We had been looking to go Solar for the past 9 years but the costs did not add up enough to take the plunge. A friend of ours recommended Sunbridge Solar so we decided it was time to give it another look. Rachel answered the call and showed up shortly after to start the process. Between collecting power bills, planning the system, and coordinating with all applicable parties communication was great every step of the way. The installers came out and finished within 2-days and over the course of the next 10 days final inspection and installation of our bi-direction meter by the power company. We are extremely happy with the results and with an environmental conscience glad to know we are reducing our dependence on "the grid". Finally once all had been up and running Rachel came back to do a walk-through of the entire system and help streamline our use of the 'Enlighten' app to ensure we were set up correctly to also receive automatic alerts 'if' the system runs into any issues. We recently purchased a house that needed a new roof. We also had solar panels on the roof, but the company that installed them had gone out of business. I reached out to Sunbridge and they gave a fair quote to remove and reinstall the panels. They ended up working in conjunction with my roofer to get the mounting brackets installed prior to the new shingles being placed. This was much more efficient and even better protection against leaks. I worked with Jordan and his communication was fast and efficient. The crew that removed and reinstalled the panels were very friendly. Since we didn't own the house when the panels were originally installed, a Sunbridge crew member gave us an overview on the panel, how to see the panels are working on our electric meter (when it supplies power and when we are using power from the grid), and how to use the smartphone app to monitor the panels. All in all they were quite friendly and easy to work with. read more

My wife and I decided after tons of environmental and economic research to get bids on a whole home solar system. We received 5 bids - one that included a new roof and system, the others only solar. I can tell you that the one that included a new roof was incredibly high and the sales team was beyond pushy and I am a sales rep... One of the other companies had a guy come out who just started to complain about his day and was not personable. That left two others and Sunbridge. Mike our sales rep from Sunbridge came in and broke down all stages of the quote and was very responsive when we had questions. They were not the cheapest (cheapest is not the best.. usually) but when we learned how they give back to third world countries and their amazing staff it was a no brainer. The crew: They clearly communicated how they were going to make conduit runs and ask for my approval. They cleaned up very well at the end of the day and did a great job. I contacted four solar installers in the Portland area. One didn't respond. Another tried to pressure me by offering a discount ONLY if I signed up during the initial meeting. No thanks. The other two both had impressive presentations, but Sunbridge Solar offered the more affordable quote. Justin helped me choose a system that would meet our needs, and Matt was great at managing the installation and answering all my questions. One thing I would suggest to anyone considering solar is to pay the little bit extra for consumption monitoring. It's really useful to see our solar production contrasted with our electrical use, and it makes the whole system feel more tangible in our daily lives. We will eventually be using Sunbridge to add a charger for an electric car! read more

In 2014 we put solar on our property. Sunbridge was recommended by a coworker and they did not disappoint. Jordan and the team were a breeze to work with. They did the paperwork for us for the tax incentive which is super nice. The pricing was competitive and they were able to schedule us in a timely manner. It was a fairly noninvasive process for installation and it is very efficient. All of their calculations were accurate and we have maxed out the tax incentive benefit each year. Additionally, in the years since we had it installed they have been continually helpful with any questions that we have had and help with answering questions regarding the tax incentive. I ended up recommending them to a friend who then chose them over other companies as well and has been very pleased with her results as well. This company is fantastic. If you are even remotely thinking of getting Solar, DO IT. These guys are the absolute best, hands down. We started thinking about solar and within 30 days we were watching the energy roll in. They are fast! They do the paper work for you, they source their solar panels locally (can't say that about the "big" names in Solar) and they have better warranties then their competitors. Their free monitoring software is awesome! It really makes it rewarding to see how much energy your are making at any given time from your phone. As a company, they also do great community service that I think makes them a cut above the rest. read more

We'd give them 10stars if we could! They were spot on: knowledgeable, experienced, efficient, neat, quick. They handle everything (permits, appointments, everything!) and the price is inclusive (sales tax, permits, all equipment). They worked smoothly, did a clean job, and even the placement of the meter and panel box was good (visually centered on the wall; aligned with our other panel). All we had to do was be home to open the garage door. They made all the information very easy to understand and access; had clear and timely communication with us. AND their price was substantially lower than the other estimates! Our personal system was installed in two days and inspected and metered in two more - not usual timing, as both the inspector and local PUD had to fit us into their schedules, but that is amazing: 4 days total. They are a socially responsible company, installing solar in Nepal and Columbia. This is one of the best companies we have ever done business with! read more
