From the moment I reached Billie (wife) on the phone, I knew this would work out well. Our leak wasn't big, but on a retiree's budget, $200/month jump in the water bill is not my happy place. But, I digress. Back to Precision. Sure enough. Billie explained when I should expect Craig (hubby), how he would communicate with us, what the fee schedule would be, and bing bang boom ready to go. Craig showed up on time after giving us a pre-arrival phone call, we chatted about the issue, he reviewed our water bills, checked out the irrigation and had the problem diagnosed and fixed in under 30 minutes. This is a rather long review, but I want everyone to know how amazing these people are and how grateful I am that I was able to get in touch with them. They saved us so much time and money and I can't recommend them enough. GOOD, ETHICAL BUSINESS PEOPLE STILL EXIST AND CRAIG AND BILLIE ARE SOME OF THEM! 1000% would recommend this company to anyone who may need their services. Craig and his wife were literally an answer to prayer for my wife and I. They are some of the nicest people I've spoken with and they helped us out tremendously. We had a plumber come out and "inspect" our property because our water all of a sudden stopped flowing in all rooms of our house. The plumber basically said, "I don't know what the problem is, so we'll just dig up all the pipes and replace everything. That'll run you about $15,000." I called Craig to see if he can come out and locate our water pipes so we could get the project started. In speaking with Craig, he said, "I don't want to come out and start digging around and cost you a bunch of money for something you may not even need. To me, it sounds like you may have a broken pressure regulator. I'd have someone come out and inspect that first before we come out." Sure enough, that's exactly what the problem was. We got a second opinion, he fixed the pressure regulator, and $1,300 dollars later, the problem was solved. My wife and I were so terrified we were going to have to take out a loan for $20k (including interest) to fix this problem, and Craig solved it over the phone, and he even gave me a referral to a plumber he knows and trusts. read more

Craig is the best! After many failed attempts to have plumbers locate our leak over the years, I called Precision Utility Locating. Craig showed up with a friendly smile and a can-do attitude. Craig performed a leak detection service at our property in Parks this morning. I can't say enough about the excellent service we received. Sometimes it's tough getting subcontractors int his rural area to respond and show up when they say they will. This is definitely not the case with Precision Utility Locating. From the first phone call, Craig was kind and gracious of his time, spending 20 minutes on the phone with me to describe his process and what to expect. Billie (she's the boss ) was very clear in her communication about the fee schedule and setting the appointment. The fees are very reasonable- especially for the quality of service received. Billie followed up with me yesterday to confirm that appointment again. Today, Craig called me after the appointment and gave me a very detailed verbal report of the condition of the property and even made some great recommendations for future improvements. He has a strong construction background and his recommendations were spot on. They work all over the state of AZ. read more

I had a water leak detected by a plumbing co so I called Precision Utility Locating to locate the leak. I made an appt. Craig showed up and located the leak. Since this was a week before TG, it was nearly impossible to get a plumber out, as they were all booked. I was able to get a plumber out (on overtime) to repair the leak. read more

I can honestly say with out a doubt Craig was worthless, never took his hands out of his pockets or bring any equipment out for that matter. stood behind with his hands in his pockets while my husband did all the work, and then requested check for $165 for "NOTHING" and for only being at our home for 20 minutes. I thought at this point this is highway robbery, however I thought I would at least get a report for my insurance out of it, or so you would think. Quite the contrary, when I called Precision Utility Locating and asked for a report she then told me that it would be $250 for a report. I about lost it... She then said I needed to speak with Craig about the report. I called Craig for a report and he said the same thing that will be $250 for the report, I said are you crazy? He them said, we don't do anything for free, would you? I told him that he was a "shyster"! (Definition of a shyster is a person who uses unscrupulous, fraudulent, or deceptive methods in business). I then said, so your holding my report hostage. We'll if your not willing to pay for it, then yes. This company may have good qualities, however their work ethic is unethical. Craig at least called to tell me he was going to be two hours past his window of time to find my leak. The water had already been off for 24 hours. He is friendly enough but very negative. Without getting his equipment out, he looked at my tree and said "That's a big problem". Then he said I had galvanized pipes that were 6o years old and that was a big problem. It turned out they were copper. He located the waterline, but not the leak. He said the water I get from Big Park water company was full of corrosive chemicals. It was eating little holes in my copper pipes, so the pipe was not leaking from just one place. Even if I fixed the outside leak, I was certain to have problems inside because of the corrosive nature of the water. He said, "I hope you don't drink it. It will shut down your kidneys!" For a guy with a great smile, he sure carried a dark cloud. He never did find the source of the leak. I'd have to dig up the pipe to test his theory. Lucky for me the plumber had a solution that didn't include cutting down the tree or repiping the whole house. Big Park water company would probably not be happy about the bad publicity Craig is spewing. I'm not sure if he was kidding me or just whacko, but it's hard to trust a guy who says stuff like that! read more

I would highly recommend Craig for leak detection. He came highly recommended on Nextdoor and we were so happy we contacted him. His rates were reasonable and his service was awesome. If I could give more stars, I would. He even came out after hours to help my husband when he had trouble fixing the leak. His high level of service is so hard to find these days. If there are any negative reviews, I would seriously look at the amount of positive reviews before giving any credence to them. We would recommend him highly to anyone. read more

Billie and Craig are wonderful!!! We had a horrible experience with Art's Locating, so I was already feeling apprehensive. But both of them were so kind, very professional and prompt.
