My friend recommended this place to me. I typically go elsewhere (that shall not be named) but my friend was convinced that I was getting ripped off there, so here I am for the second time at Premier Auto Clinic! I had an appointment at 10am and they took my car in right away! I was surprised and so pleased that they were so timely and they stayed true to my appointment. I find that other bigger flagship places don't stay true to the appointment time and I usually have to wait even an hour or two after my appointment for my car to get taken in to start servicing. The staff has always been friendly. The waiting room inside isn't the cleanest, but what can you expect from an auto establishment. The waiting room is spacious and I like that they have a TV running to keep you entertained if you are waiting. I brought my car in to get my suspensions checked, alignment on my wheels, and to check if my tires are leaking. They have wifi available, in case you have to wait and want to bring your laptop. When they were done with my car, they gave me a call to let me know. They let me know that my car is in good shape and nothing is wrong with it! They fixed my alignment and gave me documentation of that. I was only charged for the alignment and I left a happy customer! As I was driving, I was ecstatic to leave a review because I can feel that my driving wheel is aligned centered and perfectly. The alignment of my wheels have been slightly off for the longest time because of the other establishment I used to go to continuously doing subpar work. I'm so relieved to have taken my car to a place that does the work how it should be done. Right the first time. I plan to continue going here from now on because it seems like a credible establishment and because I also trust my friends opinion. read more

DJ "installed" a new exhaust system on our BMW X5 and destroyed our car. He glued it to the exhaust manifold because he broke off the screws that it should have been attached to, which became lodged in the engine block. Thank goodness it was summer when this happened, because he could have killed us all, when the exhaust leaked into the passenger cabin (which he told us to expect?) and we had to ride with all the windows open every time we drove it. We lodged a complaint with Montgomery County Consumer Protection, who took Premiere to court, won the case, and fined the crap out of them. We also sued for the money we paid them, and the cost of the repair, but of course, being the shady kind of shop they are, they still haven't paid. read more

TLDR: The owner shouts at his employees, the shop overlooks details and doesn't listen well to what the customer says is wrong, and the customer service is mid and gets worse the longer you're interacting with them. Took my Kia Soul in after hitting a bad pothole to get the car's suspension and some highway-speed vibration I noticed checked out, they fixed a loose piece of trim plastic that was rubbing on the wheel, free of charge, and told me it was good. I picked it up, started driving on the highway, and realized there was definitely still an issue. Took it back and they actually checked it out this time, and said I'd need a rim replacement, and they rotated the problem wheel to the back of the vehicle while I thought on it and while the part was in transit. I took it back in for the rim replacement and picked it up later that day, and the wheels were not rotated back (I have different tires in front and in back), and one of the tires was leaking air and going flat after a day of use. I also noticed that one of my lug nuts was missing, which was pretty upsetting. I took it back in and asked them to rotate the tires back, replace the lug, and fix the leak. They replaced the lug, said the tire problem was a problem with the air stem and fixed it, and then rotated the tires on both sides so they were still diagonal from their matching tires instead of 2 in front, 2 in rear. They finally put the tires back in their original location (after about 4 return visits in total), and I left. They didn't charge me for anything except the rim replacement and alignment, which was not cheap, but I was not pleased with the service. The owner(?) Danny was very rude to his employees and not that nice to me either, so I had no intentions of returning. Skipping to today, I took the car in because I was still feeling some weirdness, and Cho's Auto Care (shoutout!) has had it for a couple hours and notified me that there was an issue with the frame I'd have to take it to a body shop for, and that my rear brake pads need to be replaced, nice and simple, no shouting at employees required. I'm never coming back to Premier. read more

I picked this Shop because it was one of several listed on the Maryland Emission repair sites. I called at least four other shops listed, but I only felt comfortable with selecting this location based on my conversation with Dan. The other shops did not give me a straight answer on what the cost would be, but Dan was straightforward with the cost. He replaced my catalytic converter and performed other minor things on my car without any additional charges. With that said, I would highly recommend this shop. read more

The shop has professional mechanics who handle your car with extreme prejudice. Customer service is the real old school type where you deal with the owner first hand without being lost in translation of automated communication with multiple choices zero through a zillion to choose your prompt, a rare occurrence in this world of mega conglomerates. He has friendly staff and a conducive lot and shop. His prices will never make you choose between your car and mortgage. Danny is very knowledgable and won't squeeze you for no reason. However he's not the one working on the cars, took my BMW to him for 4-5years periodically and asked him to throughly check for any issues EVERY time I brought my car in. Had another mechanic look at it (my friend) and within 5 mins showed me how I had gas leaks, and very likely a head gasket issue (milky residue in the coolant reservoir). I don't understand why Danny and company couldn't figure this out and notify me but instead charge me for serpentine belts and other nonsense that could've been avoided. Either way sold the car, in time thanks to another mechanic. Don't take a German car to this place. read more

Been working with Danny and crew for about 5 years now. I have an older car, and many don't want to work on it because I actually expect good service for the price. Shame because Danny has been willing to fix everything wrong with it since I've been bringing it to him, including things the dealership has priced me out of. He stands behind his work, charges very good prices, and always seems to go the extra mile to make things 110%. I love this place! It's a really quite small business that works hard and is good at what they do. My family has been going here for 10 years after being ripped off at other local mechanics and we haven't looked back! They always have the best price but do the best work.
