I Called in for a quote to get my rear window tint removed and replaced. The employee who answered the phone first tells me the outrageous price they charge just to remove the tint and then he proceeded to start making fun of me and making jokes about how I can go to TJ Mexico to get it done for $25 if I want a lower price and started to laugh at me. VERY unprofessional and very bad salesmanship. I will never come to this company again for anything. I recommend going to any other shop that will take care of their customers and take them seriously. He lost a good paying customer who had a few other people willing go to get theirs done too if it came out good. Should be fired for pushing away customers and having a bad attitude. read more

I unfortunately got pulled over for window tint among other violations... Being that it's the closest tinting spot near my place I went here. They did 2 of my windows very fast ($10 per window) and they we're very friendly as well. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone. I plan on going here to get them retinted. read more

Had an 830 appointment... I was there but the staff wasn't. I waited 20 mins and then left. They never called to tell me my appointment was cancelled or if they had an emergency and could not open. They didn't call to see if I wanted to reschedule or apologize. I'm very disappointed since I waited two weeks for this appointment. I'll be going somewhere else. read more

Had the old tint on our car replaced here last week. The old tinting on the rear window has bubbles all over and looks terrible (not to mention dangerous!) we searched around and got quote from several places and decided to come here for great service and awesome price! Needed a break from the heat! I called Precision after one of the car dealers recommended them. They delivered as promised tinted all the way to edge of the window, the job was done while I waited in less than 90 mins. Juan even pointed out that there were some loose screws inside the door trim which must have come loose from a recent repair we had done at a local body shop? Anyway he pulled the entire door panel and replaced the missing screws at no extra charge, great service! The Windows look great, no bubbles it looks like it was done at the factory. Coming from the North East, I never found a need for window tint...until I moved to California. Found myself driving around Thousand Oaks in a new car with the sun beating down on me. We were planning a trip to Palm Springs the next day so figured I could use some window tint. Jumped on Yelp and came across Precision Tinting. They were closing in about an hour. Juan was great and stayed late to do the job. Tint came out excellent and the price was right. Couldn't believe how great the car looked afterwards. Realized I had been driving around in a fish bowl. My husband went in to Precision Tinting today hoping to get his truck windows tinted. Let me say my husband is a very friendly Irish guy who likes to talk and ask questions. He asks questions because he is genuinely curious about almost everything. As he was dropping his truck off, he began asking Juan questions about the procedure, such as if the panels come off during process, how far the tint goes down on window, things like that. Then he left to grab a snack while he waited for his truck to be done. As he was walking back to the shop he decided to snap a photo of his truck while it was being tinted for facebook (he's like a kid with a new toy). Juan saw him snap the photo, he then told my husband he is refusing his business as he instructed his employee to stop the preparation on his truck. He said he didn't want to create any problems for his business. My husband was stunned, Juan said he did not feel good about continuing the service. Is this because he asked questions and snapped a photo???? My husband did not deserve to be treated this way, and has never experienced anything like this in his life. Juan misjudged him big time. I'm confident that this was the best thing that could have happened. He went down the street, got his windows tinted by a very professional company who did an amazing job. My advise to anyone who goes to Precision Tinting.... do not ask any questions regarding what will be done to your car, and by all means DO NOT snap any photos of your vehicle while your there, unless you want to be HUMILIATED and asked to leave the premises. read more

I thought I got a great job for a good price, but after months and month of whistling noises in the back window, I took my car (brand new from Toyota) to the dealer to fix it, when they took out the window, the insulation part had been all torn up with a razor when the tinting job was done. I had to pay $150 to have it fixed. and when I showed the manager at precision, he denied it and did nothing for me. I will NEVER go back. and I am sad because they previously had done good work for us when there was another owner. read more

This is possibly the worst customer service I have ever seen. They tinted some glass for me for a customers house. After promising the completion three different times they finally completed the glass late one night. They never called to tell me it would not be ready was always me that needed to call. Never once returned my calls when I left messages. I looked at the glass the next morning in the daylight when I arrived at the customers house. the glass was full of scratches and bubbles. I called Juan and he said it would go away in a day or so. A week later they were still there. I have stopped by his shop three times and called at least five times over the last month and a half. He continues to make excuses and has never gone out to look at or repair the work. Never once has he called me to make an appointment to look at the glass. I told him I would have to get someone else to repair it and his words were "Go ahead" I told him that I would bill him for the cost of repairing it and he replied "go ahead and try". Terrible business man terrible work and showed no responsibility or willingness to repair the bad work. I hope that people will read this and think twice before using him. read more

CONSISTENTLY THE BEST! We've been getting our cars done here for years either having the tinting put on or taken off after a ticket and put right back on again. (Tip for those tickets...all you need is a note from your eye doctor that you must have dark tinted windows). Anyway, over the last 15-20 years I can say we have always had a GREAT experience with Precision Tinting. Used by every dealer in the Auto Mall this is the place you want to go hands down. read more
