    Inside joke

I stopped in because I was down the street at a Yelp experience and I really needed some cold coffee to keep me going. I've never been to one of these coffee shops before so I went with an OG iced latte which is a salted caramel and vanilla drink. The drink was good but tiny at 12oz and I paid nearly $9 after tax and tip. It was also filled with ice and I feel like I had four sips in total. The shop is pretty big and does offer a lot of different seating but I was on the go so I didn't hangout. I think there are much more affordable options that taste good and aren't as expensive as this place. Service was friendly and fast since there wasn't anyone in line in front of me.

I've been to Grouchy John's before but this is a sign I'll be back more often. The drive thru was quick and tons of options. I have been inside previously and it's a huge space and decently quick if you are trying to get some work done. I ordered an Iced Hazelnut Latte with Almond Milk. Tasted great. Not overly sweet and the quality of coffee was good. Price also surprised it didn't cost $8-9 especially since I added an alt milk but paid a little under $7. Will be stopping by here more often. They also do have a selection of pastries and food items.

Just love this place. Great geeky ambiance, comfy seating and great food and drinks. My day and I went for the Sith and the Butter beer. Loved them both. Whether you're a sci-fi fan or not, I think you'll enjoy your time here

I had an appointment in the area and needed a spot to finish up some work towards the end of the day. I had earmarked this spot for awhile, but hadn't had a chance to try it yet, so I figured I'd finally stop in. It's located in a parking lot with a few other businesses, but thankfully I didn't have an issue finding a spot. Immediately upon walking in I was greeted with rock music and funky decor, I knew this was a spot for me! The barista greeted me and I told him I'd need a few minutes to review the menu. I asked if their chai was spicy or mild and he advised that while he personally had not tried it, he believed it was mild. Accordingly, I opted to try the cinnamon dolce latte instead as I like a really spicy chai. While I was waiting for my coffee, I settled into a table and started working. To my surprise, the barista hand delivered my drink (and everyone else's) versus just yelling your name to grab it. This was a small, but very nice touch. My latte was good, with the warming spice of the cinnamon and the subtle sweetness, rounded out by espresso. I usually opt for almond milk and it's not always handled well in iced drinks, sometimes it can leave a funky aftertaste, but they handled it perfectly to where it just provided the creamy backdrop. This is definitely a place I'd stop into again to get work done, just not any meetings as it is a bit noisy- as most coffee shops are nowadays. There are a lot of coffee shops in Vegas, but between the vibe, service and quality of the coffee I'd place this one towards the top.

Hubby and I have come here a few times. It is not too far from airport, looks small but huge and cozy inside. Lots of seating available and there are games and books to use/play. They also have a bathroom that was very nice and clean and easy to access in the back. The service provided was fast and friendly. I ordered the 12 oz mild roast coffee with a splash of cream and stevia. It was so delicious and hubby enjoyed his nitro brew. This place will most likely be on my list as a go to for coffee always when in the area.

While in LV we ran into this coffee shop and ordered Nitro and drip coffee. My wife liked the coffee with a Splenda and splash of cream. The Nitro was okay I wish it was colder would be my only negatives. The place has plenty of seats and tables and very welcoming. The service also was good. A good spot to get a cup of Joe and refreshed.

Finally got to try this coffee shop after so long!!! They have a variety of drinks and food items on their menu. I got their grouchy John ice coffee and the almond roca ice coffee. They were both delicious. We also got their breakfast sandwich and avocado toast. The avocado toast was extremely simple and pretty pricey. I would just stick to getting coffee here and not food

In the area and looked on Yelp to check out a new place for an afternoon tea. It had great reviews so decided to check it out. The place is super cool. It's Star Wars themed and has fun decor, lots to look at. There are little alcoves to sit within the front of coffee shop. There are tons of books you can pick out and read, maybe even "borrow" I guess. Then I noticed another room and took a look. It's a good size room with tables and people are reading, studying, hanging out. They even have a whole rack of board games. What a great concept! Back in college I would have loved this type of place. Or if I worked remote this would be nice as well, even just in general. I was surprised it was pretty quiet and there were a good amount of people there. I ordered an Iced Chai Latte and it wasn't good- no flavor. I didn't taste it until I got to the car and not my style to have them fix it. I ordered it the same I would at any other place, with nonfat milk but there was barely a chai taste so definitely disappointing. Service did not stand out. The person who took my order was efficient but not welcoming. The person that handed me my drink at least smiled. Anyway, the 3 stars is for it looking like a cool hang out and I like the vibe. Maybe tea is not their thing; perhaps their coffee is better.

