I was told the diagnosis fee would be refunded to me once the warranty company approved repairs. Repairs were approved, I asked for the refund and was told we'll settle that when everything was done. Five days later I was refunded LESS than half! When I questioned the manager refund the balance, I was told "you need to talk to me like you have some sense" . I was left standing at the counter while the center emptied out to go to the food truck that pulled up. I am pretty sure I bought breakfast for everyone that was there including the employees kid who was set up in the waiting area with his game console playing in the TV. Funny thing is the video playing was some counting out money while trying to quick change the person! Lastly, and entire book of postage stamps were also taken from my center console. I have been a loyal customer here for ~5 years. Always spoke very highly of the establishment and service and PRICE I've enjoyed here. Last oil change I got was Sept/Oct and was ~$74. Had a lift kit put on a 2002 Toyota forerunner that was sitting extremely low because of the weight difference from the rear diff and tow package, I've had one Jeep prior back in 06 that I lifted 3" as well... this was a rough country and it's sitting perfect leveled out just right and it rides smoother then Before I had the lift kit put on.. Called to make an appointment for new brakes and the man who answered the phone was very rude and proceeded to tell me that he would not put new brakes on my particular vehicle. He said "I will not do that for that car, I can, but I won't". We have had good service from them in the past and he did not have to have that kind of attitude with me. If I could give 0 stars that would be more accurate. #1 I trusted this Gunbarrel location to repair my teen son's car... they actually left 5 of the 6 lug nuts OFF the car & he drove home like that .. (so very unsafe & upsetting) when my son was able to drive the car to get a tire he noticed all the missing lug nuts. Precision(Darrell) gave him a hassle until I called & he then said he would send a tow truck. Tow truck came 4 HOURS later (once precision was closed) the next day Darrell said he was replacing the 5 lug nuts and that the tow was covered 100% (obviously because it was their fault)... when we picked the car up Friday @ 7:15pm we noticed significant scratches and a broken fender. Took pics... precision was closed until 8am Monday. When I arrived to find out what happened to the car Monday @8am I was told my Michelle that the car was not damaged when they parked it ourside .. Darrell then came into the lobby & said "we ain't fixing that damage we didn't damage the car & get out of here you're trespassing go call the police & file a report & get off of our property" Darrell also refused to give me any paperwork detailing the repairs done to my sons car. read more

I've used this mechanic for many, many years. Their prices are reasonable and they definitely care about their customers. During the pandemic (last year), not driving much, I didn't visit. Now that I'm back, I see they've adopted the "Express Oil Change" format. I like it; the work gets done faster because the customer is right there in the car waiting. I think the location must be under new ownership/ management. The decor in the waiting room appears to reflect a very personal outlook. read more

My car was making a humming sound. After looking under the car while it was hoisted, they determined I needed a new transmission - to the tune of $4K - $6K depending upon if it was replaced with a used one. They did not drive the car to even listen to the noise it was making. Because they did not drive the car, the diagnosis seemed a bit odd. I took it to a different mechanic who drove it - listened to it - and determined it was wheel bearings (about $350 to fix). I almost was duped out of thousands of dollars! Was Precision Tune simply trying to get my money hoping I would make a rash decision? I have had good luck with oil changes, though! And they are a friendly bunch! But I simply cannot trust anymore them because of this incident. read more

Terrible. Quoted us $480 for a repair. When I picked up the car, the total was now $692! If your thinking of going here for any car maintenance, you might as well go ahead and throw your money down the drain. This place is the BIGGEST SCAM I have ever witnessed. I went in for an alignment and paid $400 for a wheel baron that I didn't need and they didn't even do my alignment. Not to mention they purposely messed my car up and then wouldn't give me a refund for the alignment that they DIDNT do. I was out of town visiting family and saw that I had a small oil leak and decided to have my oil changed and have the leak checked before heading home. Went here because they were running a special for a $20 oil change. First, they charged $18 just for looking into the oil leak... ok fine. Next, I knew my truck took synthetic oil but thought it wouldn't be too much more since they were running a special here on a standard oil change. I was wrong, they were going to charge $65 for the synthetic oil change. Told the guy I paid less than half that last time I got my oil changed back home at the dealership and he told me they must've been running a special. I told him I was going to take it somewhere else. Called the closest dealership and they said they would do a synthetic oil change for $34 so that's where I went. The staff there was nice so that's the only reason I gave this place two stars. Moral of the story: don't go here if you need synthetic! read more
