Be aware, even after Precision sent a tech to determine the scope of the tub work -- and they said they ordered parts -- two weeks later and they do not respond/no one answers their phone -- and we are left to start over and choose another vendor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE RIPOFFS!! Nick is a liar and thief. I paid him to change out a blower in my hot tub. He installed it incorrectly and the blower burnt out. He said he was going to replace it and he took it with him but then the pandemic hit full force. He lied to me for months saying that the part was not available which was a total lie. When I kept calling him back to find out when he was finally going to do the repair he ended up blocking my phone number and not taking my calls so it has not been fixed!! I really don't know what happened to them because I've used them in the past and everything was great. I gave them a glowing review but no more! Nick fixed my almost 30-year old Jacuzzi hot tub really fast. He showed up on time, quickly found that the pump was rusty, leaking and stuck; he ordered and got a new one within 2 days and immediately installed it. He also replaced the water in the tub and made sure that everything worked. At one point I thought that the heater stopped working and Nick was ready to come over immediately. It turned out that it takes a long time to worm up the tub from 55 F to 104 F. Once it reaches 104 F the controller keeps the temperature. read more

This place is a total rip off. They installed a panel for $1000. When it stopped working they sent the same guy who installed it who was 4 hours late. He then told us someone had been screwing around with our spa which is ridiculous. He said we needed a new panel which I told him we shouldn't have to pay for. He told us he'd call us the next day. Of course we never heard from him. I have since tried calling the company several times and they never answer the phone. I have left 3 messages. I plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau as well. read more

I recently called Precision Spa to come and look at my hot tub because the jets just stopped working. Within an hour of me calling, Matt and Nick came out and assessed the problem. My hot tub is over 13 years old, so the main component was very old and had burnt out (literally)! Since I don't open any of the electrical boxes under the spa, I had not noticed that the entire part was charred! Matt ordered the part and within a week, my hot tub was up and running again. I am so thankful to both Nick and Matt for the immediate attention and customer care they provided! I now have them coming every week to service and keep my Hot tub sparkling clean!!! I contacted Mats at Precision spa to replace a control panel and motherboard... a big expensive job. His guy put the control panel in upside down. Along with that, the panel, which had a one year warranty, didn't respond to touch controls. I tried repeatedly to contact Mats and have him stand by his work. He never responded to my calls. Paul was meticulous and a thinker to figure out the installation step by step using a very simple installation manual. He replied to my initial inquiry within a few hours, was out two days later to give me an estimate and withing a week he removed the 25 year old equipment and did a complete installation of spa equipment, all on budget. I am a very demanding customer but when I had a problem he came back, figured it out and put things right, all at no charge . I am so happy with Precision Spa! Totally honest! First I have to tell you the horror stories about the other service companies that I called before Precision. One threw up his hands and said he couldn't fix it - Still sent a bill. The next one quoted $700 for parts plus a new heater, for a barely one year old spa, so I wanted another opinion and called Precision. They came immediately and found there was nothing wrong other than a dirty clogged filter. No heater needed, no "motherboard" replacement, no fortune to spend on unneeded parts. Nick was impressive, in this case, not for what he did to my spa, but what he didn't do. I had self-diagnosed a circulation pump problem because of a noise that sounded like it was going out and was prepared to pay for a new one that Precision brought to the job. But Nick took a look and said no, not the problem. He said an anchoring screw had come loose and it was just vibrating. Put in a simple wood screw and it stopped. It's like going to a car mechanic where you're at their mercy. Good spa guys who know what they're doing are hard to find. You need an honest one. That's Nick. read more