Came here looking for a hazelnut flavor coffee and was recommended the hazelnut white chocolate. My drink was way too sweet and I couldn't taste any coffee. Besides that, staffs were friendly and clean environment.

I stopped by Grouchy John's Coffee and was pleasantly surprised by how great the experience was! The coffee is smooth and flavorful without being overpriced. Their prices are really affordable, especially compared to other local spots. The staff was super kind and welcoming, but the shop itself has a really cool, relaxed vibe - perfect for studying, catching up on work, or just hanging out with a friend. There's plenty of space, good lighting, and a cozy aesthetic that makes you want to stay a while. Definitely a hidden gem in Vegas. If you're a coffee lover or just need a chill spot to unwind or study, Grouchy John's is worth checking out!

Will you be open on thanksgiving?

Hi, We are closed on Thanksgiving and will reopen at 5am on Friday.

Is indoor seating available 24/7 yet?

As of now they close 9pm everyday, but drive thru is 24/7

Is this a good place to study? If so are there outlets?

I think it's a great place to study! It's not crowded like Starbucks nor as noisy. There are outlets as long as you pick a table alongside the walls 👍🏼

Could any of the drinks be made with decaf?

    Yes they can!:)

Does this location still open at 5am?

I'm not sure what their current hours are - but the drive thru is still open 24 hours.

    What are there vegan options?

yes! vegan milk and i saw a vegan muffin:)

What do they put in there bulletproof coffee?

Every serving of bulletproof coffee includes a tablespoon of kerrygold organic unsalted butter & 1 tablespoon of MCT oil (Now Sports brand, which consists of coconut & palm kernel oil).

We used to like einsteins bagels but over the years it got mass produced and artificial so we stopped going. This is probably what einsteins used to be before it was a chain. Everything was fresh, the bagels were chewy and soft on the inside and had a nice crunch on the outside. We ordered the chicken salad, two egg and bacon breakfast bagels and a cinnamon toast bagel with cream cheese. I will say the chicken salad was a little over salted for my liking and i wish they put some sort of acid in it, like pickles, i also wasn't wild about the capers. But overall it was definitely a good sandwich. Breakfast sandwiches were perfect. We ended up taking some bagels back home with us and this will be a regular stop for us. First time at El Bagel and WOW -- consider me officially converted. I'm a Bay Area guy who usually camps out at MGM properties when I'm in Vegas, so I had never heard of El Bagel until this morning. I ended up at Fontainebleau for a client meeting, spotted this place, and thought, "Quick breakfast, why not?" Turns out it was the best decision I made before business even started. I love the whole concept -- Fontainebleau bringing Miami flavors to Vegas without me having to fly across the country or deal with Miami humidity. Walking up was easy, the line was long, but it was one of those 100% worth it lines. The place is spotless, the staff looks genuinely happy to be there, and the menu is simple enough that you don't need a dissertation to order. The bagels? FRESH. HAND‑CRAFTED. Everything is mixed, rolled, fermented, and baked in‑house every single morning. Daily classics + rotating flavors + premium add‑ons like thick‑cut bacon, cold‑smoked lox, sliced turkey, smashed avocado, and yes... caviar. Vegas loves a little luxury. I ordered the BLT -- Bacon, Avocado Aioli, Romaine Lettuce, Oven‑Roasted Tomatoes. My client went for the Lox Supreme -- Cold‑Smoked Nova Lox, Plain Cream Cheese, Tomato, Cucumbers, Pickled Onion, Capers, Dill, served open‑faced like the star it is. We paired it with two Lavender Lattes because we're professionals... with taste. Total was around $50, which is pretty standard for Vegas, and honestly? Worth every dollar for the quality, freshness, and flavor. El Bagel is officially my new go‑to bagel spot on the Strip. If you're in Vegas and want breakfast that actually hits -- this is the move.

And if you get there before 8, as we did, there's no line and bagels are fresh. Service was meh, but it's just an order at the counter. Prices are Vegas, but breakfast for 2 for $35 is not bad here. For some reason--I blame Sawdelle's--I always have to have a bagel and lox when in Vegas, so I've become something of an aficionado. I have to say, El Bagel's version rated 5 stars--everything bagel was perfect, salmon was more like sushi grade than chewy, capers, thin spread of cream cheese, cucumbers tomato, pickled onion and the fresh dill on the top was the touch! Fresh, well balanced and delish!!! $20 The hubs got the bacon breakfast sando and when he saw mine, he said, "why don't I just order what you order?" It was fine, but not enough i fs (doesn't look like the photo at all). No tap water and a bottle of water is $8, so BYOH2O. If only for the lox sando, El Bagel's would have received 5 stars.
