I cannot begin to explain how much love I have for the night crew here. Every single one of them are talented, professional, kind, and welcoming. As a neurodivergent person I often get anxious places when I'm worried they will make my drink wrong or if they take too long I worry If they forgot me. Here I just get to be a regular customer. I have never once (after 3 pm) had to return a drink or ask them To remake it. It's always consistent and delicious and it's why I come here 3 x a week and pay almost 9$ for a coffee. I stopped in because I was down the street at a Yelp experience and I really needed some cold coffee to keep me going. I've never been to one of these coffee shops before so I went with an OG iced latte which is a salted caramel and vanilla drink. The drink was good but tiny at 12oz and I paid nearly $9 after tax and tip. It was also filled with ice and I feel like I had four sips in total. The shop is pretty big and does offer a lot of different seating but I was on the go so I didn't hangout. I think there are much more affordable options that taste good and aren't as expensive as this place. Service was friendly and fast since there wasn't anyone in line in front of me. read more

I've been to Grouchy John's before but this is a sign I'll be back more often. The drive thru was quick and tons of options. I have been inside previously and it's a huge space and decently quick if you are trying to get some work done. I ordered an Iced Hazelnut Latte with Almond Milk. Tasted great. Not overly sweet and the quality of coffee was good. Price also surprised it didn't cost $8-9 especially since I added an alt milk but paid a little under $7. Will be stopping by here more often. I had an appointment in the area and needed a spot to finish up some work towards the end of the day. I had earmarked this spot for awhile, but hadn't had a chance to try it yet, so I figured I'd finally stop in. It's located in a parking lot with a few other businesses, but thankfully I didn't have an issue finding a spot. Immediately upon walking in I was greeted with rock music and funky decor, I knew this was a spot for me! The barista greeted me and I told him I'd need a few minutes to review the menu. I asked if their chai was spicy or mild and he advised that while he personally had not tried it, he believed it was mild. Accordingly, I opted to try the cinnamon dolce latte instead as I like a really spicy chai. While I was waiting for my coffee, I settled into a table and started working. To my surprise, the barista hand delivered my drink (and everyone else's) versus just yelling your name to grab it. This was a small, but very nice touch. My latte was good, with the warming spice of the cinnamon and the subtle sweetness, rounded out by espresso. I usually opt for almond milk and it's not always handled well in iced drinks, sometimes it can leave a funky aftertaste, but they handled it perfectly to where it just provided the creamy backdrop. This is definitely a place I'd stop into again to get work done, just not any meetings as it is a bit noisy- as most coffee shops are nowadays. There are a lot of coffee shops in Vegas, but between the vibe, service and quality of the coffee I'd place this one towards the top. read more

They also have a bathroom that was very nice and clean and easy to access in the back. The service provided was fast and friendly. I ordered the 12 oz mild roast coffee with a splash of cream and stevia. It was so delicious and hubby enjoyed his nitro brew. What a fun little spot on the SE side of town. My work group changes meet up spots to different sides of town to accommodate everyone and Grouchy John's was this month's spot. It was the perfect place to gather with a few friends. They're open later than a lot of other coffee spots and the staff was so nice. I got a peach smoothie and it was sooooo good. Drive through speaker wasn't great. Clerk wasn't that friendly. Awkward fill in tip moment at drive through. They also charge a credit card fee but won't break $100 on $32 bill. The coffee was alright, nothing to right home about. The small is 12oz and was $7, same price as a grande would've been at Starbucks. Price alone keeps me from coming back. We had this coffee at UNLV today! So good! We were there for a 5K race today and so happy these guy were there! Before our race started, I ordered the Mango Smoothie with whip cream. AMAZING! We also ordered the Strawberry Smoothie with whipped cream and Carmel Machiatos iced! Everything was so fantastic and the prices for all was $35 however in my opinion was way better than Starbucks! Can I just say just about everything on their menu is BOMB! The bakery items that they have are great. Some of my faves are their cinnamon toast bread, the bread alone that they use is yum! In the area and looked on Yelp to check out a new place for an afternoon tea. It had great reviews so decided to check it out. The place is super cool. It's Star Wars themed and has fun decor, lots to look at. There are little alcoves to sit within the front of coffee shop. There are tons of books you can pick out and read, maybe even "borrow" I guess. Then I noticed another room and took a look. It's a good size room with tables and people are reading, studying, hanging out. They even have a whole rack of board games. What a great concept! Back in college I would have loved this type of place. Or if I worked remote this would be nice as well, even just in general. I was surprised it was pretty quiet and there were a good amount of people there. I ordered an Iced Chai Latte and it wasn't good- no flavor. I didn't taste it until I got to the car and not my style to have them fix it. I ordered it the same I would at any other place, with nonfat milk but there was barely a chai taste so definitely disappointing. Service did not stand out. The person who took my order was efficient but not welcoming. The person that handed me my drink at least smiled. Anyway, the 3 stars is for it looking like a cool hang out and I like the vibe. This place reminds me of what coffee shops were like in the 90s. The space is packed with books, games, assorted couches, tables and chairs that invite you to get comfortable and stay a while. Now days most coffee places feel like they want you to get your drink to go as quickly as possible. They have an assortment of fun flavored coffee drinks and concoctions. They did advise the drinks are generally very sweet, which was nice as that gave us the opportunity to ask for it at about 50% sweetness which was plenty. Offbeat charming coffee spot about a 20 minute drive from the MGM Grand. They have a drive through too but we went inside. My friend got an espresso and a banana nut muffin and liked both of those . I actually got their vegan blueberry muffin and I loved the flavor of that . There were so many blueberries in it and some sugar crunch on top . Be aware they do heat that up in the microwave for a few seconds to make it a bit warm but it's really tasty. Parking lot is free .
