I had imaging done in August of 2025 and was never informed that the facility was not Tier 1 under my insurance or that multiple studies would be performed during the same visit. I later received a bill for nearly $1,000. I submitted a formal dispute and followed up multiple times over the course of several months. No one responded to my emails. Instead of addressing the issue, the account was sent to collections while it was still under dispute. This entire situation took nearly 8 months to resolve, required multiple phone calls across different departments, and caused significant and unnecessary stress. While the balance was eventually reduced after escalation, it only happened after the account had already been sent to collections, and I am still not satisfied with the outcome. Overall, this experience reflected a lack of transparency, poor communication, and a failure to address patient concerns in a timely and appropriate manner. Patients should be clearly informed of potential costs and insurance implications before services are performed, and disputes should be handled before accounts are escalated to collections. I strongly recommend asking detailed questions and confirming coverage and facility tier status before receiving care here.

I spent alot of time trying to make sure they received the authorization the week before & 3 days before which I was told was still pending. Then the day before my appt i spent too much time again trying to confirm & get through to a person. My doctors office spoke w a woman in the Authorization dept the day before & confirmed it was approved & had the Authorization # & then I had to call back again because the canceled my appt. Now I have to reschedule the appointment again. After they canceled me I rescheduled and I was told I was all set! I did all the paperwork online confirmed the appointment and then I show up after drinking the prep and I'm not on the schedule. Not only that, they didn't even have a cat scan machine, they were getting one installed that day but still made my appointment. It doesn't make any sense to me. I am still waiting to get my cat scan, im in the waiting room over an hour & 1/2 after they told me to be here. Now im told they are with another patient. Im very upset!

They picked up the phone quickly, we're empathetic with my concerns, scheduled an appointment for a me within an hour and, when I arrived, I was taken to the X-ray area right Away. My tech, I think his name is Nish, was professional, put me at ease despite my issues with sharp pain and got the work done in short order. I was really grateful and impressed. Clean rooms, excellent patient service by a sharp, professional staff, quick results ... my doctor called me with the news that I broke one rib but it wasn't a displaced fracture. All good except for the annoying aches. Highly recommend these folks for the quality, efficiency, and medically accurate service they deliver. I received a call back within 10 minutes from the time I called his office informing me that Dr. Hirsch would meet with me during his lunch break. What doctor does that??? For a medical facility, especially one handling scheduled imaging, this level of inefficiency and lack of preparation is disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not return and would recommend that others confirm all requirements in detail before scheduling or arriving.

I had had an open MRI there about 7 years ago (AFTER they insisted I get into the closed unit first to try it--did not work for me!). The place feels deserted (and I can see why). The building has water damage over the entrance and generally is not in good repair. You have many choices for MRIs. Don't pick this one.

I was very nervous, as I hadn't heard good things about this particular hospital. However, I was VERY surprised. Not only did I receive excellent care from patient, kind, and compassionate staff, but I was also treated by a doctor and nurses who were familiar with my relatively rare condition. This made a huge difference and made me feel very comfortable. Their care was compassionate, effective, and top-class. Very pleased!

I went to Hackensack from there where they kept me for a week. The only thing Chilton is good for is to give you a Band-Aid.
