Extremely unprofessional, I had been driving in my lane on the freeway on the 163 when their employee almost rammed into me. They crossed a solid white line into my lane with no blinker because they couldn't plan for the double dottted white lines that portray their lane exiting for over a mile. Seems like they just have no regard for safety, other people's time, and especially money. If I hadn't slammed my breaks, they'd have a 16,000 bill easily. Our experience with Precision Aquatics was not a good one. This was our first time owning a home with a pool, so we really relied on our pool service company to upkeep it and let us know what needed to be done. If I could rate them on a scale of 1-10 I would give them a 2. Our pool technicians were always so kind, however I don't feel that the best job was always done. The owner completely lacks communication with his customers. Most recently, I had questions about our pool because it was in really bad shape after a rain storm and the technician hadn't showed up that week (the rain had passed on our pool service day). Dustin completely ignored us. I called, texted, and emailed with no response for weeks. They just sent out an additional technician to help out I guess on the following visit with still no communication. I was mind blown. I finally got into contact with his wife via email but the damage had already been done. Lastly instead of helping us fix the pool, he cancelled our service stating they were cutting routes and no longer servicing our area. This was a blatant lie because every Thursday we see Precision Aquatics driving down our street, we just saw them at 1pm this afternoon. We recently switched to a new pool company and they are AMAZING. They send receipts for anything they charge you for, every week we get an email update on chemicals added to the pool, a photo after the cleaning, and any advice they have for us. They also sent 6 guys initially to get the pool back in shape from what Precision Aquatics wrecked. My advice to any other North County homeowners with a pool, do not waste your money or time on this company. Dustin does not care about his customers or your pool. Wow. You can call Dustin and Casey with ANYTHING. They came out in less than 24 hours(again!) and cleared a badly clogged filter line like it was child's play. I struggled with it for days with no results. I don't know why I try to do everything myself... In addition, they replaced a cracked pool valve with a new one, and simplified my old system. The motor even runs quieter now with more suction than before. Like I said before, call these guys with anything that is giving you pool headaches. When our pool guy went M.I.A. after filling our remodeled pool and left us with no instruction on what to do next we were forced to find someone who could help us. The last thing we wanted to do was shell out another few hundred bucks for an educational service appt. but desperate for some help. I have recently had my pool resurfaced after having it fall into disrepair for the last 2 1/2 years. The re-plastering company was very difficult to deal with but in the midst of that mess I found Dustin at Precision Aquatics. Where the other company was hard to deal with/communicate with, Dustin was super easy and informative. He always kept me in the loop and was Johnny on the spot to give me a quote on a new variable speed pump and on the start up for when the plastering was finished. I couldn't even be home when he could come by to look at my system as I had to work. The time frame that I had to work with because the plaster would be going in soon was also really tight. The re-plastering company would not give me any timelines so that I could coordinate the necessary nest steps. Dustin was still able to accommodate that craziness and get the job done on time and done right! He has texted me and called me to let me know when to expect him. He even answered my husbands crazy questions and even impressed him which not many people do! Now our system had become quite nasty after having sat for so long. Despite the yuck factor in flushing out our lines and in replacing the filters, Dustin worked hard to get it up and running. I now have a nice Pentair variable speed pump, new filters and a shiny "new" pool. He even did the start up on my dad's pool at the same time since we both were having re-plasters done. My old heater rusted out on me a week before the kids second birthday party and the pool was a swamp. Had a loud constant speed pump and a half-ass timer with manual valves so when I wanted to filter the pool I had to manually move valves and tinker with it periodically throughout the day. I was living in the nightmare of pool ownership and when we go to sell the house in a few years, no one is going to want to take on that burden. So I figured I'd get some quotes on a new heater, variable speed pump, and automated valves with a reliable control system. I manage subcontractors and procurement for a large engineering firm so I am not an easy customer. I got quotes from Precision Aquatics and another pool repair company. I also got a quote from Leslie's because they had a $99 install special going on. Dustin from Precision Aquatics was the first guy to stop by the house. He spent a good amount of time evaluating my system and going over options with me. The next bidder came over and was gone in less than 5 minutes, didn't really give me the confidence that we were on the same page. Then went to Leslie's and had to pull teeth to get a firm quote, they wanted me to pay to have someone come out and do a preevaluation. After all was said and done Dustin came in about $100 more than Leslie's, even with their install special but not including the reevaluation which would have put Leslie's even higher, and I knew Dustin would go above and beyond to make sure my system was top notch; he's just that kinda dude. Plus, the control system he recommended had the added feature of allowing me to turn my spa on from my iPhone and it was the same cost as the Leslie's one and cheaper than the other company. Dustin and Dwayne redid all of the piping and reorganized everything to make it look clean and tight. Dwayne works for Aquatic Specialties and was helping Dustin out to speed things up. They got it done and even cleaned the pool up so it was ready in time for the party. Since then Dustin's stopped by a few times to answer questions and help me fine tune my controller. Now my pool and spa are always clean and ready for a dip. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and with the professionalism and speed of Precision Aquatics and Aquatic Specialties. read more

We've tried a few different pool service places over the years and haven't really felt the need to go back to them for various reasons - pricing, upselling, difficulty with service. So, we had a leaking pool, had to shut down the pump, and ran into the green slime problem. I came back to yelp to run the gauntlet again and found Precision Pool guys. I saw Isaac's review (same problem) and thought I'd give them a whirl. I'm very pleased! Dustin was able to check out our pool and gave us a straightforward answer of what our problem COULD be and the two scenarios that could play out (luckily, ours was the cheap one!). Next day he was able to come out, fix the problem, and was the FIRST pool person to say our filter looked good and didn't need any additional service (which we knew, but FIRST POOL PERSON TO BE HONEST!!!). I really am impressed with this company and definitely will recommend it to everybody. From the time I called, it passed about 24 hours and the heater is working great. Well after 5 years or so of good service I started having issues with my quality of service. I complained to Dustin that his employee can not clean & maintain my pool in 5 minutes. So he started staying 10 minutes. Takes me a minimum of 30 minutes for my 20'x40' pool. Then other issues came up & after complaining again I was told to find a new pool service because he doesn't want to come to Fallbrook anymore.
