Traveling to Florida and our AC stopped working. It was in the upper 90's. We stopped and thought it needed just a Freon charge. Our condenser had a hole and they quoted an extremely high price. They also overcharged for the diagnosis. We found out that many places will check it for free! We ended up paying less than half of what they were going to charge. Don't trust their prices! Felt like they were taking advantage of the situation. Go somewhere else. First of all no one reduced the price of anything for us. The man behind the counter was actually rude about it. You cannot write a response that tries to make it sound as if your prices are at all reasonable and you were being 'nice'. We paid less than half to a different auto shop NOT yours. They did not take advantage of our situation and try to over charge us. read more

WARNING! THE worst auto repair shop in the area! Tried to charge me for problems that didn't exist. I went and got a second opinion and thank goodness I did! I paid under $500 for something they tried to charge me over $1300. Complete joke, I will never recommend them, I will never take my car there, be warned, they will try to scam you. My car started leaking radiator fluid a day after coming to Valdosta to have repairs done to my college kids car. I walked in at Precision on a Monday morning and was promptly greeted by Chris who was very upbeat and friendly. He listen to my problem and gave me prices of each diagnostic test they may need to do to pinpoint the leak. Within 15 minutes my car was in the shop and they found a cracked radiator. He broke down the cost before taking my old one out, and gave me the most it would cost me to have the replacement. Turns out my bill was lower due to some lines not being connected to that part which was a plus for me. I got 12 months 12k mile warranty and the whole job only took about an hour and a 1/2. Thanks to Joseph the mechanic for a job well done and Chris was a great person that helped me make light of the situation! read more

To all my fellow brothers and sisters in arms do not come to this place for any kind of services, they are the worst. I'm a Marine and I've been all over the world traveling so I'm pretty used to people trying to take advantage of an opportunity to make money off me. I recently brought my jeep in for repairs. I first thought that I needed an oil change. I spent mostly all day stranded and even replaced a battery before I got to precision auto. I spoke with Chris who at the time seemed knowledgeable of what was going on with my jeep. It was late in the evening and Chris advised me that he would have to charge me for and noise check. I said okay which seemed pretty normal. Well the mechanic didn't have time to check out my vehicle. I asked to leave me vehicle for repairs and was told that the mechanic would be in Friday. I said okay. Well A fellow Marine buddy offered to help me fix whatever is wrong with my jeep. The next morning I went to get my vehicle, Chris tried charging me a noise check that was never completed and storage fees even though my vehicle was outside....wth??? I didn't pay a damn dime. I demanded my vehicle and got the hell out of this place..they will nickel and dime you. read more

The person in the office was very friendly and efficient. The tech who did my oil change and checked my car's other fluids, did not try to push me into purchasing something that I really needed (new windshield wipers) when I couldn't afford to spend more than the current bill at that time. I don't normally write reviews, but I'll make an exception for this business. I have been extremely disappointed in the service I received over the summer. I am still finding things wrong with my car that were perfectly fine before I took my car to this shop. I told them exactly what I wanted fixed on my car. They insisted I was wrong and did their own thing. The original problem continued so I took it back to them immediately. Since they had worked on the failed solution literally all day, I had to go back the next day. Somewhere between them "fixing" my car, they blew several fuses and somehow managed to mess up the wiring ( none of which were an issue before this). After they finally came up with a supposed solution to my car, it worked for a few months. A few weeks ago, my car started driving strangely and was having trouble cranking. Not only did they fry the cells in my battery, but the part they put my car melted together. I was and still am livid about all the damage they have done to my car. Save yourself the trouble (and money) and find a different mechanic. I can assure you it's not worth it! read more

My wife was on the road, and we had a water pump go out. I called ahead and ask how much to repair and was given the estimate of $300. My wife arrived and there so called mechanic checked it and told me it was the bottom water hose. We had them fix it and then they told us the bill was $275. Now I've been in the automotive business all my life, and I've never seen a radiator hose that cost $275 to change and I have checked the parts store pricing, and the most expensive hose for that truck is $57. After he changed the water hose, then he cranks the truck up and says, OOOHH, it is the water pump. I had to tell my wife to just get out of there, so they had to set back out on the road with a bad water pump, some 1300 miles from home, so I would like to warn you not to ever let Doug, or Dave work on your car, unless you just wanna kill some time and spend ALOT of money needlessly. read more
