Even when there were renewals and confirmations in order from the clients doctor, they did the leg work of contacting the doctor themselves which is a big help for me so I don't have to call and wait, as I'm not a medical facility. My client who needs a lot of physical accommodation stated that the technicians were nice and patient with him which I think is important, as I did not accompany him to testing. Only thing about here is the building shares sort of little coffee snack shop, often found in business buildings or offices where multiple providers work out of. This one's shop is just paltry. It looks like someone just went to the supermarket and put some snack bags in there and then that same person brought their coffee maker to serve of some coffee then charge you for it. It's just kinda inadequate when I've seen much better at other buildings. Unfortunately you'd better grab your coffee and snack before coming here or you'll be stuck with the options here, no place else to go. If you're coming for imaging though, hopefully it won't be any issue with staff or a limited coffee shop.

This time, I reached out and shared with them the claim information that said it was paid by my insurance, including the day they cashed the check. They thanked me and said they would reach out if they needed to. They never did. Now, in 2020, I just received a letter from a collection agency with a false charge and had to prove, again, that they received compensation for their work over a year ago. A center that falsifies documents so that they can push their billing hassles onto a collection agency for them to do their work is a business one should avoid at all costs. Pun intended.

They changed my appointment three times without notifying me. Every time I called to confirm, they couldn't even find my information. I was forced to repeat my phone number and email over and over to multiple staff members who clearly had no clue what they were doing--constant holds, transfers, and excuses. As a result of their incompetence, I lost $500 in wages for absolutely nothing. Twice I was given the wrong address and I even told them 445 Chestnut St. in Edison New Jersey is an empty field. Twice they told me Edison New Jersey when it is Union New Jersey! This place is run by mental midgets who I would never ever never recommend them to anyone unless I really didn't like the person. The imaging technician was lovely and patient, explaining what was going to happen and making conversation, which made the entire visit fly by. (She's the reason for four stars instead of three.) The CT scanner appeared to be state of the art, while the x-ray machine also seemed to be of a current generation. It was a pleasure to undergo two sets of imaging procedures, and I was in and out within 20 minutes.

The office location is convenient, although challenging with the many 1 way streets in the area. I recommend checking the map of the surrounding streets to see where you actually need to turn to be able to get into the parking lot. After some very in depth questions about why we were there, she was able to quickly assess what may be happening and offered a shot to help with the pain. Almost two weeks later I am in my doctor's office and the results are not there even though I called TopLab several times in advance to make sure they were providing the results to my doctor immediately to no avail. In my doctor's office, his nurse had to request them and then TopLab faxed pages where some of the results were not legible. My doctor called them and asked for an important specific result and they wouldn't give the doctor the information he requested over the phone. The dispensary is not very clean and the person taking blood laid the empty vials on a hand/arm of the chair which is touched by every person coming in and not a hygienic surface. When I mentioned it, the nurse said it is ok, it didn't fall on the floor. Find another lab for your bloodwork.....
