Saturday morning, 8 degree F outside. Went for on oil change, opted to do a tire rotation. They couldnt get 3 tires off, donkey kicking my car and taking a sledge hammer to it for over 10 minutes. They damaged the tie rod and track bar doing so. Refusing to take responsibility. Because i dont have them on camera doing this they believe they wont be held accountable. Aye! This team is highly professional and efficient! The staff working at 2:30p today were kind, professional, gave clear instructions and straightforward on the invoice. The setup is new to me. We stay in our vehicle while they service it instead of sitting in a lobby. The environment is clean and tidy. It's pleasant to observe how the staff respectfully communicate and work with one another. I checked-in on yelp and was offered an additional 15% off code. I also don't appreciate the "manager" having a loud conversation about some "shit" tasting like "karo syrup" with my kids in the backseat. An employee directed me out of the bay giving me the all-clear, only I wasn't and extensive damage was caused to my motorhome! I typically go to the dealership for my oil changes, but I was in need of a quick oil change before an upcoming road trip, so I stopped in at Valvoline. There are 3 lanes at this shop, and when I arrived there were only two cars ahead of me. The technician checked my hazard lights, windshield wipers, and air filters. They also changed my oil for me. It probably took about 20 minutes to have all of this done. I did feel that there was level of upselling going on, but I just politely declined the suggestions that I didn't find necessary. I was able to find a coupon online and that helped to bring the price down a bit. Overall, this wasn't the worst experience, but I would much prefer to take my car to a dealership in the future, as I can get the same services for the nearly the same price. read more

Good if you're in a hurry and don't want to make an appointment. I usually take my work car there because I can get in and out within about 20-30 minutes. The service has always been great when I have gone in. Everyone is friendly and focused on what they are doing, which is nice to see. If there is a downside, the cost runs a little high for the same service you would get elsewhere. However the convenience can make it worthwhile. read more

I've been here many times with multiple vehicles and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I've always received quality service at an affordable price. My only negative would be the speed. They are much slower than other Valvoline locations or Jiffy Lubes I've visited. I'm not sure why they are so slow, but it's consistent across visits. Hence the lose of a star. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! They charged us for an oil change that they didn't actually do. They told us our coolant levels were full when they were completely empty. After we left Valvoline our check engine light came on so we took it back. They said there was nothing wrong and they somehow reset the check engine light which came on an hour after we left for a second time before our 800+ mile holiday trip. They put our lives in danger and the integrity of our car. We took it to our trusted family mechanic in VA and they gave us a written statement that our oil and coolant levels had not been touched and were completely empty. They said we have no idea how you made it without blowing your engine... To add to this horrible experience the customer service department said this was all our fault.. I'm disgusted with this company and customer service. We will never recommend this location to anyone!! read more

I'm sure they're good at giving oil changes as my wife's been bringing her car here for a few months. On the day I decided to take it instead of changing it myself. I pull up 3 cars are in the Garage and 2 cars are in the 1st 2 lanes. Who knows how long they're waiting but I pull to the 3rd lane and assumed I was next since the car in my lane was done. I wasn't happy about being asked to move to lane 2 since the car in lane 2 had been there minutes before me. The guy says it's 1st come 1st serve... The guy working in lane 2 made the visit much easier with his humor and helpfulness and managed to get me out before the worker in lane 3 but the beginning inconvenience is what drives me to find another vendor. No other vendor has ever asked me to move over a lane. Welp I guess that's that. read more

I grew up in this area and recently returned for a visit. Because I was driving from one coast to another, my car needed an oil change. I don't normally yelp services like this but the people that worked at this location were amazing. We had just replaced the oil pan gasket before we left for this trip and they found that it was leaking. My oil was dangerously low. They took it a step further or in found out that the real problem was that there were two gaskets and we had replaced only one of them. The second was still leaking.?They also informed me that I have a top off service at any location nationwide so that on the return trip, I can stop at any Valvoline location and have them check my oil/top it off so that my oil does not run low again. I really appreciated all the assistance that they gave me. I highly recommend this location. read more

The wait was a lil longer than I am uses to at Jiffy Lube and they don't vacuum, or atleast not now for COVID. The staff was nice and most importantly I did not feel pressure from upselling. They offer a one time use groupon which is very affordable. My Daughter and I were serviced at the same time and they were all wearing their masks and concerned about our safety pulling out. I go to Valvoline all the time for all our three car's oil changes because they can get done in 15-20 minutes. But today, I went there to have my Toyota Highlander transaxle oil changed. The oil was leaking. Dana was very helpful when I asked her to determine how much oil was lost so that I can assess how bad the leak has been. I know how difficult it is to access the fill and drain plug seeing them myself. She responded to my request for the fill and drain plug size so that I can check the level myself next time. She was very accommodating and knowledgeable, even explained to me the transaxle, front differential, transfer case differences. She even advised me to come back tomorrow so that the fluid level can be checked after driving it for a while. I will definitely come back for quick service, maybe not during busy hours, and knowledgeable & helpful service people. read more

When it came time to check out SHADOW the manger said he couldn't honor my Groupon because each car only has on Groupon allowed per life of the car , i called valvoline corporate and they said that wasn't true . I was able to save $5 with my check in offer, so take advantage of that! They were done before I'd even known they'd started, and the staff was pretty friendly. Good for if you know all you need is an oil change, certainly they try to upsell the living crap out of you. But if you know your vehicle, you'll have the strength to politely decline everything and leave with a $35 oil change. Much better than taking it to the dealer and waiting 100 years and having your car out of sight so they can make things about about what you actually need. Everything was explained and they did a good comprehensive check on the car. While it was more expensive than other places, got a better grade of oil, i think it was well worth it. I've been using Valvoline for oil changes for over a year now. I will say that the staff is always very friendly but I am starting to question whether or not I should go to the dealership for service. It should not take 3 people to locate the oil filter on my car. Just wondering if they are trained properly and qualified to do the work. In over a year, my oil change has never taken "about 15 minutes", it's closer to 40 minutes every time. They either need to be trained better so they are more efficient or they need more staff. If it wasn't for the friendly and courteous service they would have received 1 star read more

My parents recommended this place and it did not disappoint. I was so impressed with the transparency and that they took the time to explain everything to me. I also appreciated them going through a checklist on my fluids, air in tires, etc. They gave me recommendations on things they can do under the hood and how long it would take them to do each item. Told our plug couldn't go back in bc the thread were worn after we heard and felt them rocking the whole car back and forth probably jacking up the threads. They couldn't put in a plug in the car after the oil change. Now instead have a "pan saver" bc they didn't have a plug to fit. "It'll get you to the next oil change". Excuse me? Didn't have a problem before... Thought the coupon was a good idea. Horrible idea. Now we have to probably get a new oil pan bc they stripped the threads completely out. Took a peek underneath. Sloppy job, there's oil everywhere, if there is a leak can't even tell yet bc of the sloppiness they left after their quick-fix, bandaid of a "pan saver". read more
