It was a lot of "this is what your insurance covers, this is your copay " after procedures it was a lot of "actually your insurance did not cover it and this is what you owe" I took my business elsewhere after I kept paying for things that did not add up. The last time I receive dental services was 11/2024, Fast forwarded to April 2026 I get a call from healing dentistry in 2026 (17 MONTHS LATER) and a voice message saying I have a balance and if I don't pay in 2 weeks, it will go to collections. Healing dentistry has NOT sent me itemized bill or final notices via mail or email. One charge to my insurance was for cancer oral screening, which by the way should come standard during a cleaning, which my current dentist by the way does. My mental health and credit score is greater than $200. I understood that and had no issue with it. Recently, my doctor prescribed me an antibiotic that is considered safe to take while receiving laser hair removal. Out of courtesy, I let the clinic know before my appointment. That's when I was told their policy had changed and they now don't allow any antibiotics, regardless of the medication or whether it's considered safe. I understand that businesses can update their policies, but it's frustrating to have the rules change after I've already started my treatment plan. If a policy is going to change that significantly, I think existing clients should be informed ahead of time. Because of the new policy, I wasn't able to keep my appointment, even though the medication I was prescribed wasn't originally on the list of restricted antibiotics.

However, if preserving your own tooth is important, run from this dingy office and find a doctor with advanced equipment who is focused on saving teeth through proper endodontic treatment rather than wrongfully diagnosing a vertical tooth fracture and insisting that extraction and an implant are your only options. I'm so glad I trusted my intuition, sought a second opinion, and saved my tooth. They even sent my CBCT scan to a radiologist who also incorrectly stated that I had a crack and that the prognosis for the tooth was poor. There was no vertical crack. The real issue was a short crown with leakage underneath it. After only two weeks of treatment, I was already showing signs of bone regeneration, and the tooth was successfully treated with a root canal performed under a microscope using a laser and the latest available techniques. Save your natural teeth, not a couple of dollars. Your natural teeth are far more valuable. Otherwise, you may end up paying even more for unnecessary extractions and implants. Stay away from this place!
