The aren't quite worth the digital pylon sign outside by Louetta Rd. I had put my trust, money and…read moreeven gifted two of them twenty dollar gift cards each to Chick-Fil-A. I didn't think it would come to this two-star review. At first the mechanic did so well I even left compliments. He was quick, efficient and neat although he didn't clean nor grease the lower control arm screws for the $450 one hour job. He had pneumatic tools, a hoist and an electric lift. After the installation of lower left and right control arms he moved on to the alignment. The car kept pulling to the right and left. He had done the alignment twice after it still pulled. He sent me to the other location to do an alignment knowing their electric diagnostic alignment device may be working improperly which it was. The car still pulled. Lastly, I was told there was a radial-ply defect in the front tire which caused the car to pull. I went and got new tires. The car still pulled. Then they told me about the road crown referring to the engineering of the road which may pull me towards one side. I said, "Could you put the new tires on the front to see if it solves the issue ?". He said, " It'll be twenty dollars ". I was done at that point. They clearly are not deserving of the two twenty dollar gift cards to Chick-Fil-A - I had even asked them where they like to eat. They just couldn't get it right. It seems they couldn't handle the pressure and made up reasons as to why they didn't want to work on the car anymore. There are several components to suspension- bearings, bushings springs etc. They aren't straight forward as I was being the customer. I tried being nice- they saw it as a weakness and took advantage of me. I made everything easy-too easy ! Cars cars cars ! I went back to the other location and they did the alignment again- it was off after one day. I asked them if their alignment device was spec'd to the car make and model- it was not. He left me with a slightly off toe adjustment in hopes it would suffice for the pull. A day or two went by and I brought the Newton-meter specs for the screw bolts to a third location. They didn't have a manual nor digital Nm tool. I went to the fourth location who had the tool. The car was much better after spec'd but still drifts off. This location was the only one who told me that the thrust was off despite the alignment done three or four times. They also spotted a problem with the shock. The other locations weren't as full-proof. I had to use AI to and tell them what they weren't doing. Then they checked the wheel hub, power steering potential leaks, tie rod etc. Lastly, the fourth location broke my armrest. I even found scratches and marks on the rear bumper after leaving this location.

After the diagnostic, I was quoted $2,700 for a clutch and flywheel replacement. When I declined the repair, I was told I owed $350 to retrieve my vehicle -- a diagnostic fee that was never disclosed upfront when I agreed to the diagnostic. I questioned the pricing because the parts quoted were significantly higher than OEM-equivalent parts available from reputable suppliers. Instead of a clear explanation or written breakdown provided in advance, the situation escalated. I ultimately paid the fee under protest in order to retrieve my vehicle. I understand shops need to be paid for diagnostics, but fees should be clearly disclosed before service, and customers should not feel pressured when they decline repairs. I strongly recommend getting all diagnostic fees and estimates in writing upfront before using this shop.

I Had my wife and my mother in law with me, but not our bags! They were in another hotel & we were paying 2 hotels for one night! ( I wonder if our bags missed us? Lol) anyway, our hotel was about all there was around us and ever time I googled "auto repair near me" it gave me Lafayette ( which was 49 miles away & the truck squealed & popped like the wheels were coming off! I googled again & it gave me Spring Texas accidentally assuming " near me" meant I was at home...in Spring Texas ...so Google accidentally gave me " Eagle Auto..." Jeff let me know I was too far for them when I gave him the hotel's address! I had no idea he was in Spring! That would usually be the end of the call right? Not so with Jeff.. he found a five star shop...five minutes away....by using his computer to help me out. The shop was great to us ...good price good work...friendly service....and quick enough for us to get back to our other hotel before the check out deadline for another night for our bags, lol. Thanks to Jeff, a horrible experience turned into a thankful one. He really went the extra mile for complete strangers and non- customers. If they'll do this for us....imagine what they'll do for you. Sincerely, Chris Clark Owner Tropica Interior Plant Services 832 884 2316

Now they did unintentionally fix the door without realizing so I saved myself $1400, but They have TERRIBLE customer service especially for a customer service buisness I'm so very disappointed.

We brought our 2012 Acura TL with a bad fuel pump (trash in fuel) in Aug 2023. Auto Care USA…read morereplaced with aftermarket Delphi pump (100% markup by the way) that failed immediately after we drove off with fuel gage error. A known issue for Delphi fuel pumps we found out later from others. Also, the radio instrument panel did not work afterwards. To their credit they replaced the pump and somehow got the panel back on, but with another Delphi fuel pump. Later (earlier this year) we found out during an emissions alarm diagnosis (at a different shop specializing in Acura repairs) that the fuel pump had failed again (cracked and leaking). We chose to go with a genuine Acura fuel pump replacement and during removal discovered that the Delphi fuel pump was incorrectly installed by Auto Care USA as it was missing a key gasket resulting in the pump cracking and leaking. We told Tom at Auto Care. He requested an invoice from the repair shop and we offered to bring him old part. Tom did not dispute the failure and oddly did not want to see the old part. Since we had not heard from him, we asked for an update and he just said you should have brought it back to us. No refund. Now why would I have brought it back to Auto Care as they would have given me another Delphi to fail AND would they have missed the key gasket again? Do the right thing and refund us our invoice for the original repair. We will leave the cost of the emissions diagnosis out. Simply admit you made a mistake, which was an error and omission, not a defective part; and don't use 'part warranty' as a reason not to pay us. And in the future don't use cheap highly marked up aftermarket parts for critical components like fuel pumps. Their website says....Superior customer service, honest advice and fair prices, as well as performing high quality work are of the greatest importance to us. Not in our case.
