Best service around! They have taken good care of all my cars for over 25 years. I won't let anyone else work on my cars

Very professional and honest. I'm so used to jiffy lube and the prices here are much more reasonable. I would recommend Precision.

On the billing side, their invoices are straightforward, and their troubleshooting process makes sense. All in all, Frank's is an excellent local garage.

It's true what the other reviewers say -- Frank's Automotive Repair is indeed awesome…read more As my car starts to age and in need of some automotive TLC, I've been looking for a trustworthy and dependable independent shop. I'll admit I was initially skeptical of the glowing reviews for Frank's Auto (we are talking about an auto shop here, after all). But after having them perform a couple of extensive repairs on my Acura, I TOO have become a fan (and also now understand that one other reviewer and how he was 'sad' when he moved out of the area and couldn't use Frank's Auto anymore!) Keith is about the nicest guy you can run into. He is very responsive to your questions and clearly knows his stuff. When he can't answer your phone call (again, he himself is in the shop working), he calls back pretty quickly. He has finished the repairs in the time span originally noted. The repair costs are very reasonable and he does a great job explaining pre and post repair on the breakdown of the costs.

I'd honestly give zero stars if at all possible. This place…read morehas really gone down hill over the years with no regard for proper customer service. 12/8/25 I dropped off my bmw to have the catalytic converters and o2 sensors replaced, I trailered my own vehicle there instead of paying for a tow because the old converters were completely clogged and not work risking the engine damage. Upon arrival I had zero problems starting the car and unloading it off the trailer and driving it to the back lot and let it idle for 5 minutes while I put all my straps away and went inside to give my info. 12/12/25 I go to pick up the vehicle with full intention of driving it home, I pay $700 cash (I supplied my parts) go out to the car and it's got no power (it's winter maybe batteries dead no big deal) they help me jump the battery's car starts and has a plethora of service lights( abs, service 4x4, parking break malfunction) accompanied by a rough idle. Already knowing I just got ripped off I asked one of the guys outside what all they touched and got " not my problem" in return followed with "we didn't do it" when I referred to the service lights. I went to leave and the vehicle stalled in their parking lot resulting in needing jumped again. I'm now stuck with a tow bill, the $700 I was charged for them to screw up car and a bill with a mechanic fixing their errors. Then I had to ask for a receipt as if it's not common business practice to give a customer a receipt when a bills paid. I brought you a car I was able to unload off a trailer and leave with a car on a flatbed tow truck because it can't even be driven up on a trailer. This is a joke of "service" you guys took $700 from me and left me with an inoperable vehicle. I will be perusing legal action if this issue is not addressed in a timely manor.

I brought my wife's 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit in for new brakes and rotors. A few weeks…read morelater, my wife noticed the brakes were making a squealing noise during turns so I brought the vehicle back to have it inspected. I was charged $100 just for them to look into the issue. What was most concerning was learning that when the brakes and rotors were replaced a few weeks earlier, the shop chose to install lower-quality aftermarket parts rather than OEM parts. The original components on the vehicle were OEM, but instead of giving us the option to choose, the service advisor of Indian descent told me they used cheaper parts because OEM parts were "too expensive" and would make them less competitive. That decision was made without our knowledge or approval. When it comes to critical safety components like brakes, customers should always be given the option and informed about the quality of parts being installed. Choosing lower-quality parts to save money--without discussing it with the customer--raises serious concerns about quality, safety, and reliability. At the very least, we should have been given the option to replace the parts with OEM components or informed beforehand about what was being installed. Instead of rectifying their original mistake they shifted focus to other parts (pins) that still didn't address the issue at hand. Hence, I would not recommend if you're looking for honesty, quality, safety, and RELIABILITY.
