I gave him the run down of what the dealer said. He said bring him the car and let him do his own investigations on my vehicle and get back to me. same day in about 3 hours the pictures you see is what he found to be some of the problems. I thought I needed a new transmission but I needed a transmission assby, expansion hoses, transmission cooler, fluids, new radiator, radiator cap and 5 to 8 upper and lower hose to engine and radiator. Keith did everything for $4,881. 40. I was leaving to go out of town and got my car back before time to leave. If you want the best take your car to the best. Keith is my new mechanic he saved me a fortune. It's good to know I won't be stuck on the side of the road due to shabby work. Thanks again.

It took about two weeks to fix which was fine as I didn't need it right away and I didn't want them to rush the job anyway. Vince did a great job rebuilding the transmission and it shifts so nicely now. I think it's actually better than it was from the factory. The column shifter needed so work too and that now operates really well. I had Vince build a race transmission for my Mustang over 15 years ago and it still operates perfectly. Will be using them again for any future transmission needs.

Eric is the mechanic, and he not only knows which way is up on your car (not always a guarantee, trust me), he will explain why it is up and not down and how it might be even more up, in plain English, in a completely understandable way. Not a common skill, believe me. He clearly is all about cars, is a total car person, and I'll be having him do everything I can't do myself from now on. Kristyn is up front and took care of things lickety split. Smiles, laughter, and good vibes great you when you walk in, which also is a pretty rare thing in the scowl-heavy world of mechanics. She's a gem. One last note: the garage is incredibly clean. I have spent a lot of time about cars and mechanics generally and I have seen some stuff in my time, and Eric's garage is by far the cleanest I've ever encountered. No black smudges on the floor, all tools in their rightful place, everything seems color coded or to be in a purposeful place... I was impressed. The poor review someone wrote for this business surprises me because I don't see that happening here, not with the way Ron runs things. My warranty on the work is excellent, and it is running great with 1k miles since the work was completed.

I dropped my vehicle off and immediately received a text with a list of "issues" that needed to be fixed. I agreed for them to do the work although my main concern was the check engine light. I left my vehicle at the shop for 2 days. When I picked my vehicle up, I paid over $2.5K and was assured that in addition to the other "issues", the check engine light issue was resolved. A week later, the check engine light came back on. I took the vehicle back and left it for a day. I was again assured that the issue was resolved and was "only" charged for a part that was replaced, but not labor. Great! Today, the check engine light is back on. Unfortunately , I will not be contacting this shop to "fix" it for a THIRD time. The staff is fairly friendly so they'd likely be willing to look at it again; however, I cannot trust that they will finally fix the issue nor can I continue to spend my time and $ there. I have gotten the vehicle scanned elsewhere and it is giving the SAME CODE as the original and that the shop claimed they fixed TWICE. I was also told by another mechanic that this should have been a fairly easy and minor fix had it been diagnosed properly the first time around. Very unfortunate that I can no longer recommend this shop due to lack of reliability and/or expertise.

That aspect of this shop seems to have changed over the years as they are now greatly over estimating, and charging for labor costs. A simple wheel bearing replacement was quoted at just over $1200 with 4.3 hours of labor. This is not the average time for wheel bearing replacement, especially when replacing the hub which was quoted as well. With the proper equipment, I could train a new mechanic on how to do the job in under 4.3 hours.... I'll never be taking a car here again and will be looking for another location for tuning.

The girl at the front desk was very nice and explained all of the pricing and everything to me in a transparent manner before I even drop the car off. They do have a little waiting area with coffee and water, so you can wait if you would like. However, it's also not that far from a Starbucks and other shops, so I opted to drop off. When my vehicle was done, I received with both a call and a text. I was able to pick it up within minutes, and what I appreciated both is that they didn't try to upsell or add on a bunch of additional services like they do it most car shops. Everything was super straightforward. I would definitely return for additional services. They took the job seriously, we're extremely kind and fair, and didn't have me waiting all day. A couple notes: this shop is located behind a bunch of other shops and businesses. It is on the back row, so you will have to pass by a bunch of places that look like they do similar work before you find them. However, they have signage. They are in the back corner, so don't go to the wrong place.
