PSC is my go-to shipping store! They have a great selection of boxes to choose from with good pricing, buying a label is easy to do - just have to fill out a form, and they have printing/copy services! And the service here is always excellent!

    Simple but informative layout.

We always go as a pair one drives around looking for parking while the other gets down to drop off the package. Wait Time: When I arrived, there were two customers being helped. Surprisingly, there were two employees working (which is rare for such a small store, but maybe because of the holidays). I waited about seven minutes before I was called. After me, about four or five people lined up, so it can get packed quickly. Service: I was just sending out a package related to health insurance. It was super quick. I handed it over, they scanned it, and gave me the receipt sticker. The employee was fine, not rude, but not overly friendly either. Just did the job and said thank you. Store Size & Atmosphere: It's a very small location. A customer was on the side loading a bunch of boxes onto a trolley which made it feel even more crowded. There's also a "For Lease" sign on the side of the building not sure if they're moving or if it's for another unit, but they've been there a long time. Product Quality: I didn't buy anything here, so I can't comment on the store products. Value: I wasn't charged for my shipment (it was covered), so no comment on pricing either. Overall: Quick drop-off, small and busy store, challenging parking, but the wait wasn't bad for me. Good for simple, fast package sending.

I didn't have any issues at first. I usually deal with the man. Only dealt with the Woman a few times. She was pretty pleasant. The guy, not so much. He creates issues with me for no reason. Maybe he's had bad experiences with other people. One day I came for a package. He shoed me away and said, "Go check your mailbox first, why you ask me that." I said, Sir I don't have a mailbox here. I have FedEx drop off's. I noticed the more I frequent this location throughout the years it's gotten worse. I have never had a problem in 15 yrs with any shop owners in this area. I don't even go there often only recently because I have thieving new neighbors. This shop owner gives me attitude Everytime I go to pick up or drop off packages. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. He's older maybe had a bad day. But at some point it's out right disrespectful so the disrespect must be addressed. He acts like he doesn't want me to touch his products or collect mine. He's returned my packages after telling me to come back later. I come back and then he say's ,"Oh I didn't know I sent it back." He told me after 7days he returns them. So why would you return it when I came for it before 7 days???I feel it was always there. I feel he deliberately sent them back. He's told me my packages weren't there. When I inquire about packages on his table against the wall. He gets an attitude when my package is actually in that pile. I still say, "Thank you so much!!!" He even sent me home to get mail w/ my 8yr old daughter's name and address because her Aunt sent a Christmas gift from MS. He told me my ID and address didn't matter, because it was in her name. I never heard of that for a minor. I said ok, I found the mail. He was mad I found it. He's told me when I come in to have my email open so he can check that he has my package. The first time I didn't know this. So I'm always ready whenever I come in. I'm polite and I speak. He just stares at me as if I have no business in his place. Like I'm not even speaking English and I'm well versed. Then he'll say, "what??" So I repeat myself. He still has an attitude. Even when I drop off packages. You're supposed to give a receipt. As proof of drop off. He told me he doesn't have to. He let me take a picture of his tablet as a receipt. The next time he got an attitude and said no. I'll get an email as a receipt. That's not going to work if my package is lost. I need a receipt or some proof that it was actually dropped off for insurance to cover a lost l, damaged item. He told me to "take a picture of my package on the counter." That doesn't prove my package was dropped off or shipped for insurance. Anyone can have a picture on a counter. He's even told me my package wasn't there and checked his paper list. I said, "excuse me Sir, I saw my name. He threw the paper down and said, "You find it!" I wanted to go off but I said I need my stuff. I'm not going to keep putting up with this behavior. I hate to say it's racism, but maybe he just doesn't like me. Some people are like that no matter how polite you are. I went last week to drop off a package and he refused. I have a feeling he doesn't want to service me and that's fine, that's his business he has that right. I also have a right to let people know how he has treated me and it has gotten worse. I highly believe in treating people fair and how you want to be treated. Therefore I will continue to report this business. Treat people better. I'm not trying to be liked. I've worked in customer service for Loomis Armored, Parking Violation, Casino's and the City of Hollywood. So, I know how it is to deal with the public. I've seen the worst. That's why I be sure to always treat people kind. I feel because he's there probably for the heavy Asian community of USC he doesn't care about anyone outside of that. If not then surely it must be racism because I am Afro Latino.

They even recycle the boxes so sometimes I'll empty my products if I have time so I can give the boxes and not have so much to carry. The employee assisting me, Jesus, placed the wrong shipping label on the wrong package. Because of this error, the recipient received a $2 calculator instead of the materials we shipped. When I called the store to report the issue, the manager, Josh, was immediately rude and dismissive. He falsely accused me of yelling, told me I needed to come into the store to resolve it, and then hung up on me. I then went to the store in person and spoke with a woman named Violet. I calmly explained the situation, but she was extremely condescending and refused to take any responsibility for the mistake made by their employee. Instead of trying to help resolve the issue, she told me I needed to take it up with UPS corporate. What made the situation even more disturbing was that Violet accused me of coming into the store "aggressive," which was completely untrue. I was calm and respectful the entire time. As a Black woman, being immediately labeled as aggressive when I was simply trying to address and resolve a mistake made by the store reflects the harmful and tired "angry Black woman" stereotype. That stereotype does not apply to me, and it should not be used to dismiss legitimate concerns from customers. Instead of taking accountability for a clear error made in their store, the staff chose to be dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. I will be filing formal complaints with UPS corporate and the Better Business Bureau regarding both the mishandling of this shipment and the way I was treated. If you want to avoid the headache and disrespect, I strongly recommend going to the Figueroa location, where the staff are professional, helpful, and actually customer-service oriented.
