I called up and they told me they would be glad to help me out. I had feared that it was going to cost a fortune because of what I had done, but it turns out it wasn't as bad as I feared. I had fortunately found the missing screw in my car just as I was about to walk in, I looked down and there it was. In about 10 mins they had fixed my damage, and replaced both nose pads and sent me on my way. It was very nice that they didn't even charge me for this repair as I didn't actually break anything like I thought I had. I would certainly return if I lived in the area based on the service I received, even if they had charged me for this small repair. Give them a try, they have been in town for 20 years.

When I went to check out I owed $98.50 on my kids and $35 on mine. $425 of mine cost was also taken care by insurance. The girl did not understand and accidentally rang up $425 on my card. When I said was wrong she refunded it. I told her because she did that there would not be enough money to cover what I owe because rather than refunding the difference of what I owed to what they took. Then they said that because I did not have the money to pay for my Sons glasses (Remember they have $425 on hold until the next day) the manager said I would have to give them back. I told her that they already charged me $425 I did not have any more money in the account. She said need glasses back. I said I have already paid $525 on $600 glasses. Then she said I think I own the place and walk and don't talk in that tone to her. (I will admit when I get pissed my voice gets louder as it is loud anyhow). I said a few choice word and tossed my kids glasses at her. I was no longer allowed in store. I grabbed my kid and as I was leaving I said all you needed to was wait until they put the money back in my account then I can clean up. I left. Then I was told no longer allowed in store. Now I admit I can be an ass but not in this case. They made the mistake. They compounded it. And then treated me like I walk room to room and I quote "own the place". My son was in one room and I checked on him. I had to pee so I went to the bathroom. The last time I went to a room was to get the woman who did my glasses order to verify I only owed $35. Dr Amy is great but her manager is awful and rude. Yes I went off on her but only after she said I had to give my sons glasses back and did not want to here what happened. Don't use Lakeside for yourself or your kids. It has truly gone down hill.

However I received bills in the mail for things that we're already paid! There's a $20 charge they gave me for my insurance which is possible I'm not complaining so much about that. But there's another charge for revisit with the eye doctor which I originally was told was part of the original service and expense. So I don't believe I'll be going back because I just can't deal with these extra expenses out of the blue. But if you have money and not to worry about spending a little extra, people there are nice, glasses are good quality.

It required three different appointments at different times of the day to get the right prescription. Dr. Hubbard worked with me to get the most optimum correction possible.
