They do offer drop-off for the night before. It worked out okay, but it felt a little unsecure. There is a slot for dropping in the key, through the garage bay door. My concern is that if you drop the key, it lands on a slat in the door, which any random person could reach by putting their hand through the drop hole. So I ended up throwing my key through the hole, which felt a little janky. Checkout was fast and easy. The lady behind the counter aimed to please, and cut a deal for me just mentioning that I saw a coupon online (no need to print out or show on my phone). They're close to my place and so far the tires have been doing well. Would come back.

My tire was repaired and I was charged $30, which was not bad. I got home and checked to see if I had a warranty on my tires . I did and it stated that all repairs would be free for the life of the tire. I called the store again, spoke to Mac, explained the situation, and he said to bring the paperwork back with me so he could sort it out. I arrived, handed him my paperwork, and he refunded me my $30 in a matter of minutes. All in all, a quick resolution to my dilemma (tip: review all paperwork for any type of warranty information and have it in hand when seeking service). Mac was pleasant, professional and I will suggest anyone who needs tires or repairs to tire bought there or elsewhere, to give them a try.

They performed a courtesy inspection and showed me what needed work on the vehicle. I chose to wait for my repairs and the place was neat and clean inside and out (even the bathroom) which is unusual for a repair shop. They had free water and coffee and even a seating area (bench) outside if you prefer They even offer a loaner vehicle. I only wish I found this place sooner!

I went to Reliable for 6 years - and was always happy until my past couple of visits. They kept my…read morecar for FOUR HOURS for an oil change and did not tell me that a tech had been injured, causing the delay. when I called at hour 2. If you would've told me that someone was hurt, I would've taken it back the next day. But that option was not provided and then I was made to feel bad about it when I complained that the appointment took so long. They also misdiagnosed a problem with vibration in my vehicle. I ended up replacing the front struts, which probably would've needed it down the road, but it was not urgent or the cause of my problem. They also quoted over $500 more than any local shops for the struts. They were even more expensive than mitis! And they wanted a down payment as a deposit for the work. I've never seen this before. Not just here but anywhere! The kicker is that it was not the struts at all, instead there was a driveshaft problem that they should've seen because I asked them to look at the alignment, steering, and rear differential. They also missed the fact that a rear strut was leaking during that same check (which should've been obvious if they were actually checking the rear differential fluid). When I called to ask why the service was so inconsistent with the actual issue, and to see if they would issue me a refund based on the extra work I had done because of them, I was hung up on. I'm not sure what's going on with the manager but she used to be a very nice person. Not lately. Don't get me wrong, are used to rave about this place. I even took down a five star review in which I joked that I hope they did not get too popular because I liked getting good appointment times. I wish this place was good. They were good for a long time. Not anymore. Watch yourself. Who asks for a deposit especially from a long term customer - over six years I've been going there and always trusted their suggestions and prices. Maybe COVID has affected the way they do business.

The service receipt listed Kai and Darryl B as the technicians. Monday morning, while turning onto FDA Boulevard en route to Silver Spring ( nearly an hour away), the vehicle experienced a critical failure. Multiple warning lights illuminated simultaneously, and the engine began to smoke. Upon inspection, the vehicle was found to be completely out of oil. This created an immediate safety hazard and left us stranded roadside. We were forced to coordinate alternate transportation via another fleet vehicle to reach our destination, and ultimately had to obtain a loaner vehicle due to the condition of the van. This incident reflects a serious failure in basic service execution and raises significant concerns regarding whether the oil change was properly completed at all. The level of negligence involved placed occupants at risk and could have resulted in severe engine damage. This experience demonstrates a complete lack of quality control and regard for customer safety. I strongly caution others against trusting this location with their vehicle. This matter is being documented and may be escalated further due to the potential liability and safety implications involved.

This is what I get when I bring my vehicles to Jiffy Lube for oil changes. Jiffy Lube doesn't require an appointment. A lot of the time I base my visits on driving by and seeing there isn't a line. Usually I am in and out in less than 30 minutes. Jiffy Lube changes my oil, lets me know what else they may have noticed during the change but don't really try to sell me things I wasn't planning on when I came in. This is a far cry from other quick oil change places I've visited in the past. Price wise, Jiffy Lube seems comparable to other businesses in the area that specialize in fast oil changes. I will continue to visit this place for my oil change needs until they give me a reason not to.

I brought my car in for the Maryland Vehicle Safety Inspection. After doing my own research, it became clear that not everything on the list of repairs were safety-related or required by the state. Only after pressing the issue did the mechanic (named Malik) agreed and revised the list, which already raised red flags about trustworthiness of this shop. The experience only got worse from there. I dropped my car off early the next morning, as instructed, and called later in the day to ask Malik when it might be ready so I could arrange a ride. Instead of a simple, helpful response, I was met with outright hostility. When I asked, "Do you expect the car to be ready today or tomorrow?" Malik curtly replied: "Your car will be ready when it is ready." I asked my question a different way. Malik replied with the same exact response, " It will be ready when it is ready" I tried to explain that I just needed an estimate to plan my transportation. Malik responded "What part of what I told you don't you understand?" This level of rudeness and unprofessionalism toward a paying customer is completely unacceptable. Clear communication and basic respect should be the bare minimum, especially when you're entrusting someone with your vehicle and paying for their time and expertise. I cannot in good faith recommend Fell Point Auto to others. There are plenty of competent and respectful auto professionals in Baltimore , Fell Point Auto isn't one.
