The guys that work here are very nice and they really know their stuff. Every time I go in they remember my name, and anytime I have questions they are always more than happy to answer them. I've been to many different supplement stores over the past few years, and this one is probably one of my favorites. I generally don't go to any other place now that I've found this one. Big thanks to all of the staff! I'm definitely going to keep coming back and be a regular customer. Great hours too. Open early and close late, no matter if you're going before work or after the gym you will be able to get here. They also have some pretty amazing shakes and fresh juices that they make to order. I found this place recently but now make sure to visit at least once a week. They have great smoothies and a great selection of supplements and health bars. Have had the berry smoothies, peanut butter, and today tried the PB&J smoothie which was delectable. Staff is always cool, friendly and welcoming. Very friendly and helpful staff!! I had a couple questions about the protein powders and the staff was very direct and helpful.

This place is legit I've been twice so I should know. First time my homeboy Alex served up the Almond Crunch protein shake like a champ and it was delicious. Second time my main man Anthony did the same thing. What more could I want? A few chairs to sit in outside while enjoying the shake of a lifetime? I laugh at the people who complain about the smoothies. It's called POWER ZONE! Common sense would dictate what they're all about. Anyway, their smoothies are nom nom nom delicious. And they carry everything one could possibly need for a protein packed, gym body lifestyle. And they learn about the products so employees will always have an opinion. Power Zone is fantastic! I love this place! I've been coming here every day for my post-workout protein shake because they are next door to 24hr Fitness (what a great location!) for almost two months for the following reasons: -High quality protein shakes made with fresh ingredients. -Friendly and knowledgeable staff. -Excellent selection of products. Power Zone has an incredible selection of protein shakes made-to-order (and made with fresh fruit unlike BodyFactory across the street with their sugar-soaked frozen fruits), fresh squeezed fruit and veggie juices, a wide variety of protein bars and more supplements/powders/etc than you can shake a stick at. To top it all off, the staff is genuinely friendly. From the Manager Alex and the Assistant Manager Manuel, to Kyle, Wesley, Aleksander, Evan and all the rest (sorry I can't remember all their names!). I really have to point out how incredibly knowledgeable the Manager, Alex, is and how he will go out of his way to help you learn and understand more about health, diet, fitness and all of their products. He took almost an hour out of his day to give a major knowledge transfer to me, walking around the store explaining different products, and I took down 17 pages of notes on my phone on a great diet plan that has been really, really excellent. On top of all that, he has gone out of his way to ask me how it is coming along when we run into each other at the gym next door. I'd recommend Power Zone for anyone looking for a friendly, knowledgeable place with excellent quality ingredients and products. read more

In the course of the past two weeks, this was my third visit to the PowerZone and each time, the attitude of the manager Alex was unfriendly and apathetic. I felt a lot of tension with the employees while I was drinking my smoothie and honestly I couldn't wait to finish it and leave! A smoothie bar should be a place were you relax after your work out, that Alex makes it awful and uncomfortable. I will be taking my business across the street to BodyFactory where they are friendly and treat their customers with respect. Alex needs a major attitude adjustment! Called about a particular product and was put on hold by two employees for around 8 minutes. Had to hang up and called back again and informed the current employee the situation. No apologies whatsoever and some awkward silence followed. Guy says he's checking right now and they don't carry it within 4 seconds. Why was I waiting 8 minutes for? Come here almost everyday before my workout to get a drink. It is very neighborhood friendly and everyone who is employed their is very helpful and nice. Hey always remember who you are and make you feel at home. Also, they are all well versed in what works and doesn't work when it comes to work outs both pre and post.
