They even recycle the boxes so sometimes I'll empty my products if I have time so I can give the boxes and not have so much to carry. The price for my box is reasonable for three months as I'm transitioning to a new place and what I love most is that it's a physical address making receiving packages easier. THIS LOCATION NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!!! This location needs immediate attention from corporate. I went into this store to ship a package using a prepaid label containing time-sensitive materials valued at approximately $1,000. The employee assisting me, Jesus, placed the wrong shipping label on the wrong package. Because of this error, the recipient received a $2 calculator instead of the materials we shipped. When I called the store to report the issue, the manager, Josh, was immediately rude and dismissive. He falsely accused me of yelling, told me I needed to come into the store to resolve it, and then hung up on me. I then went to the store in person and spoke with a woman named Violet. I calmly explained the situation, but she was extremely condescending and refused to take any responsibility for the mistake made by their employee. Instead of trying to help resolve the issue, she told me I needed to take it up with UPS corporate. What made the situation even more disturbing was that Violet accused me of coming into the store "aggressive," which was completely untrue. I was calm and respectful the entire time. As a Black woman, being immediately labeled as aggressive when I was simply trying to address and resolve a mistake made by the store reflects the harmful and tired "angry Black woman" stereotype. That stereotype does not apply to me, and it should not be used to dismiss legitimate concerns from customers. Instead of taking accountability for a clear error made in their store, the staff chose to be dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. I will be filing formal complaints with UPS corporate and the Better Business Bureau regarding both the mishandling of this shipment and the way I was treated. Date of visit: October 11, 2025, around 1 PM This was my first and last visit to this UPS Store. I stopped by to drop off a TikTok return that clearly stated "No box or label required" -- a simple bundled return with three small items. The two employees on duty, Violet and another young woman, were extremely rude, unprofessional, and discriminatory. The moment I handed over my package, they said, "We charge $1 for taping it." I was confused and politely showed them the return instructions, which stated no box or label required. Without even looking, they said, "No, that's not right, it has to be in a package and taped." The situation escalated when I asked for clarification. Violet came over, raised her voice, and demanded, "Show me where it says no box required!" When I showed her the return details, she replied with attitude, saying, "You have to tell us where it's returning to -- TikTok, Amazon, Shein. If you don't say anything, we assume Amazon." I pointed out that they never asked. They eventually accepted the return but threw the receipt at me and mocked me with a racial slur, saying "Ching Chong bye ciao." I was shocked and deeply offended. A customer who witnessed it apologized to me on behalf of them, saying it was the worst store he had been to. Even another UPS worker outside said, "That's ridiculous." I will be filing a formal complaint with UPS Corporate and the BBB. This location needs immediate review, and Violet along with the staff on duty that day should be held accountable and get terminate immediately. I had no problems dropping off Amazon packages with QR codes. However, today I went to drop off a package that had a printed label. I mistakenly thought I could place the package in a carrier bag, as is the process with USPS, but I was wrong. I showed up 8 minutes before closing and the doors were already locked. I called ahead and was explicitly told they close at 7:00 PM. I arrived at 6:52 PM, which is clearly BEFORE closing. The worst part? The employees were standing right inside, fully aware I was there, and intentionally avoided eye contact like children who didn't want to get caught. I knocked on the glass, pointed at the posted store hours, and tried multiple times to get their attention. They flat-out ignored me. Not a word. Not a gesture. Nothing. If you're going to close early, don't lie to customers on the phone, lock the doors early, and then pretend people don't exist. That's not just bad customer service -- it's lazy, unprofessional, and disrespectful. This place clearly doesn't value customers' time or business. Unfortunately, I did not feel like the staff were friendly enough. I paid a high price to have a flat envelope shipped that won't even be there for over a week. VERY disappointed. The clerk also asked to see my ID, which I understand in a way but it also made me feel they thought I was doing something illegal as he tried to feel and press the envelope and ask me what was in it several times even after I gave him all of the information. I came here and mailed an important envelope. I paid over $50 dollars to get an important document mailed on time. I found out that the city and state were entered incorrectly by the staff and the item wasn't delivered on time. I called UPS who told me that I had to go to the store and file an investigation. I asked for the manager Violet - who was also the employee who entered the information incorrectly. Expressed my dissatisfaction and asked for a refund which I was not granted. As I was leaving the store had a patron in it and the staff began escalating the situation and talking back, and being aggressive. I didn't raise my voice and kept my comments solely to the business I had with the store. The patron in the store and began yelling screaming, behaving in an uncalled-for and threatening manner. The staff did nothing to stop this or tone down the situation but rather to escalate it and encourage it. Including yelling screaming, threats of physical violence, and racist slurs including the n-word. The staff and patrons both seemed to behave like this was okay. The manager Violet J is not only incapable of doing the most basic functions of her job properly but isn't capable of managing the store or descalating situations like this. You can see this is not an isolated incident from the other reviews. I do not know who owns this place or employs people like this but this business should not continue. And UPS shouldn't allow stores like this to operate. I have been coming to this store for over a decade -- longer than most of the employees that work there. read more

Date of visit: October 16 at 4pm I went to the UPS store at 9th and Flower to get a passport photo. Violet, the UPS employee, kindly advised me that there was a huge demand for passport photos that day, and they were out of photo paper. She really felt bad and advised me of some other sources for a passport photo downtown. I had already been to those places, and their photo equipment was down. Understanding the urgency of my need, Violet decided to try an alternate photo paper, and it worked!! I visited this location to drop off my Amazon returns. Little did I know this was going to be the worst possible place to do it at... They have a ridiculous $1 per strip of tape fee if I wanted to return something or help close something up last second. I have gone to plenty of places before for returns or various other tasks and my whole life I've never been met with such disrespect and sense of entitlement to tell me I gotta pay for such a menial simple task that realistically costs next to nothing. The second time I was able to return the item but was not met with any sort of kindness but a sense of pride in the fact he made me walk all that way to just tape one package because I didn't believe in the principle of the rule. I did my transaction and on the way out simply said thanks for making me walk and he laughed at me then told me "you're welcome" like this manager or employee or whoever he is was happy and prideful to cause inconvenience to another human. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a human being in my entire life! VIOLET, an employee there, shouldn't just be fired but physically restrained from interacting with people--an absolutely miserable human being. I went yesterday to pick up my package, which was delivered there with a label created under my company's name. When I went to pick it up, VIOLET (again, the name of this employee who claims to be the owner of that UPS establishment) refused to release my package, saying there's no person's name on it. I presented my resale number, which has my actual name and company name, along with government-issued documentation of my EIN, showing both names--my company's and my actual name. She claimed she "has all the power" and wouldn't give me my package, saying she'd send it back to the UK that night. I told her she can't do that since I have a week to pick it up, but she continued yelling and bragging about her so-called power. At that point, I started recording her. I'm reporting her to UPS and will provide videos as proof--she's probably mentally ill and needs anger management. VIOLET, you get what you deserve and deserve to be a miserable human being.
