She's great at making you feel like you are sooo lucky to have her as a photographer. She charges $5700 for an engagement photo shoot, 8 hours of photography on day of with 2 shooters (herself and a friend). We were traveling from out of town for the engagement photos. It took multiple emails (like 5) to get her to respond to a date that could work for us so that we could buy our flights. Our engagement photos weren't great. She tends to shoot from below, which wasn't the best angle for my husband or me. There's very little direction from her (I.e. put your hand on his chest). She does do a good job of feeling like the photos she's taking are fabulous during the shoot. On the day of, she likes to claim that she "takes charge" which I thought I'd like. She's not lying, she takes charge but doesn't pay attention to the schedule. She made me 30 min late to my own wedding bc she was taking pics and not paying attention to the time. My family actually said they thought I was getting cold feet. I kept giving her the benefit of the doubt but we finally got our photos over 3 months after the wedding. I cried when I got them, and not for a good reason. The photos are terrible. They're unedited.....there's trash in the background of my bridal portraits that she chose to not edit out. She put a filter on all of them but it just washes us out. I do not have a single one of my mom and me that's in focus. She took a million of my husband and me but I can't find one that I like. It is truly disappointing. I don't have a single photo from cocktail hour, no photos of our signature cocktail signs, no photos of our beverage napkins. It's like she was just shooting random things that aren't in focus. To top it off, multiple people came up to me and asked who my photographer was bc she was so crabby during the day. I will be asking her to edit our photos...tbd. I would never recommend Mishelle.

I don't think it's always been this way with Mishelle but I believe the quality of service/work has gone downhill and it should be noted for the prices being paid. Non responsive up until wedding day and multiple ignored messages. When we did talk I could barely get a word in or share our vision. Showing up late/distracted on wedding day. Didn't get many of the family portraits that were outlined, odd angles/lighting/bad editing/blurriness in photos that doesn't seem normal for a 15+ year experience photographer. While I will say there are some good photos, overall we were disappointed in our experience and the delivered work for the amount paid. There are many many anecdotes I could share that reflect our experience but overall, the day and 'edited' images reflected a lack of passion, care, or attention to detail. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but for a once in a lifetime event, the photographer experience is very important and unfortunately Mishelle missed the mark.

The camera came back super clean. He was able to bend the shaft back into shape, adjusted the bushings, and checked all the functions. The focus is much smoother now. He also packaged the camera very carefully. In a world where skilled camera repair professionals are becoming increasingly rare, Dave Easterwood stands out as a true master of his craft. If you're in need of camera repairs, I wholeheartedly recommend his services. You won't find a more knowledgeable or dedicated technician anywhere else.

We had a horrible experience with Rawlinson Photography. They sent a $100 credit via email, but on…read morethe day of our wedding, he asked for the $100 back. He threatened me that if I didn't give him the $100 back (claiming it was an administrative mistake), he would leave our wedding. It was so stressful.... He was very rude, unwilling to go over any details, and not very organized. When we received our wedding photos via mail (flash drive), he sent the wrong event photos (NOT OUR WEDDING). He then insisted that I had to physically drop off the flash drive at his location and pick up ours. When we received our photos, the lighting was bad, and the photos were awkward, candid shots. He did not take the time to make sure we looked good in them, which was disappointing. Additionally, none of the photos were edited or polished. It was like he just showed up, started snapping photos like a child with no care or professionalism, and then just downloaded them to give them to us directly. We had to edit our own photos, because he said we would have to pay an additional $1000 to get any edits. Also, our package included a final print, which he did not honor, so I had to go elsewhere to get a professional print of a photo of my husband and me (after we edited ourselves). First, Chris' website has two of the most crucial elements: pricing and portfolio. I could see the quality of work I was going to get and how much I was going to pay for it. Sold. Second, I submitted an inquiry via Chris' website and got a very fast (less than half an hour, I believe) callback to schedule a time. He was very accommodating with my schedule and quick to answer my questions. After the session, the quick processing turnaround time and easy access to the photos was much appreciated. One aspect I really enjoyed was that Chris really gets to know people he's photographing for corporate shots (this probably extends to weddings, etc. I'd imagine). Their profession, how they want to come across, the kind of attitude they want to express, etc. He can then instruct and guide you so that you have the best experience possible. My fiancee had won a 3-hour Boudiour photo shoot in a raffle at a bridal show and secretly had herself photographed in some tasteful pin-ups. Though I was not a part of the shoot, she told me Joel (the photographer and owner) had made her feel very comfortable (allowing her mother to attend and playing music from her IPod), and that's incredible because of the fact that my fiancee is not an outgoing or confidant person. After the shoot was over, she invited me to Eclipse to pick out the photos I wanted. in addition to being a wonderful photographer, Joel is very personable, full of ideas and stories and overall a person I would have great difficulty in not liking. He spent a couple hours with us, giving us his insight and allowing us to decide which photos we absolutely needed. The only criticism I have is that actually recieving the prints took longer than I had hoped, though I can't fault Joel too much, as he has a lot on his plate, both professionally and personally. In addition to boudiour photos, Eclipse offers Engagement, Wedding, Senior, etc. A lot of Joel's incredible work is on display in his intimate little shop on Biddle Ave and he offers a large variety of options for your finished works (prints, books, canvas, aluminum). The sky really is the limit. Like I said, Joel is a wonderful artist, passionate about his work and very friendly.
