Our mini golden doodle has been going to Vicki's for 4 yrs and it's the best decision we ever made for him. He can't wait to see his doggy & wrangler friends every week and the ranch is a doggy heaven. A few standout things to note: *Vicki and the wranglers are extremely professional and are true dog lovers. *The pickup and drop-off service is really convenient, especially if you have an early start at work or need to go into the office. Our dog absolutely LOVES pickup and drop-off. He sits by the window waiting for the van to pull in and then is overjoyed when the wrangler comes to the door. *Our mini golden doodle always (and I mean always) comes home happy and tired. The ranch provides a space for our dog to run around and socialize to his fullest. *Quick communication and easy tools to schedule & message. Whenever we have a change in plans or need to drop a quick note, Vicki's team are quick to respond and always look to provide solutions or collaborate. * A special extra thing they do is celebrate birthdays and holidays. The pictures are SO cute and the dogs all genuinely seem happy when they celebrate.

We LOVE Rascal Ranch. It is the absolute best dog day care in existence…read more First, I love that they pick up and drop off from our home. The convenience factor of Rascal Ranch is very high. I get our pup dressed in her harness in the morning, and she's picked up between 9am - 11am dependent on the day's schedule. Second, they put a huge emphasis on safety which provides great peace of mind during the day. Third, our crazy, rambunctious Vizsla is actually tired when she gets home every day. It's usually enough tiredness to carry her through the weekend after a full day of ranching. Vicki and her team are incredibly professional, the pick up/drop off is seamless, and they're very helpful if I ever need to cancel or recheck Lena ranch day. Plus, I get adorable pictures of Cinnamon and her friends uploaded to a Google photos album every few days!

We were evaluating a new doggie daycare provider and came across Andy's Boarding Place. Upon contacting him, Kevin walked me through his thorough evaluation process to ensure that our dog would be a great fit for this place. He wanted to make sure our dog was comfortable as well as the other dogs that were already boarding there. Since our dog is super social, he had no issue with passing the eval and we were able to get him set up with daycare right away. You will do a 1/2 day of daycare first before you can start leaving your pooch here all day or doing a boarding session. Kevin's prices are very reasonable and he is very responsive via both text and email. We get plenty of pictures of our dog throughout the day and whenever we have a daycare/boarding need, we can just email him and he is very accommodating with our schedule and our needs. Kevin makes sure that our dog never gets any food that is not approved by us and will feed the dogs at scheduled times, separately. For boarding, the dogs get to cozy up directly on a human bed, which makes them feel like they are at home.

We were looking for a facility and caretaker that particularly screens each dog, maintains a controlled "home-like" environment with open play and was accommodating to dietary/health/general needs. The screening process was strict but with good foundations, our dog passed with flying colors, and it's nice knowing the rest of the boarding family has done the same. Funny enough, Shinji was so attached to Kevin that he chose him as his human pillow during his initial overnight trial and that's when I knew he found his new "buddy and happy place away from home". Now he recognizes the drive and arrives with cries and wags even months between visits. Shibas come with great quirks though, and it was a blessing that Kevin welcomed ours with no judgment. Shinji is very play-driven and uniquely has a silly preference for doodle and herding dogs, and there is no shortage of those among a diverse range of family dogs in Kevin's boarding family. Kevin operates independently and it amazes us how open he is with communication and concerns while caring for his boarding groups at the same time. We get many videos and texts while we are away, and we are always confident that our dog is in great hands.

Personal Touch Pet Au-Pair - Myself and my girl's, Training Dogs

I fell for the pandemic puppy trap earlier this year when I decided to get a puppy! Seeing my…read morefriends' dogs and cute puppies around, I only assumed it would be great to have a companion in my life. Little did I know that cuteness overload comes with a lot of responsibility and struggles, especially since I live alone, and have never had a pet in my life. In fact, as a kid, I was extremely scared of dogs! I knew I had to get a trainer when after the 2nd week, I started feeling overwhelmed with my puppy's energy and tantrums. Thankfully I found Diane! She has been a great mentor if I could use this word to guide me through my pup training journey. We had two formal sessions - 1st one was a 3 hour phone call where she patiently answered all my questions and gave me 100s of tools and things to buy and learn to build a "puppy training toolkit". The 2nd session was a 3 hour in person training session where she introduced training collar and other tools and showed me how to stop certain behaviors. The best thing is that Diane has been kind enough to answer stupid and repeated questions from me over text or phone at any time of the day. If I've felt overwhelmed, I've always had comfort to know that I have a personal counsellor/mentor available. Diane shared a lot of tools, tricks, and methods - most of them work great, some don't - some do, but not always - but that is just because each dog is different and each dog-parent relationship is unique. I am just glad to have all those tools and information available to tap into whenever I run into any challenge. I feel super confident in my puppy's training and the fact that I have all I need to train my puppy well, thanks to Diane! My puppy Zoya has been sleeping safe and sound in her crate from day 1, and sleeping all night from the moment I reached out to Diane. Zoya is fully potty trained, and walks on leash like a confident yet obedient queen! Diane is extremely knowledgeable about dog behaviors, illnesses, eating habits, and tantrums - and I always reach out to her first, before I reach out to my vet! I trust Diane, and I promise you will also!

The stars aligned in bring her to us because she is more than a rockstar dog trainer & coach, but she is a trusted member of our family who I hold at a high level of respect. She helped us organize our apartment so that our puppy could be introduced into our space over time, she taught us how to walk our dramatic doodle for the first time, she helped our doodle meet a pack of his own during his walks, gave us food, supplement, and toy recommendations. She walked us through what to do when our puppy was misbehaving and incorporates a firm, yet loving technique so the dog knows who is boss. I can still hear her voice in the back of my head, "Christine you need to be firm, he cannot win." Puppies test your patience and Diane truly is our advocate in learning how to not only redirect his actions but build confidence in being first time dog owners. I've learned more in the months with Diane than I could have ever learned through a book or online. I am forever grateful to her, the bond that she's helped us create with our dog, the bond that she herself has created with our dog, and the continued guidance she offers as we continue to grow. I would recommend Diane to my friends and family.

They truly love all the dogs they care for and treat them like their own. Our dog Roxy loves going for day care and comes home exhausted. Nothing beats a happy, healthy, and well socialized dog. Roxy is a small dog (7 lbs) and they were very careful when introducing her to the rest of their pack and other day care pals. They made sure to slowly introduce her to the larger dogs so that no one got hurt or scared. Now, Roxy is so comfortable that she greets all the new shy puppies, helping them feel at ease and socialized. If Pam is walking your dog, she's really good about taking photos and texting them to you. Not everyday, but every now and again so it's a nice treat. Sharyn isn't as tech savvy, but we still adore her! When she drops Roxy off, she usually walks them in packs of three, so you get to meet the other dogs, which is a treat because they are all sweet. We are so lucky to have them take care of our little pup. We know that Roxy is in good hands.
