Essentially the skimmers, lights and drains are inspected for leaks first. All openings are sealed (skimmers, returns, fountains, etc.), then reversed water pressure tested. He found I had two leaks, one return and one in the wall fountain. Since neither are under concrete etc., I will have have a pool guy repair the pvc pipe.... he worked for over 3 hours, was very thorough. Costs are what you would expect from any service, so not unreasonable.

Cannot Recommend Them…read more Had a hot tub installed by Accent Outdoors earlier this year. In July, I contacted our Rep. regarding one of the lights in the hot tub already rusting. Was told that they would get someone out at earliest to fix it. Here we are in November, and still nothing. Have sent multiple requests. Also, during design phase, we decided to have pop up fountains installed, that function every time the pump is running. Wasn't told that because they pop up every time the pump runs, that we could not get a cover for the tub. And also, with any big wind events, the water is blown from the fountains out onto the ground., thus draining the tub. Again asked out Rep a month ago, if we could just cap the fountains off, because they are not worth the trouble. Was informed that they did not know if they could be capped, but would "check and get back to us". Nearly a month later, still no response. When you have work done, such as installing a hot tub / pool, I expect some level of customer service to follow / continue after completion. We cannot recommend using Accent Outdoors

They didn't clean up the area 2 times as promised, their plumber didn't install the salt water system and project manager didn't notice many issues. Lack of communication is the main issue for this group. The salt system itself was left sitting next to the pool equipment not attached at all. 8 months later (as of this posting date) the salt water system has still not been installed and has cost us hundreds of dollars extra to keep the pool at the levels it should be. These extra chemicals wouldn't be needed if the salt system was installed. They didn't even realize they haven't finished our job until they saw we owed a final payment. We're more than happy to pay the final bill when our pool is completed and promised per the contract. There was an issue with the concrete company they used. They left with major cracks formed immediately after they were done. Bolin did address the issue however it took additional weeks for them to argue with the original company. The crews are hard working but extremely dirty. Leaving the entire yard not able to be used the entire time of the project. The left so much garbage and material that was unsafe and a mess. It was hard even letting our dogs out let alone our children to play in our yard. Yes construction is always a mess but leaving safety hazards all around was to much. I've waited 8 months to post this hoping and praying they would complete the job per the simple contract we all agreed to in May 2022.

The BBB contacted Randall in July 2023. Randall stated he would take care of my issue regarding "kool" decking. Randall had 2 contractors come out to my house. Randall didnt follow up with the contractors and won't respond to my phone calls, text messages or emails. It's just been a disaster! I noticed Randall Bolin created a new company "Backyard Fun Pools, LLC". I wdould highly recommend to find another pool company that honors their agreements with customers & provide quality work!

They came back and ran a leak test for an extra $450.00. the pool is still losing water. They told me that I will be on the list and they will be back to recheck it free of charge. And that's has been over a year ago. Well by now I will have to hire another company to find why the pool is losing water. The pool lights also was not hook back up. We had a pool remodel by Everest Pools completed Aug, 2017. We noticed right away that there were…read morestreaks in the stonescape plaster. We were told to brush the pool daily & keep checking the chemicals to correct the streaks. Leo tried to say that the streaks were not going away because the chemicals were off & we were not brushing enough. I had the water tested weekly & everything was correct. No matter how much we brushed the pool the streaks did not disappear. We also paid for weekly pool maintenance for a month at Leo's recommendation. We realized a few weeks later that we were having to add at least 2 inches water to the pool everyday leading us to believe that there was a leak. Leo told us that we had old pipes around the pool & that was probably the cause of the leak thus being our fault. Leo knew before the remodel was started the age of the pool, pipes & all pool equipment & never said there were any issues when the plumbing was uncovered. He told us to call American Leak Detection to have them come out to check for leaks at our cost. We had to have Leak Detection come out twice to find the exact location of the leak to learn that it was not due to old pipes but caused by Everest Pools. Leo cut holes in the deck to get to the cracked pipe & repair it. He had to use some of our tools since he did not have what he needed & did not know the correct way to prep & repair PVC. We then had 2 holes in the new deck which were patched & repainted. The deck later cracked where both patches were so the cracks had to be repaired & the section repainted again. The pool is about 20 years old & part of the patio close to 40 years old. We had never had any cracks in it before this. All this time we were still dealing with the streaks in the stonescape. Leo tried several different things to correct it to no avail. He told us that the only option was to drain the pool & acid wash it but did not want to do that until he dealt with the leak. By then we were dealing with weather issues. They finally acid washed the pool Feb, 2018. In April, 2018 we noticed several cracks in the deck where it had been repaired after the leak. They came out a couple of weeks later to make the repairs & repaint with the touchup paint we had. The touchup paint did not match. When I sent pictures for them to see the difference they offered to repaint the whole deck so it would match. Since they were repainting the whole deck we asked if we could pick a new color. Leo agreed to a new color. The deck was painted on May 18. On May 23 I contacted Everest Pools to ask for more touch up paint since they had only left about a cup & we already had several areas to touch up. We agreed to purchase a gallon of paint for $40. On May 29 I sent several pictures showing how the paint was coming off just from the rain. In July offered to have someone come out to repaint the whole deck for $1 a square foot or just do touch up. We agreed to the touch up. Leo said he would get 2 gallons of paint for us from his deck crew. We waited all day for them to show up with the paint. Finally at about 5 pm someone showed up with a 5 gallon bucket only about a ¼ full that was all moldy, not the 2 gallons he was purchasing. He did not paint. In mid-Sept we confirmed the paint name for the touch up. Since then we have called or texted with Leo but no one has been here to do any work & the pint continued to peel off. In Nov he said he would put us on the schedule. I contacted him in Jan but have not heard from him since. Since last May there have been multiple times that Leo has told me that someone would be out or he would put us on the schedule or he would contact me the next week. If I had not continued to contact him there would have been no contact at all. The only time he said he was sending someone out to paint with 1 gallon of paint he only gave us an hour notice but we were not at home. He has never come out personally or sent anyone to look at how the paint was peeling.
