Mika was the barista and she was so friendly and patient giving us welcomed suggestions. I had the BLTA Bagel with a Cubano Latte (Cinnamon brown sugar), adding a salted cold foam. My other half had the Breakfast Burrito and Hazel Snow (White chocolate hazelnut latte). EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious! We were happily impressed. Local neighborhood coffee that sells lattes for $8. Small and otherwise cute place which could be much more if staff was friendly. I showed up on a work day and as a first time customer asked what latte do they recommend and was told that everything is on the menu. I tried pleading with person behind the cash register that maybe they can give recommendation but no. I picked almond blossom latte and then proceeded to wait close to 15 minutes to get it....well there was nobody ahead of me and two other people sat inside who were already served. A gentleman from the back came up to take our order and he was not friendly! Zero smile, we asked for suggestions and he gave none. We wandered over to this spot and it looked pretty busy. So we came in, were immediately greeted by the staff, and saw a handful of people in this spot, so we knew we had stumbled onto something good. After a bit of deliberating, we got 2 double shots of espresso. The staff was pretty patient while we were making up our minds. But we settled on the old faithful option. I usually experience sticker shock with some of the prices around town, but these were all reasonable. Since we sat and enjoyed a lazy Sunday, we got to soak in the atmosphere. Nice and chill with some of the people coming in and enjoying a beverage and a light bite, a few doing takeout with their caffeinated options, and also some people picking up to go orders. The staff was nice, efficient, and friendly...interacting with us and the regulars. I don't enjoy giving small coffee shops anything less than five stars, but this place was just very lackluster. The almond latte was alright. The pastries are made by another place which are kept frozen and then the coffee shop thoughts them out and serves them. Nothing super exciting about the lattes. I ordered the Stacked Triple Club Sandwich and the Cuban Iced Latte. -Stacked Triple Club Sandwich I loved the sandwich! I like that it was made with 9 grain bread and the lemon zest arugula and garlic lemon mayo really added a special twist to the a classic club sandwich. The lemon really helped to brighten up the sandwich and make a filling sandwich feel fresh. -Cuban Iced Latte I really enjoyed this latte! It was creamy and had just the right amount of sweetness for my liking. When it comes to my lattes I do not like when it feels watered down and this one was not at all. Leaving Las Vegas we were looking for a place to get a breakfast bite and some coffee. My wife found two places and I chose this one initially for the price compared to the other one. I made a great choice. Cozy sized shop close to the freeway in the Henderson area. I just loved their Cuban Latte. Its on the sweet side but that's what I liked and the taste of the cinnamon was not overpowering but you knew it was cinnamon. I got the 12oz and told the wife, damn should have gotten the larger size. I also got the breakfast bowl that was very tasty and wasn't sure about the spicy mayo, but it made the bowl and it was the bomb. You can also get it in burrito form as well. Friendly employees and we even chatted about off road accessories and lights for our vehicles. Drink: I was super pumped to try this place out after many recommendations from my friends. I was really excited to try the taro or thai tea and they were sadly out of both. So I got the iced matcha. Service was very slow, whoever the manager is or who did the staffing should be responsible. I ordered 2 simple drinks on the menu and took a total of 25 minutes. Both front staff were shuffling the recipe binder which doesn't show any confidence or it's their first day. The only one that was quick was the back kitchen staff who runs the kitchen by himself. Awesome find on my vacation in the area during Christmas. The sprit overall in this place is wonderful! Not just the holidays, but they are so personable and warm. One feels like part of the family from the first step into the shop. Spent that morning with both a refresher and iced green tea. Lovely. There are are a number of seating options, including some cozy chairs and a couch with a table where my mother-in-law and I spent the morning on our tablets and enjoying the vibe. Well attended, here are games and even a tV screen where everyone couldn't help but watch The Grinch moving. Good place to bring the kids or just enjoy the food and drink offerings. We stopped in to Daily Spark one morning on our way to Copper Cat books. The shop is super cute. Small, clean, bright, with lots of seating options, and charging stations. We ordered simple, the Hazelnut snow latte and a Cuban coffee. Both were really good, but the Cuban was next level. Hints of cinnamon, and notes of chocolate, and even a little brown sugar. This is something we'll come back for again and again. The Hazelnut snow latte was really good, but just a touch too sweet...generally not a problem for me, and I'd definitely order another one. Service was polite, but a little scattered. I think they had just maybe hit a busy streak. We went to order a large Cuban, hot, and were told that they were out of large cups. no worries, we'll take a medium. As our order was being made, the same person went into the back and got a whole sleeve of large cups. Again, not a huge issue, but attention to detail is important. We wouldn't have minded waiting if he wanted to go check in the back before we paid. Maybe they are used to people being jerks about waiting. All in all though, it was a good visit.
