I had first called precision imports because I was looking for a reliable shop that could work on older models of Mercedes. My 1998 Mercedes S320 W140 had a leaking head gasket that I already knew about and was thinking of repairing we talked and decided on doing a whole engine swap of a newer engine with low miles and they performed a great job! Very quick and reliable, finished it all in a week! Engine is running smooth and they were sure too only make repairs to only what was needed. I took my car to this place because of the reviews but I definitely regret it. They charged me 800 to repair my front axles and my car continued to shake. When I took it back they told me it was going to be over 600 for new rotors and breaks! I took my car to the dealership and they told me I didn't need new rotors and even they though it was a total rip off to charge over 600 for a break job! The people here are as honest as they get. This is my second time coming to this establishment. The first time I came here they were very helpful in doing a D.M.V approved brake inspection for a salvaged vehicle. They were very honest and passed the vehicle as I had just installed new brakes on it. Another place located in Rancho was lying to me and saying I needed to redo the entire brake system .They were charging me $2000. This second time the outcome was not as I had hoped but Michael was very nice and honest about the repair that the vehicle needed. It was a substantial amount but I didn't doubt their diagnostic for a second because I know the history of the vehicle. It has been driven hard. He was very informative about my options and in the end I decided not to chase bad money with good money. Somewhere else they would have been more pushy. Was really happy with the service that I got from Laville and Mike here! My water pump, timing belt, and engine mount failed on me at ~150,000 miles. I called ~25 auto shops around the area, and Mike gave me the best combo of service and price! They were really open and communicative with everything, and it felt like I wasn't being upsold on extra repairs. Just an updated review from my original. I've been taking my car here for years and thankfully I don't have to do it often but when the need arises, like it did last week, I don't hesitate bringing my car to them. I had a few warning lights come up on my Audi A6 and then the check engine light. I brought it in Friday morning and they had it done by 5pm the same day. That's cool and all but where they have always, in my opinion, exceeded expectations is their service. Everyone has always been nice and welcoming. I've been bringing my vehicles here for around 4 years now and couldn't be more happy. I had a number of issues on my 2006 GMC Sierra right after I bought it used . Michael and his team were always able to diagnose a fix every problem , now 3-4 years later my truck runs like new without issue. I also bring my 2009 Honda Accord here , which has 286k miles on it and has never even had a leak thanks to the great work they do. They never try to over sell me , they give me their honest recommendations and opinions but never nothing more . There are a few things I can do on my own like o2 sensors and oil changes at times but when it comes to anything more there isn't a company I trust more with my vehicles. Once again Mike proved how an honest, reputable mechanic can alleviate the doubt and stress that comes with surprise mechanical issues with foreign cars. My 19 year-old daughter was a nervous wreck about what she thought was an oil leak in our 2012 Mercedes C230. Be very careful here! 1. I called to get a quote to fix my car. They quoted one price and then raised the price by almost double after they took my car apart. Very Inappropriate. 2. They let some filthy dirty auto mechanic " I will name him Dirty JZ " work on my car. He spilled oil all over the engine compartment that ended up coating the bottom of my car and began to drip all over my driveway when I got the car home. 3. The same dirty mechanic left greasy hand prints on the inside! and outside of my car. Unbelievable! Read some of the Yelp reviews and decided to take my daughters VW Jetta in. We were experiencing some oil spots on our drive way and needed to find out what was wrong. I was greeted in the office by Michael, he was very nice and told me he would do an oil change and look at the possible leak.
