there outlets?

Could any of the drinks be made with decaf?

    Yes they can!:)

Does this location still open at 5am?

I'm not sure what their current hours are - but the drive thru is still open 24 hours.

    What are there vegan options?

yes! vegan milk and i saw a vegan muffin:)

What do they put in there bulletproof coffee?

Every serving of bulletproof coffee includes a tablespoon of kerrygold organic unsalted butter & 1 tablespoon of MCT oil (Now Sports brand, which consists of coconut & palm kernel oil).

A friend recommended we stop here for breakfast or lunch on our way to Zion, Utah. We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

We were enjoying the music and it was a vibe until it came to pay the bill. At 9:30 PM, a full 30 minutes before the posted closing time of 10:00 PM, the staff began rushing us out while my wife was still eating. When it came time to pay our bill, our bank cards were temporarily unavailable due to a system outage. We had the money. This was not a financial issue. It was a technical one we were actively working to resolve. Instead of being given a moment, security surrounded our table and treated us as though we were attempting to leave without paying. We were not. We never attempted to leave. I want to note that a couple of the security members were actually kind and professional throughout. A manager then approached with immediate hostility white male, tattoos, wearing a white crop shirt, and beige pants) no introduction, and no interest in hearing our explanation. I want to Emphasize That everyone working there refused to give me his name (white male) I even attempted to ask him and he walked away. He made demeaning remarks about our finances and specifically told us that if we didn't pay, he would call the police and trespass us, but if we paid, he would not. We paid. My brother sent $30 via Zelle directly to a security staff member to settle the bill. It was paid in full. He called the police anyway. And trespassed us anyway. I had offered to leave my ID as collateral, leave card information on file, or return the next morning. Every offer was refused before we even got to that point. The responding officers acknowledged his behavior was inappropriate. His own staff was visibly uncomfortable. Unless you are prepared to be treated as a suspect over something completely outside your control, I would think twice before dining here.

Bacon Nation slaps slices on just about everything but French toast, and even that can be topped with bacon butter and bacon-infused syrup. The build-your-own omelet is a worthy breakfast, stuffed with two veggies and two meats of your choice. Cheddar, diced onion, and two types of bacon inside three eggs was a winner. Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it.
